Hi all another week done strawberry banana still hanging on ill chop her tomorrow though and hang to dry for 5 to 10 days but other plant well thats a different stroy i chopped that bitch down and dried it all lasted 6 days drying between 16 &21 degress a few warm days but nothing to mad and 55 to 62% humidity now its curing in cvault containers no smell of hay at all jst pure sticky and opened container to weight it and wife screams down stairs about the smell of house I wouldn't say it was out of container and on counter top for more than 3 mins and she roaring over smell so hopefully that a good sign 🤣🤣66 grams dried. Now to my one criticism to myself the buds are a bit airey compared to what I was aiming and hoping for did I do anything wrong or will they dense up in curing process or do they come out same way they went in either way tho im well happy with my first run at this plus strawberry banana a much bigger plant buds look much denser and frostyer so dying to see what grams she gives out when all done Thanks again all Keep grow and blazing.

A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

My first seed didn't make it due to technical difficulties, so I popped another to try to maximize the output from the mini machine. She is growing well at day 7. Seeing some leaf curling from her adjusting to the environment, but she is still showing steady growth. She is a week behind the 2 plants that were originally germinated. She will be topped around day 10 or 12 as soon as the third node comes up enough to pinch off. I started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irrigated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They've grown and grown since the last update so much I had to raise the greenhouse. Cinder blocks under the frame gave me an extra 16in. They're growing probably a foot of week and still reaching for the stars. I did switch to Athena's Bloom A & B and P&K booster this week giving 5-10ml per gallon. I really couldn't be happier with how they've grown up to this point. All in all Happy Growing.

Alterno riegos cada tres días, unos con abono y otros con agua. La próxima semana, elimináremos Bio Vega.

Pretty much all the colas are foxtailing. I also just found out my landlord is selling the property and there are a bunch of people coming through for various reasons over the next few weeks. I just gave the last feeding, next week will be just water.

Smell diffrent, look amazing. I put some new stuff from GREEN PLANET -nutriens and microbs. I put too nutriens for leavs from OPTIC FOLIAR Cleaning box with alcohol "IPA" 99% 🤮

Beginning of week 11 Flushing her this week just pure tap water again to help get rid of the last of the remaining nutrients and salt build up that may be present. Checked the trichomes and they are very nearly ready, mostly cloudy with a few bits of amber here and there. Colas are quite dense and the biggest is at 16cm circumference. The leaves are literally falling off daily. A sure sign she’s maturing. Throughout this grow I been worried about high ppm run offs due to nutrient lock out, heat stress and this lady hulkberry has still managed to produced lovely looking buds. This strain I want to grow in my green house in the summer I reckon she’ll do great in there. I will definitely get this strain again. Nice one RQS. I can’t wait to chop her...she smells mouth watering like a fruity berry scent with that undeniable hint of diesel. I can’t wait to taste her.

Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

Hi all, Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Thank you so much for your all support on this bananas journey 💜💚💜💚 Week 12 Jan 1 - Jan 7 I am so happy seeing how my girls are developing. All it's going great. 2 waterings of 8ltr on 03/01 no runoff and second on 06/01 9.5ltr! Runoffs PH at 6.2. Purchased larger dehumidifier and installed on 03/01 instantly humidity decreaseed from 55-59 to 50-55 on avg. and at night from 62-69 to 54-60. Light from 01/01 on max power output 110 watts. Nutes slightly adjusted. Buds on both girls gaining size, weight. Trichomes on Athena mostly milky and clear with only very few ambers. Xena mostly 50/50 clear and milky, They are smelling gorgeously, not sure if I should smoke or eat them first. Next week will still feed with nutes and keep an eye on trichomes development but it seems that girls are not in a hurry at all. That's okay me neither 😁 Stay tuned for next week entry very soon! Just doing its thing. Ive topped the main stem twice and 1st nodes once. Showing asymmetrical signs which il have to adjust to. The plan is to allow a decent veg, im not in a hurry. Also want to play with some grafting, wont learn if i dont try. Cheers fellas, enjoy

Beginning of week 7, It’s always cool making it to the point where you can smell a strains unique flavors. The scent is still only minor, but coming in. Any LST at this point is just small re-adjustments to branches that have already been tied down. But overall it has its final shape. While smaller than I had originally hoped, going to do what I can to get these buds as fat as possible! At day 47, seems the runt of the litter is finally showing some formed buds, as well as some purple tint. The plant that started mutated, while still odd looking, has the frostiest leaves and largest branches so far. It’s now the end of week 7, time has been flying by the past couple months. The plants are mostly their final shape and structure, now it’s time to watch the bids pack on weight. The one runt plant is maybe a week or two behind the others, but I’m keeping it going because why not!

The week has passed really awesome, a big height growth, thats is bad in my case, but will see to what it gonna lead, last very hard defoliation has been done as well, cheers! ;)

Week #9 of flowering is done, great week this week, still inching closer and closer to harvest day, all of the ladies except for the largest will start their flush today, I’d like to push that out to atleast 10-14 days if possible, this will insure I get a beautiful fade into harvest as well as mouth watering tastes and aromas coming off this flower, however with using final phase I’ve learned I can execute a proper and tasty flush in just 7 days if needed. Everyday I feel the smells are getting more and more intense becoming a hassle for my 4” carbon filter to keep up. Hopefully we continue to finish strong this last week or two! It will be exciting 😍
