Growing like a weed. Light burn mid veg, due to ph meter broken. Quickly recovered after flush. No issues since. Day 14, lowering nitrogen tomorrow. Slowly raising her ph a wee bit, she doesn’t seem to mind. 7 out of 8 seem to be on the same pace, one is a little slower. All plants, aside from color, look the same genetically. Rare to have a bag of seeds with the exact same plants. Good job Grower’s Choice. Still no pollen sacs on sprayed branches.

Mini Wool Cube, placed in an 11 liter pot, peat, perlite Watered without much drainage, this mini cube has settled into its new location, a vision of how pH can be managed by mixing these media. Light soil only peat/perlite, so I am watering avoiding high runoff. Just what it takes to see the output track Foliar application, certain time after the twilight of the lights. I placed the LED closer to the cup.

I started her flush midweek last week. I plan to chop her Saturday so the next update will be the harvest report. I will let her dry for about 90 hours in the myherbsnow and then cure her for a week or two and then add the harvest report.

28 days later....worm poo and coffee grounds not made much difference to colour of leaves, although all are growing nicely...trying some spirulina powder next to see if that helps

Good week for the girls..started way hot but has been getting cooler witch is great for flowering...they growing very fast now and have shot out meny new bud spots. My clones will db my yield and have been a great learning experience ...I have raise every kinda plant ..but these girls are a joy to grow... challenging ..frustrating .. but always a joy!

Still progressing. Haven’t fed anything except cal mag water and occasional misting. Slowly lowering grow light, and still dialing in the temp and humidity. This week between 69-73 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity 40%-50%. Occasional leaf tucking

03/28/2021 Start of week #7 and she has finally got some pre-flowers showing up, so next week should be starting to flower. The broken branch is looking great I wonder if she will root and flower? That would be a nice bonus for sure! Watering she took up 2 liters before 10% run off going to give her some banana peel tea ( 1 hour later she drank 1 liter before runoff) 1tbls to 2 liters, theoretically I can feed till harvest but I do like two weeks on plain water maybe molasses? Day #55 since soaking in the water and showing her very first pre-flower. Right about where I would expect a decent Photo-Period INDICA to show her maturity, but she is an Auto-flower and expected earlier pre-flower, nevertheless she is looking great! And am exited to see how she does in flower crossing my fingers for a sativa dominant high!.

Happy Holidays! Week 4 flower and not much to report. Didn’t do anything special, just water from drip, about 1 gallon over 24hrs. Drip turns on 4x during lights on. Light seems to be hitting everywhere fairly even. 2x TSW 2000’s are at about 75%, 18-20” from canopy. I might turn them up to 100% and see how they react for the final push and then turn them down again nearing the end. I will also top dress again soon for the last time. Fungus Gnats are around but I wouldn’t say it’s an infestation, just got to put in a few more traps and I think the “Grub Grenade” is taking care of the soil. There is a 2” layer of straw mulch to help keep them off the surface comfortably. Sour Diesel genetics from Blimburn are strong, thick branching, frosty, sweet & sour smell right NOW, nice internode spacing for light penetration required less defoliation. Thanks for the view! Week 7 of flower in the books and we’ve had to adjust to the height issues in an attempt to salvage what we can of the largest mains on the cheese. Really should’ve done this 2 weeks ago and while it’d be preferable not to supercrop this late in flower - there really wasn’t a choice. It was done early in the week and the plant is none the worse for wear. On the whole, the nute burn issue has been rectified and while the damage isn’t massive, it’s still really obvious. For all the above reasons, We’re really not going to get that late flower look with this plant. Kinda sad there. Otherwise, the plants have begun to colour up and were quickly coming in to the harvest window. At this rate it looks like the gorilla cookies and cherry Bomb will go off first, with the cheese to follow and the lemon haze last. The GC is absolutely covered in trichs. We expect a great finish for this one. She’s unlike any pheno I’ve seen on here - ducksfooted with a pineapple shape to her heads but again, got it where it counts. The cherry Bomb is similar but also true to her description - huge cherry diesel scent coming off this plant. She’s chunky and sticky too so very pleased she’s made something of herself. The lemon haze is developing And rounding out slower. Trich production is moderate and I suspect she’s got a week longer than the rest. We’re getting there - maybe a week to 10 days. Almost time for jazz hands👍😎. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Welcome to week 13 of my white truffle grow ? At the end of last week week I started a little defoliation of unnecessary or sunlig blocking leafs. No stress reaction at all, she continues to bulk up and the first trichomes turning into amber. Also some leafs are turning "purple" or "dark" at their corners. I think the autumn has begun :) She still looks vivid and frosty af.

