12/1 - Well, here we are. December 1st, start of week 9. She is absolutely loaded with buds and I just can't wait to see how they swell and ripen over the coming weeks. I switched over from Early-Bloom to Mid-Bloom nutes (DynaGro Week 5 Flower, Recirculating). This is the first week with Grow (FoliagePro) cut out completely. I still fed her at a 75% concentration of Bloom and of MagPro, but full strength of DynaZyme, ProTekt, and Hydroguard (At the amounts notated). This gives her a ppm right at 1000 (2.0ec), though she will likely go +/- 50-100ppm. This week the plan is to top off with pH'd water instead of topping off with nutes due to the higher EC, though target is to keep her between 800-1000ppm (1.6-2.0ec). 12/5 - Uploaded video from 12/4 Thanks again for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

Week 9 (Week 1 of flowering) has been a jaw-dropping experience in my Tropical Tangie Ninja Run. Our girl is absolutely killing it! Her luscious green foliage is a sight to behold, and my Lego Ninja buddies are always on point, making sure everything is in order. The excitement escalated as I spotted those little preflowers showing up towards the end of the week. I have a strong hunch that she's going to turn into a flowering monster during the first two weeks! <3 <3 <3 To support this explosive flowering growth, I made some savvy moves in my nutrient game. I decided to switch from my root booster to the fruit booster. Why, you ask? Well, my Tangie is transitioning her focus from root development to bud production. So, it's like shifting gears to give her exactly what she needs to create those magnificent flowers! But that's not all. I also added some P-booster to my nutrient mix. You might wonder why? It's because this little ninja booster is packed with phosphorus, the secret ingredient that stimulates robust flower formation. We want those buds to be big, dense, and super potent! <3 <3 With a canopy as lush as this, I'm already contemplating a potential defoliation around day 21 of flowering. It's like planning my ninja strategy in advance! But let's keep that for the next update hehe. As for her TDS numbers, they might not seem massive at 230, but remember, I'm using those amazing Aptus All-in-One Pellets mixed with the soil. Her main NPK is already packed in there, and these boosters are just giving her that extra ninja kick! With room temperatures at 28.9°C and a humidity level of 62%, the conditions are perfect for our Tangie to thrive. I can't contain my excitement for this epic ninja run! 11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Esta semana los nutrientes siguen de la misma manera, es notorio el exceso de Nitrogeno por ende se disminuira en los próximos riegos, se realizaron podas apicales en los clones que no les hice anteriormente para que alcanzaran más altura. Dentro de esta semana instalare la malla scrog Kanovi para guiar los vigorosos brotes. Además esta semana ya esta retomando el crecimiento la planta madre variedad Tangie la cual cumplió su ciclo de propagación por esquejes y porfin florecerá. I trimmed these a little early because I am going away for two weeks. The person taking care of them will only water them.That's why I trim them.Hopefully when I return, one would be ready to harvest and the other two would be finishing up shortly after. The last couple posts of this might just be screenshots until I return and harvest. I defoliated a lot of the leaves that were covering nug sites a lot of leaves that returning a slightly different color.

Diary Legend: 💧- Watered 🌱- Seedling 🌲- Cut Down 🍃- Defoliation ✂️- Topping or FIM'ING 🚂- Training (LST) Wk7 10/20/21: Day 43. 💧Plant is looking much better overall. Leaves are getting the green back slowly, not that it matters much at this point. Buds are getting very fat and crystaly, and the smell is getting more intense each day. If the buds keep growing, I can see this yielding a bit more than originally anticipated on Day 34 10/22/21: Day 45. Not entirely sure what is going on, the plant seems to want to go yellow still. The buds still look good, so I'm not sure if they are just sucking out the nitrogen. Buds are fattening up at a fantastic speed. Everyday I see them a little bit fuller, and more covered in trichomes. Several hairs are starting to turn red, which doesn't mean a whole lot just yet. I am anticipating at least another two to three weeks before it's ready for harvest, but it might be sooner. I'm not in a rush, as it will still be curing a while before smoking. 10/24/21: Day 47. 💧The smell is incredible, becoming more potent each day. It's now noticeable right away after opening the tent, and not just when buds are rustled. I can see the buds slowly getting darker. Not extremely dark, at least not yet. It looks as if it will be a beautiful looking bud once it's all finished. Watering is becoming an everyday thing, so I will go back to the juice container of water. 10/26/21: Day 49. 🍃Removed a few more leaves, mostly the dying ones, and a few more to open up light to lower buds. The amount of yellowing is still confusing me, as it should have at least subsided by now. A good test of the genetics, as it's still going strong. The next run will be a much more controlled run, with proper nutrient dosage at the right time. I'm amazed at how fast the hairs are dying back, what once contained a few red hairs, now has a nice covering. Still plenty to go, since I won't be harvesting this one early. Two more weeks minimum, unless issues arise.

26/09 The second week of vegetation has begun, the sprout feels super great, I buried it 2-3 cm, so it looks a little shorter. I will start fertilizing from about the 15th day, until that moment I just pour water with the addition of Piranha 2ml / l, today I poured 10ml from a syringe around the sprout and today it stood all day without a cup under full light Tonight I added to the AD Piranha solution more nutrition for these mycorrhiza fungus in the form of Bud Candy. And carefully poured 5 ml of the solution 2-3 cm from the sprout on one side. Perhaps this will immediately help develop an excellent root system. I continue to occasionally wet the ground for it so that it would be more humid around it, since I have a fairly strong lamp for such a grow box, I think that it can be hot, although other plants felt great at this stage 30/09 Last night I poured her compote with Piranha and BudCandy 2 ml / l each, poured about 500 ml into her eye and lo and behold, she responded with rapid growth, she adds very much every day. I will try to alternate watering with ordinary water so as not to overfeed. And super genetics, she is gaining the thickness of the trunk already!
