- Week 7 - ----- Day 43 ----- Fed 1150ppm @ 6.4ph 23 Liters. Hard to get above 1200 ppm now. More molasses being used, maximum Koolbloom dry powder as well. Tropicanna Glookies is starting to turn purple. Wedding Cake is fattening up FAST More photos later this afternoon mid light cycle. *Update* Big bulk phase is 100% on right now. Wedding Cake is thicker than a tall can of beer in 4-5 nugs easily. Tropicanna Glookies is sweating out trichomes and getting super sticky while slowly turning purple Great things await for these 2 ladies over the next 20 days. *Update* 2 close up shots of some purpling on the Tropicanna Glookies. ----- Day 44 ----- Here's a video. slow easy day of nothing ----- Day 45 ----- I see a tiny bit of yellowing at edges, nothing serious. I don't have to feed every 2 days now anyways its slowed to 3. I top off the ones near turgor pressure loss levels ( I check my whole hand down side of pot for moisture now) with tap water when needed today. Tomorrow will be feeding ~1000ppm most likely due to using Diamond Nectar chelating nutrients with large amounts of blackstrap molasses when combined and left in the reservoir before use. This seems to drop the detectable ppm even though it retains a high level of nutrient content... with Cal/mag (1-0-0) and KoolBloom Powder which is like a 0-30-40 its wildly powerful. Back right Tropicanna smells like Pineapple Sour Patch Kids without the sour. Its insane. I wish I had smell o' vision for you folks right now. Wedding Cake is like sugary sweet but weed esque... earthy esque type of thing. Not the Tropicanna... Shits fruity like kool-aid. Nugs are getting humongous and its pretty fun to watch it fill in, I had a low level anxiety of it never "Filling" in... but yea it's day 45 and look at Big Bertha... nearly dwarfing my fat ass arm... wild shit. Feel like these ladies have at least another 14~ days on the lower end. Wedding Cake should finish a week after Tropicanna... Trying to grab Wedding Cake "indica" tendencies and max them by going for 40-50% amber, 60-50% cloudy trichomes with under 2% (like literally 1-3 clear per 60X magnifying pic) clear trichomes. Tropicanna only 20% ish amber until clear is only about 20% of trichome and cloudy makes up roughly 60% of total trichome finishing... ----- Day 46 ----- Easy day Fed 1050ppm @ 6.4ph 13 Liters only. I want the root zones to dry out more and quicker, less chance of mold and other root rot issues. Cutting watering/feeding in half now but will be feeding prob twice as much. Buds are fattening FAST and are turning purple. Looks like I got the purple pheno Wedding Cake. Woot. ----- Day 47 ----- Easy day Buds are gettin freaky. Really poppin out now. It's quite awesome to see. **Update** *** HEIGHT CHANGE EXPLAINED! *** Took the Tropicanna's off the pot risers I DIY'd and brought them to the floor. Gives light in between the 2 plants at the side and also helps remove any light burn on the tropicanna, as I have been noticing a very slight tinting of too much light in the central part of the tent. Plants look incredible, tiny bit of tip burn but im not too worried, I'm feeding 1000-1200 ppm at the moment. Speaking of which, fed some tap water, 500ml each, they were dry enough to warrant a turgor pressure loss top up. Feeding tomorrow. Will do the same this evening. Tomorrow feeding going to go to 16 Liters instead of 13 Liters. I'm lazy and don't want to water daily. Plants look phenomenal, buds are getting massive. The Wedding Cake on the left is throwing out paintbrushes thick of pistils, it's quite insane. Gonna be a hell of a plant around day 63!!! Day 53 i'll start checkin trichomes and start posting x20-x60 shots.

Fast Buds Originals White Widow 5 weeks of flowering finished 18th Jan 2020 I call this girl stinky as that is exactly what she is... Very stinky 😅 I'm serious , she reeks of a skunky like smell that seems to assault and entice your nostrils at the same time 😆 She is also the tallest of the Originals I'm growing , so watch out for that if you are planning on growing them indoors. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Another new grow and like the OG kush, trying something new with this grow, by flipping to 12/12 for a week (without bloom nutrients). Also with this grow and the OG kush, I'm switching to the coco series nutes, as they have higher P & K values than the non-coco line up.

This is week 4 around day 22 a few more days and flower will begin. I didn't want to push them to far to the edge of my 1.5 mx 1.5m space because of the restriction of the 600w hps flowering set up.

She is on a 12 /12 light cycle as she is in a tent with some photo period sisters that are in flower at the minute. So she won't have such as good a harvest if she was on a 18/6 light cycle.

Week 18 (30-6 tm 5-7) 30-6 Temperatuur: 31.4 graden (licht aan) 22.5 graden (licht uit) Luchtvochtigheid: 69% (hoogste) 50% (laagste) Ik heb de trichomen bekeken en heb besloten haar nog een dagje langer laten staan. Watergift: Geen. 1-7 Vandaag heb ik de trichomen opnieuw bekeken en die zien er goed uit! Veel cloudy en best wel wat amber. Ik hou echt van deze trichome foto's, echt mind blowing hoe dat er uit ziet! Dus vandaag gaat de schaar er in! 2-7 Ik heb besloten om een wet trim te doen zodat als ze droog is ze gelijk in de cure pot kan. Geloof het of niet, maar ik ben wel 12 uur lang bezig geweest om alles te knippen 😅 Op 1-7 ben ik in de middag begonnen en in de vroege ochtend van 2-7 was ik klaar. Het natte gewicht van de buds is 283 gram, en het natte gewicht van de trim is 61 gram. Ik ben nu al super tevreden met het gewicht! Dit is meer dan het dubbele aan gewicht vergeleken met mijn eerste grow. De buds zien er ook echt mooi uit. Ik schat dat het tussen de 50 en 75 gram droog gaat zijn. Ik ben benieuwd, nu een paar dagen drogen! Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.4 graden (hoogste) 21.2 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 59% (hoogste) 42% (laagste) 3-7 Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.2 graden (hoogste) 21.5 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 50% (hoogste) 41% (laagste) 4-7 Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.1 graden (hoogste) 22.1 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 53% (hoogste) 46% (laagste) 5-7 Na 3 dagen is ze droog genoeg om te curen. Wel heb ik iets te lang gewacht want de LV in de jar geeft nu 57% aan. Ik hoop dat dit over een dag wat om hoog gaat. Nu een paar weken curen en dan kom ik met de rook verslag 😁 Ik zal binnenkort ook even berekenen wat de gram per watt is, aangezien ik de lamp niet de gehele grow op 100% had staan. Het droge gewicht van de buds is precies 75 gram, en het droge gewicht van de trim is 19 gram. Samen maakt dat 94 gram! (De trim gebruik ik om een CBD cake of bubble hasj te maken) Ik wil iedereen bedanken voor het volgen van dit avontuur! Tot de volgende keer!

Week 3 = Defoliation!

Espero que anden bien amigos!, yo ando con poco tiempo (créeme que me encantaría poder cultivar y vivir de esto😅, pero esta complicado), a lo que este diario se refiere, he aumentado dosis de fertilizantes, con un ph de 6 -6.1, aun no he vuelto a medir drenaje, las plantas vienen respondiendo bien a pesar del bloqueo que ha tenido, pero prometo en el próximo resumen cargar estos valores. This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.
