Man! I am definitely hooked on my new hobby. Harvested 96 grams of smokable bud and 93 grams of bud/leaves that I will be using to make dry ice hash. Took a third of that second weight (31 grams) to account for pure bud (which is more on the low end) and added to my 96 grams of good flower to get the 127 grams total. Made plenty of mistakes that I’m sure dropped my yield, the biggest being the lighting situation. Plants grew right into my light and even got bleached. The height of the plants made the outer colas grow past the high light areas, which made the buds very airy. But overall it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot of things, some that I have already incorporated on my second grow. And even with my drop in yield, I still ended up with more than enough flower to last me to my next harvest, so this was a great grow for me. Thanks to everyone who followed, liked, and commented. We had rain in morning Day 1 and the previous night. Early morning Day 2, around 2-3 a.m., we had thunderstorms with strong winds and heavy rain. Afternoon Day 2 the sun came out. Despite the 5% rain forecast for day 3, we had a thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind. It lasted about a hour. Then a shower in the evening, thoroughly soaking this pot again. Day 4 we had plenty of sunshine and a nice breeze. Day 5, 6, and 7 were sunshine and breezy. I added 2.5 ml of ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil on day 1. I added a second dose of 2.5ml ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil top dressed in day 5 for a total of 5ml/gallon of soil top dressed for the week. I added 1.3 ml/gallon of soil(10ml) blood meal top dressing on day 5. I watered til runoff on day 6 and again day 7. The ferrous sulfate really began working day 6. The plants are beginning to appreciate the nutrients in the soil as they've grown and iron and nitrogen become available. The rain and cool nights these plants have endured are very challenging for cannabis. This plant surviving and thriving through the weather and user error proves how resilient these fastbuds genetics are. Overall the week was a success and next week will be much better.

Reasons for dimming light! As they start to mature dimming of the light for 2-3days is needed. They are getting bigger! Will have to raise scrog net soon for support 🙏🙌👍 14/08/2024 Lights On! Increased light to 490watts! Mid-day! Video 60fps FHD Light needs turning down Dimmed backs to 420watts!

Week 3 Flower – Gelonade Run (Week 7 from Seed) The Gelonade girls are entering full flower mode, and both phenos are thriving beautifully. Stretch is nearly complete, pistils are bursting everywhere, and structure is stacking just as expected. Both are now standing proudly at around 80 cm tall and enjoying their rhythm. Growth & Flower Development White hairs crown every top, a sure sign of transition into proper bloom. The stretch has given them elegant structure, spacing out their nodes, and now they are setting the stage for bud building over the next weeks. Pheno #1 is strong, symmetrical, and classic Gelonade – exactly what you’d hope for from this lineage. Pheno #2, though… she’s the unicorn. Her leaf mutation continues to be one of the most fascinating traits I’ve ever seen. The way her leaves open like layered fingers, folding and unfolding in unexpected ways, is pure art. It’s as if nature decided to write a little love poem in her leaves. Different, unique, and unforgettable. She carries her own beauty, a reminder that not everything perfect is uniform. Environmental Conditions Still running a little hot in the room (peaks up to 31–32°C), but airflow and extraction keep them happy. Humidity is stabilizing better now, averaging around 50–60%, and VPD is gradually coming closer to target. The TrolMaster sensors continue to keep me on track with moisture, EC, and conditions, making sure the girls stay balanced. The plants stopped growing in height and are now in FULL FLOWERING mode. Every day more and more flower clusters appear and start to build colas at the sidebranches now. The trichome production is also in full swing, the plants get stickier every day and smell DELICIOUS. The Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have a sweet sandelwood-smell like the AK-47 but also with peach undertones from the Barbara Bud in it. I LOVE THE AROMA!

This week has been cold in the grow room with day time temps at 16c and night time around 12-13c. Growth this week has been quite slow and I wonder what has the biggest impact on growth rate. Is it temperature, light intensity or soil moisture levels? I've had the light at 25% since germination and wonder if it would be beneficial to start increasing the light levels or wait until they're more established before doing this. If anyone happens to read this and has thoughts about how to encourage faster growth, I'd be interested to hear.

This strain likes to stretch a lot so in full swing. Bottom leaves crumbling and turning brown/ yellow. This is in a shared autopot base so increasing nutrient dosages throughout.

WEEK 6 Things are going wonderfully with my plant. Thanks to LST, I’ve managed to create a really nice, even canopy, and the plant is already blooming actively. I expect a solid stretch in the coming weeks, and I’m curious to see how it turns out. If things keep progressing like this, it’s shaping up to be a truly great grow. Aside from that, I watered once and fed once this week. The plant seems to have responded very well to the switch to Plagron nutrients. I’ve also set my light to 500 PPFD this week.

