They are all becoming beautiful beast ladies and im loving them all in diferent ways , so far the mor advanced one is the somango followed by the water melon followed by the no idea what it is seed and in the end e have bruce banned, im loving t he fact that they all started same time and that they all are going to finished different, this means i will be trying me second harvest plant smoking my pervious one 😝 . Fed/watered with 1 gallon of the above listed nutrients, every 3 days. (when the growing medium becomes 95% dry) Gave her a light selective de-leafing, to open up the inner bud-sites to more light. The timelapse shows me why I won't be transplanting like this again. (Slow growth/lost time from constricted root mass)

COntinued to apply small amounts of pressure with LST but aside from that, letting her do her thing. Had to leave her for a few days and she got dehydrated, after a feed she perked up again but she's now started sucking all the nutes out of her lower growth. 21.03.2026 Little Buku is enjoying her bigger 11l pot with good nutrient rich soil. She is looking good. This week i am going to low-stress-train her. And she has a ladybug buddy now. The air humidity went a little up, to 40% . Still not perfect, but better.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Put a selection of my own seeds s1's apart from red/purps red Russina Cross straight into soil and mist sprayed them with ph 6.5 water it took them 3-4 days to pop up but all popped up with 12 hrs of each other 🍾.

This was an easy to grow varietal for me... Plant was extremely stable... Great flowering time period 8to9 weeks... Other phenols took longer... Will keep this cutting fo good

Day 51. Growth: The girls stopped growing vertically and are between 62 and 75cm. Theyre all frosty already so im guessing theyll be frosty girls once they have put on weight. They arent looking healthy and i fucked up this week :( Ill explain everything down below. Training: Selective deleafing (cannabalized leaves) Nutrients: Ok so i had some ph issues last week and flushed as soon as i could( had to wait for soil to dry) I explained this in depth in last week's diary. Anyway, they got flushed and finally fed them 3 ml of canna terra florres 2-2-4. And next feeding will be 1ml of Canna Mono Calcium 15% and 1ml of Canna Mono Magnesium 7% Issues: The soil wasnt completely dry yet when i first fed after the flush but the girls were suffering and begging for theyre first dose of flores. I also carefully gave a foliar feeding to help her a bit during her flush instead of cannabalizing the shit out of theirselves. According to the time I have set on the timer the girls shouldve had 2 more hours of darkness after the foliar. Turns out somehow my timer wasnt set the way i left it and it ended up burning a few leaves, luckily it was a big foliar feeding. I must of bumped into it when setting up the tent. My dumbass shouldve checked the timer more often and im so mad at myself for letting this happen. Environment: So the ladies have a new home, a 27"×27"×63" tent. I didnt expect them to fit properly but it did!. The tent is definitely full. But i dont think ill run into issues. Right now i have a 150m3/h filter with a 185m3/h fan. The temperature and humidity is under control for now. I do have a little bit of positive pressure in the tent but not enough to inflate the tent, the room doesnt smell so im assuming no air is escaping from anywhere other then the exhaust. I will be updrading the inline fan and filter so i dont run into heat problems

Don't have a lot of time these days to take pics so I'll sum things up. CO2 got outta control and the plants took tf off literally. The video is around middle of week 3, I had to flip at week 4 BC I literally ran out of room and I had to constantly defoliate.

Day #24 I gave her some water although she wasn’t asking for it and did not absolutely need it . I will try and wait until she’s positively thirsty before I water her again. My tent humidity has been dropping as the pots dry out but when I check the moisture levels it shows “normal” also as my pots dry out the ph of the “medium” has risen to 6.8-7.1 . Deeeeeeeep at the bottom of the pot it is 5.5. I’m curious about the fluctuations of “soil medium” . Thought to check the accuracy of my ph pen today before watering & discovered it is out of calibration 2 weeks after initially setting it up . I think I’ll look for another PH pen that I can rely on however I’m glad I had the foresight to acquire ph solutions to be able check the accuracy of the calibration of my pen. I don’t want to feel the need to recalibrate before each use nor the desire to check the accuracy each time which is why I sprung for a more expensive pen this time rather than a “ super value “ ph . Back to the drawing board to find a better product . I am still happy with the performance , accuracy & reporting of my smart hygrometer. I am very glad I sent back the original one and replaced it with a competitor brand . I’m wondering should I be getting ready to give her a top dressed feeding in one week . Orrrrr will I wait until she starts showing hunger signs . I premixed more than the recommended amount of plant food when I transplanted her from her starter pot day #9. I’ll think on it a little more. Day 26 Update: She has EXCELLENT structure without any LST, Topping, or SuperCropping. Ponytailing has definitely brought out great growth. I’m a little sad. I believe that I’ve misused the total flower time of the 3 autos finishing in this tent. They have all been in flower since week 2 & 3 of their life . They are currently in weeks 7 & 8 of their life. I was thinking an 8 week flower but these look as if they can go 12-15 weeks. Sooo put simply, these autos may remain in my 5x5 the entirety of my 3 month vegging of “Cellie” Cereal Milk by RQS. The best shots will come once the tent gets harvested & she gets scrogged down . I’ve plucked 2 fan leaves finally although I really don’t want to defoliate any yet . Her lateral growth shoots are healthy and tenacious. I’m super happy with the number of arms & equality of height in the arms . I may eventually be interested in topping this naturally bushy plant . I really want a dramatic filling of this tent so I’m encouraging an over abundance of multiple branches. Branches that I will eventually tie down . Day#28 Update: she finished the week well & is becoming voluptuous . Given her majority indication indica leaning pheno is taking up this Gaia Green like a champ & I was questioning just how tall I think she’ll grow before growing/being trained to grow as wide as the tent . She may be a squat but wide bush 😂 . It’s too soon to tell, the lights are still between 40%-50% & watering is only sparingly as needed the last watering age received was day # 24. Give us a like. Week 5 has began !

Week 14 in the books and all is going well. She continues to put on weight and density and smells absolutely amazing. A kind of earthy fruity aroma that I know will press into the excellent tasting rosin dabs. I've given what may be her last feeding and will start checking trichs to gauge how much longer she has left. I've done some light defoliation this week to promote light penetration and am very surprised how even the lower nugs seems to be fattening up into something impressive. A good thing since I didnt really lollipop her. Seedsman genetics really are nothing to turn your nose up at. I'm thoroughly impressed and have no complaints with this how this run has gone. I also have to acknowledge the switch to organic as a huge step forward in dialing in my grow. I just couldnt seem to get nutrients right with mineral based but have had no issues with any of my girls since switching ti BioBizz. Top notch stuff, I must say. I'm hoping we are nearing the end of this run as I cant wait to get her curing and pressed into something I can dab on as we roll into summer still in lock-down mode.
