Day 21 After yesterday’s emergency bare root transplant out of biosolids, things are looking like there’s a glimmer of hope... They got topped and pruned yesterday. a little earlier than I would have liked, but it made sense. Day 23 Transplanted again down to 2 gallon pots to make room for another round I started. I decided to cut the fan leaves, too. These have been pruned and topped down to nothing but the emerging foilage from the 3rd and 4th nodes. My thinking is that the root system is so compromised that the less foliage they have to feed, the better. Fed some General Organics Bio Root 0-1-1 to promote root growth. Light mnist of pH’d water for foilar feeding. Day 25 I think the Bio Root and the shade is doing them good 🤞Time will tell. If these come back strong, I’ll move them into 15 gallon living soil bags.

Second week of nutes given on Saturday nice bit of growth from the plants really stretching n reaching out now soaking up as much light as they can quite a few deficiencies showing been giving 1ml calmag ontop of the nutes on the bottle per litre of water , very cramped 1 plant taken out the tent to create abit of space currently 45 in there 2.4m x 2.4m would only recommend putting 36/38 plants it top capacity in 7/9 litre pots

Well, this week has been eventful. What started with a fly deciding to lay eggs in my buckets with larvae swimming around and chilling on my roots turned into a bit of a disaster. I used very weak H2O2 (diluted 3% solution). To try and clean infestation, the roots didn’t like it, even though the actual concentration of H2O2 was probs less than 0.25%. Lesson learned 🙃 It has given some of them a touch of root rot (this is an assumption because I can’t figure out what else it could have been). So growth has stunted a lot. Just before the bug problem, I increased EC to 1.1, this was probably another mistake, the smaller girls at the back with a smaller root mass got massive lock out, potassium, mag and calcium by the looks of it, coupled with a few not so well timed PH swings out of the 5.5-6.5 range gave me a lot to combat this week. But, life goes on, they’re still alive (just about)... As this is probably the hardest curve ball I’ve had thrown at me since I started growing canna, I have cut back the EC to 0.56 to allow them to heal. Probably wrongly decided to top them all as they were growing past 7th node, either it’s gonna pay off, or I’ll be posting harvest details of 0g by this time next week 👽 I am on a stay at home holiday from work for the next 3 weeks, so looks like my babies are staying in the ICU and I’ll do my best to bring them back to life 😊

2/24/25 - Gave them 1 liter each from the top with fermented plant extract at 1tbsp per gallon of water and then fill the res with a little under 2.5 gallons all PH'd at 6.0, added a small heater outside the tent to raise the temp inside a bit. The girls are starting to take off in growth over the last couple days after transplant. I leave for vacation in 4 days so lets hope the homemade earthbox works. 2/27/25 - Leaving for vacation first thing in the morning so i will be doing a top water tonight at about 1 gallon per plant and they will also get the fermented plant extract at 1tbsp per gallon. then i will be filling the res with water until full, plants tops have been tied down for some LST and branches have been tucked but ill just have to let them grown for the next week. No one will be taking care of the plants so hopefully the SIP last for the week, if not they will get a nice dry back and get watered once i return.

My gorilla cookies plant from fastbuds is a really sturdy plant and it grew so much so fast it’s only my 3rd auto so I’m still getting down nutrients for autos they seem to use more than photos. The plant smells really strong like skunk. The buds are starting to fatten up and get tricombs. This plant has tons of potential for someone that knows what’s their doing with autos. You could really get it to stack a bunch if you did it right

Pre-Flowers On 13/04/2024, a gentle defoliation was carried out to clear away leaves that were obscuring younger bud sites. Additionally, the nutrient regimen was adjusted to incorporate Sensi Bloom at a concentration of 3.6.6 ml/l, with planned incremental adjustments up to 4ml/l as the flowers begin their enchanting journey towards full bloom. 1 hour after the lights were turned on, it was noted that the extractor fan may have been inadvertently disturbed during the defoliation process. Turned the lights wattage down at the end of this week to 400W to mimmic the sun moving further away from the earth during Autumn and Winter seasons. This also creates an overall cooler temperature signalling to the ladies that the end is in sight. This also protects the trichomes and ensures they don't get damaged and also dropped the The ladies are fading more and more into their vibrant autumn shades. With hues of pink and purple that makes me so excited! Feeding just PH correct water until harvest, which is around the corner. We are currently on day 63 of flower and checked the trichomes - just a few specs of amber and the cloudy trichomes are more prominent although there are still some clear ones.