Smells like Rubber bands coated in a berry sugar or berry sryup very interesting on the nose! Harvested day 67 ish maybe a couple more hard ot tell outdoor Split the harvest into drying buds and some to made into fresh frozen hash. i can dry weigh the fresh frozen buds and put that weight in the wet section and i will put the to smoke buds in the dry weight section so total between the two will be the whole plant Drying was a big mishap got condensation around day 10 of drying and it caused some mold 🤦‍♂️ right around the time i was going to cure! Found a peroxide soak that ill post butt it seemed to take off all the mold without affecting tricomb heads! Had to re dry for another week afterward i feel like the re dry maybe messed with the terps because it definitely never got the smell back like i thought but who knows slmost 3 weeks into cure coukd get better but doubt it

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. The plants are starting to fill out now. I'll flower them for another 2 weeks, and I'll flush them for the last week. Still disappointed with the amount of resin crystals they seem to not be producing. Yeah, they've got some but is it enough to get me high? That's the question that I'm asking myself. The description says up to 25% THC, but I'm not seeing that amount of resin crystals for 25%. But the plants are growing well. Still a lot of white stigma's going on some plants. But some have finished and turned the stigma's an orange/brown. I'll flower these plants for another 2 weeks and I'll flush for the last week before harvest. Ever just listened outside at midnight on new years eve. I've heard, people beating pots and pans, fireworks, hoots and halers. car/truck horn's, ship horns/whistles, train whistles. It lasts for about 15 mins and then it's quite again. OK. Have Fun on New Years Eve. Be safe and don't drink too much. Chuck.

This week was all about recovery from all the cuts and bends. The lights were turned up to 6, and set a little higher. The light is about 24 inches from the canopy.

Still really enjoying this lady 😍 into the second week of flowering and I'm seeing the start of a large amount of bud sites, 6/7 of her 10 top budsites looking very promising, hopefully within 2 weeks we should see alot more pistals I can see this grow going over schedule by quite abit with the extensive training she has been put through to produce her 10 top budsites. Overall really happy 😎🍁💚🇬🇧🦍

She continues to develop nicely. Unfortunately I managed to break two more branches, from both she recovered instantly and the branches started to heal already. (Need to be a bit more careful going forwards). The quick healing I would either account to the genetics, but would also contribute it to the rizothonic from canna, as her root system is also a lot further than the plants I grew before. She already smells super strong, can bare keep the tent open for long.

2 Girls 1 Cup week 8 is it?? Looks like GC is on week 4 still 🤣. Day 49- big defol on GC tonight, mild prune on the right side also. Few strategic plucks on WG to help share the light evenly. My fingers are sticky asf and STINK like lemon/lime and gas. Changed RES yesterday, modified week 3 GHE bloom medium feed. Breakdown as follows: 5 gal tap/RO 20mL calmag Micro - 26.5mL Grow - 26.5mL Bloom - 41mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1148 @ 5.63 ====================================================================================================================== Day 50- where to start.... fuck.. well, i was wondering if my TDS was accurate or not. never checked it against another meter until today... and lets just say its been OFF the whole damn time!! i tested it against two other meters. one cheapo from amazon, and one from a zero water pitcher. TDS reading from each in order from current>amazon>zerowater.. 930, 642, 616. checked online and they are all on the 500 scale. so i dialed the "current" meter back to 616 to match the brand new zero water meter. never really trusted the cheapo amazon one TBH.. went ahead and topped off with 1.5L and gave them a 1/1/2 mL shot of M/G/B to boost the RES numbers a bit. currently sitting at 662 @ 5.84. so i guess GHE calculations havent been anywhere near the ballpark like i thought. maybe they were using the same damn meter i have currently, set EXACTLY as far off as mine was from factory 🤣. IDKWTF happened there, but its a good thing i started light and worked up following their signs. even though the meter was off, it was still giving me information that was useable. should have left it where it was, but my OCD would haunt me until it was adjusted. plucked a few on WG tonight and left my fingers sticky and stinky. GC keeps stretching, refusing to hit full flower still.. Sorry Herbies, i know you all exaggerate the finish times... but come on now lol... theres no way this one would finish in the time they state online.. FastBuds Wedding Glue on the other hand... she may be short, but shes STOCKY. she'll just get fatter too. who knew i liked fat chicks?? ====================================================================================================================== Day 51- few plucks here and there on WG. have to be careful now because these leaves are what's going to last the next few weeks. Can't take too many, can't leave it closed up. Since I won't be able to flush, i may do a multi harvest on WG and give GC a lil more time to hurry TF up and do her thing. I hate waisting... anticipation is building for the end. Not only to see these girls come to a finish.. but to set up the new system "correctly". Ends up being once a day. One top off calmag'd water, one calmag'd water with a 0/1/2mL (M/G/B) per L added. Gave em a .5mL bump of M today since I've only been boosting it with G & B for the last 2 days. *edit* my dumbass forgot to set timelapse interval from 3sec to 45sec and the vid is 1.8gb long.. going to just skip today's footage. ====================================================================================================================== Day 55- GC is trying to catch up from the looks of it. It's like 3 weeks behind schedule 🤣🤣. Was going to defol the shit out of it again, but may leave it for another day or two. Once it takes WG's sun, it's getting snipped again. Didnt take a pic so I'm leaving it up to my memory. kinda accidently, purposely, tripped and precisely stabbed the main with some pointy tweezers... about half way in, and may have accidently twisted a bit before and while pulling it out... oops.. what's a lil more stress on GC right?? Maybe I'll have to trip every so many days and see if it has a positive effect 🤣. Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.
