This weather's been crazy! We've been stuck in this deep freeze for over a week now. The temperature hasn't climbed above freezing for like 10 days – it's brutal out there. And to make things worse, with all this cold, the humidity's been acting weird. It's really hard on the plants, especially without the sun to help them dry out a little. "My Gas Tax x Obama Runtz plant is totally killing it right now! After a rough patch, it's finally starting to thrive. The leaves are this super bright green, and I can't believe how many flower buds I'm seeing. It's so rewarding to watch it bounce back." I can also make it sound a little more scientific if you want.

450 - PPFD

I made a few adjustments this week. I simply increased the girls' diet a bit with mineral supplements in addition to the organic soil nutrients. I increased the PK and added some NitCal and a little Mg to nourish the soil until the end of the flowering stage. I added some Bokashi to the surface of the soil along with Biostimulant for Flora, rich in amino acids, sugars, molasses, and more. I added a little BTi to ensure there were no gnat eggs left and Trichoderma to prevent any other unwanted soil fungus. They received two nutritious waterings during the week, possibly the last or second-to-last one. We'll see how they react throughout this journey. Despite everything, I'm still very happy with how everything is going.

Had to move this one into the flower chamber of the BlumenBot DZ1 cabinet since I'm curing epoxy rosin in the room where the BlumenBot Solo cabinet is in. Cleaned her up quite a bit, the canopy is nearly there, she might catch up to mendo breath and flip at the same time. 10/8 - cleaned her up a little more and took out a few tops and fan leaves. Also put little 90* angle clips on 4 of the shoots

3 Space Candy Plants beginning life in the pots. I added a Green Crack seedling because the Jack Skellington's seeds were a no go. Day 92 30/09/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag. She has shown drastic improvement this week with trichome development, colours deepening too a purple and pink . Pistils forming a deep 🧡, and the calyxs are forming like rose buds 🌹, tight upright curls , doused in trichomes 😍. Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 12 June 8-14 FLOWER 7 Sadly, my journey with Frostbanger is almost over. This grow started as an unnamed FBA2502 tester strain completely unknown regarding growth habits, size, flavor profile or smoke effect. I used LST on two plants: #1 because she was leaning over so I decided to pin her down immediately. I decided to LST Plant #3 when I saw her nodes were short and stems were tight. To quote Fastbuds “Growers must know that these difficult-to-grow plants will pose specific challenges in terms of environmental control and nutrition” , making them best suited for cultivators with some experience under their belt. I mention this because 2 plants #4 & #5 always looked lighter than their counterparts. Having overfed in the past grows, I did not want to repeat the same mistake, especially when the other plants were lush and green and did not look deficient. I thought it was genetics, but I found out that these two plants probably had nutrient lockout and would have benefitted from a good flush. Overall, I didn’t make mistakes with overfeeding or over trimming. I had to manually control the environment since the ventilation went out. I did pretty good at maintaining a functional environment. Plants #2 & #5 developed pretty reds in their upper buds and leaves probably because of the air conditioner. The A/C brought the night temperatures to 65-68. This week I am flushing with an anticipated harvest this weekend. I did the last plant pictures and videos and trichome shots on each plant. I did preliminary defoliation removing the remaining fan leaves. For most of the sugar leaves I trimmed off the ends leaving the base with all the frost. These are going into the trim bag to be washed into bubble hash.
