Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. Last week of veg, starting 12/12 tomorrow as I'm starting to worry about space.. hopefully stretching isn't too much of an issue.. we shall see. I'm still not happy with my defoliation, I've been mostly removing large/damaged leaves and sucker branches off the bottom of the plants. I've been experimenting with the fan and scrog placement, placing one large fan oscillating below the canopy and two clip on fans above the tops and mostly using the scrog as a support for branches during flower as I somewhat failed to actually scrog.. Once again, any advice much appreciated and happy holidaze!

Hello, I hope you're all doing well. I'll consider this week a complete failure. When I repotted my plants, I added mulch, but it was only 3 cm thick. As a result, my plants were miserable for four days because it was too thick. The soil was cold and remained very damp due to watering during repotting. It smothered the fallen leaves, some of which even turned yellow. It seemed like a magnesium and calcium deficiency and an unbalanced pH. I re-evaluated my approach and, most importantly, added a light layer of mulch. They've recovered well. It just goes to show that a small mistake can teach you something new every day. This week, I added: 2 g of Epsom salt: This powerful mineral is pure magnesium sulfate, one of the main components of chlorophyll produced by plants. It's a chelating agent: it allows the solubility of other substances (such as molasses, humic and fulvic acids, neem oil, and spirulina) and acts as a heavy metal sequestrant. 5 g of Micronized Wild Horsetail Spray: silica, defense 5 g Fish Hydrolysate: amino acids, proteins ppm 600 pH 6.5 Wishing you all a successful cannabis grow! **************************************************** Bonjour, J'espère que vous allez tous bien. Du coup mes pieds, on fait la gueule pendants 4 jours, car il était trop épais. La terre était froide, rester très humide dut à un arrosage lors du rempotage. Elle étouffait les feuilles tombées, elles ont même jauni pour certaines. Comme un manque de magnésium calcium et un PH non ajusté. Remise en cause et surtout un paillage léger. Elles sont bien reparties. Mais comme quoi une petite erreur et on apprend tous les jours. Dans ma terre cette semaine, j'ai rajouté. 2 g de Sel d Epsom: Ce puissant minéral est du pur sulfate de magnésium, l'un des principaux composants de la chlorophylle produite par le règne végétal. My Lit Marker plant is really taking off! It's growing so fast, and the leaves are getting bigger every day. They have this cool, pointy shape that reminds me a lot of the Black Valentine plant. It's exciting to see how quickly it's developing, and I can't wait to watch it grow even more. Stay tuned for more updates on this beauty! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

Wochenupdate – Tag 91 | Blüte Tag 31 🌱 Allgemeiner Eindruck Der Grow läuft insgesamt noch stabil, aber man sieht inzwischen recht deutlich, dass die Pflanzen in den letzten Tagen am Limit gefahren sind. Der Blütenaufbau geht weiter voran, der Geruch wird intensiver und die Kush zeigt ordentlich Harz, gleichzeitig zeigen beide Pflanzen sichtbare Calcium- und allgemeine Nährstofftransportprobleme, die klar auf das Klima zurückzuführen sind. Das war für die Blümchen spürbar Stress. 🌡️ Klima & VPD Durch trockene Winter- und Heizungsluft kam es zeitweise zu sehr hohen VPD-Werten (teils im Bereich 1,7–1,9), vor allem morgens – klassisch morgens Sahara, mittags Treibhaus. In dieser Phase stand mein Luftbefeuchter noch bei einer anderen Pflanze. Er ist inzwischen wieder im Blütezelt, wodurch sich das Klima deutlich beruhigt hat. Die aktuellen Symptome zeigen gut, dass der Nährstoff- und Calciumtransport unter dem hohen VPD schlicht eingebrochen war. Nährstoffe & Maßnahmen CalMag wurde ordentlich erhöht, um die Calcium-Verfügbarkeit abzusichern. Zusätzlich wurden Mikroben gegeben, um das System wieder besser ins Arbeiten zu bringen. Bio-Bloom wurde ganz dezent nachgeschoben. Durch das ungünstige VPD haben die Pflanzen zeitweise nicht sauber getrunken, was den Transport zusätzlich ausgebremst hat. Seit der Entlaubung an BT21 ist der Wasserverbrauch sowieso etwas geringer. Jetzt heißt es: abwarten, wirken lassen, Geduld üben 🐛 Schädlingslage Trauermücken gehen dank Nematoden langsam zurück. Trips sind weiterhin präsent, daher gab es nochmals Raubmilben sowie Florfliegenlarven zur Regulierung. ✅ Fazit Insgesamt bin ich weiter zuversichtlich. Der Stretch ist eingefangen, die Richtung stimmt, auch wenn das Klima kurz deutlich zu hart war. Jetzt geht es darum, das Setup stabil zu halten und den Pflanzen Zeit zu geben, sich wieder sauber einzupendeln. Draußen Winter, drinnen Blüte. Allen eine gute Woche. 🌱 RockoCalenberg Weekly Update – Day 91 | Flower Day 31 🌱 Overall Impression Overall the grow is still running stable, but it’s now quite clear that the plants have been pushed close to their limit over the last days. Bud development is progressing, the smell keeps getting stronger and the Kush is showing plenty of resin. At the same time, both plants show visible calcium and general nutrient transport issues, clearly linked to the climate. This phase definitely caused some stress. 🌡️ Climate & VPD Due to dry winter air and heating, VPD levels were temporarily very high (partly around 1.7–1.9), especially in the mornings – classic Sahara in the morning, greenhouse at noon. During that time, the humidifier was still running with another plant. It has since been moved back into the flower tent, which helped calm and stabilize the climate again. The current symptoms clearly show that nutrient and calcium transport was simply maxed out under those high VPD conditions – this wasn’t just isolated spots, but visible overall. Nutrients & Actions CalMag was increased properly to secure calcium availability. In addition, microbes were applied to help the system get back into balance. Bio-Bloom was topped up very lightly. Because of the unfavorable VPD, the plants were not drinking cleanly at times, which further limited nutrient transport. Since the defoliation at FD21, overall water uptake has been slightly lower and is being taken into account. For now it’s about waiting and letting things work, without further interventions. 🐛 Pest Situation Fungus gnats are slowly declining thanks to nematodes. Thrips are still present, so another round of predatory mites was added, along with lacewing larvae for additional control. ✅ Conclusion Overall I’m still confident. Stretch is under control and the direction is right, even though the climate was clearly too harsh for a short period.