Still a about a week to go before she enters Ripening. Trichomes are 60-40 cloudy/clear. Ambers about 15%. Has been nice watching her develop into a lovely little plant. She is little, at just 53cm, she grew very little in her stretch, as did all of my fems. 1 grew 5cm in her whole pre flower, a dom sativa too. But, back to this girl. She has a lovely structure with a sweet smell, her buds pop with bright orange pistils, she still has a good bit of stumble, so, I reckon she's got about a week left in putting on mass. Diet/Defoliation She was on a healthy but low dose of feed never exceeding 650ppm with both Short Flowering and PK booster powder from Green House Feeding. I've decided to drop their booster for 3 of Atamis finishers with a touch of Plagron Zym & Silic Rock the Finishers ppm falls inthe range of 350-430ppm and then I add short flowering to give a boost for N, which brings the ppm up to 550-600 & PHs of 5.9-6.2, I've ordered Raw NPK & Micro nutrients to have more control over my feeds. For terpine/taste profile I went with the best product on the market, Terpinator "The OG" feeds off this are very high I feel, 380-410ppm PH 6.1. Very light defoliation has been done, as she really had already a low leaf-calyx ratio. So, I'm happy overall with her progress, all a little slow, but, she's getting there. I reckon 9 weeks total in Flowering but, as soon as I see 90-95% cloudy she'll be harvested. I won't be waiting for her to turn mostly amber. (As the weed degradation kicks in) I've been learning bit and extras with every grow, and they just keep getting better and better, the quality of her look already speaks to my improvements. Still a long way to go. But, I feel I for sure can reach beyond Dispen weed you get from a store, or local dealer. Lights: SP 3000 & IR/UV45 are been used to great affect this round, they're doing 8 plants in a 50x100cm2 space as opposed to the 11 I did in a space of 100cm2. Can already see much improvement in the bud. Glad I decided to retry this light in its more desirable coverage conditions. The IR/UV45 has stepped up my game so much, I really can't praise this product enough. (IF YOU'RE GROWING FEMS, AND UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF DLI, and don't implement this "1-2hrs extra flowering for all fems, without risk of reveg" then, well you really are behind in the times. And, its not as if its a new concept, Far Reds have been used by knowledgeable growers for decades to increase the flowering time and therefore your DLI. The UV-A is a really nice addition also. A lot of growth from last week to this week. Hardly any pH issues now and I rarely have to adjust with pH down. I still check at least once daily. Panicked last week after feeding when I saw how brown the roots were but it seemed to only be from the brown micro solution. Plants were fine. Moved my light up some after noticing a teeny bit of light burn. Plants are finally stretching up. Snapped my airstone in two when cleaning and changing the res tonight so I’ll have to pick up a new bar tomorrow. Will keep a spare on hand from now on. Hoping I’ll be able to flip in 10-14 Days.

July 24, 2020 The phenotypes have been stretching as normal. Some of them already passed the 30 in mark. Some bottom leaves are turning yellow but we think it is normal for lower leaves to die. We not only gave the plants Gaia green bloom amendments but also, we fertilized the plants with some Alaska morbloom 0-10-10. (Once every three weeks) Water intake has been increasing. Now the plants are being water every other day. 10-14 liters for 10 plants. Happy grow🤤🌱🌱🌱🌱!!!!

I ended up with 2.5 oz of nice bud and about 8 grams of some very tasty cookes hash rosin. Great plant! I cloned her and am running her clones out side fo the fast flower. I will be washing it all it made some great rosin!!!!
