Hey everyone, We are still tugging along. She is starting to make her buds now, I fed her some microbe life and other than that not much going on. I’m super happy with how much she stretched and is drinking a lot more now. Excited to see how it ends up.

Double Smile #1 was harvested on the 23/09/2022, her trichomes were 10% amber and the rest were milky. She had faded out a deep dark red/purple and was coated in a layer of thick frost. She’s currently drying out at 58%RH - 17*C. Chopped off the main fan leaves, but left everything else on for hopefully a slower dry. Double Smile #2 is still maturing, il keep my eye on her, she could potentially have a few weeks left. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

Hey everyone its the final week for this beauty.what a pleasure to grow she was and i will grow this strain again for sure. She drinks a whole lot less then before and the trychomes are turning amber and the rest are milky so she will be cut some where on the end of this week. Day 6 - all is well with both plants. Organic molasses teanyo be used going forward to increase sugar and flavour

Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

Girls are going into preflower, gaining a lot of height. Working on my IPM outside. So far so good. They hate the 100+ heat but they recover each night.

07/12 Ding Ding! Starting week 4 by watering 1.5L after 7 Days. The 1 Liter from week 3 really did a number on them. Theyre still growing fine! The Afghan Kush got stripped naked and bent over. The Blueberry is a tad behind, im just gonna let her ride a bit, see where we go from here. LST got adjusted for both of them. Light is also up to 20/4 with roughly same DLI Watered with 1,5L, 2 ml/L rootjuice, letting it fade out, probably giving one more time next watering then stopping. Activera and grow stayed the same at 2 ml/L, microbes again at 0.4g/l. Starterleaves removed from both plants. More pics to come the following days! 13/12 After the week: Didnt get around to edit, also due to the fact that my raspberry pi was acting up which took me a good 12 solid hours to fix (i say fix, what ended up happening was i wiped the SD card and set everything up again lol) Blueberry is growing nice and bushy, but i left her mostly alone. Afghan Kush is doing fine as well, though she skinny. Both are growing steadily but compared to my last run, they slow. Im still happy so far! Removed some inward facing stems on both plants. Also, both are confirmed to be female. Added timelapse, and see you all next week when we probably head into flower!

Bueno arranca la semana con pocos cambios en la disposición de las cosas, se ve el rostro de la floración… una crece y se desarrolla más que la otro, se ve que la izquierda siempre inspira más… mantendremos la solución a 1.2 EC el PH siempre a 5.9. Por el resto todo va igual, dejaré el filtro de carbón activo para las últimas 4 semanas. Esperemos no haya mucho olor por ahora. Iré actualizando novedades en un par de días.

Halfway through week 3. Both the girls have been transplanted to their final 5 gallon smart pot home. Soil medium is no longer a Light Warrior/Ocean Forest blend; it’s just Ocean Forest now. I don’t think that soil will be too hot at this point. Both plants are on their 4th node, I want to top at the 6th node so hopefully next week. Plant 2 has far more internode spacing even though both plants the same distance from the light. Plant 1 is developing 4 leaves so the fan isn’t symmetrical. Otherwise healthy. Leaves were droopier than usual today which might be transplant shock or I might have overwatered their new homes. Will add more to this week at the end. Love feedback!

I proudly announce: 🙌" Day 1 " 🙌 Sie haben ihren Tag 1 am 22.12.2024 um 04.20 Uhr gestartet. Das kann doch nur geil werden !!! Die Systeme sind mittlerweile gut eingestellt und auch das etwas laute Gluggern habe ich in den Griff bekommen. Jetzt sind die Systeme vom Geräuschpegel nahezu gleichwertig. Die Nährlösung ist dieses mal von Anfang an stabil, da ich die Eimer, den Blähton und die Steinwollwürfel alle vorher in vollwertiger Nährlösung eingeweicht hatte. Ich habe sie dann über 2 Tage noch nachregeln müssen und ab dann war der PH-Wert soweit stabil und ich konnte die vorgekeimten Seeds in die Würfel werfen. Mit dieser Methode fühle ich mich dieses mal irgendwie etwas "sicherer", aber mal schauen, ob sie dieses mal anfangs trotzdem wieder etwas durchgemangelt aussehen. War ja leider bisher immer der Fall. Links die Black Orchid, in der Mitte die Junge Lava und rechts dann noch die Black Dog, so ist der Lageplan. Viel Spaß beim lesen und Bilder schauen. Time for the stretch! Lots of flowering growth happening now. I can see where the bud spots will be so I’m going to have to stop moving the branching around in the Scrog, also the branches are getting thick and less pliable.
