Little bit of a delay. Wanted to get climate perfect before the flip. Upgraded ventilation and have the tent dialed in well at 74 degrees and 60% humidity during day and 70deg/ 55% at night. Started a second scrog on Day 42. Nervous about the stretch but hopefully I can maintain it (I wish T5 lights could flower...) Did extensive trimming underneath clearing pretty much anything that will never reach the ceiling of green above it. Day 45 marks last day of Veg Day 46 marks first day of flower AND. HERE. WE. GO.

--- It's over, now it's time to harvest. Two very different phenotypes will soon be tested in the vaporizer for their taste, aroma and effect. Even if the smaller of the two plants could perhaps have stood a little longer. There was no more room in the tent and the top bud of the large Runtz started to burn. I don't think such different phenotypes are suitable for a SOG, but the situation is different with cuttings from them. All in all, uncomplicated plants, but I never got the thrips completely under control. This was my first indoor grow and I realize that my grow box only has room for one plant if it is to be a beauty queen. At least I managed to get some nice leaf coloration on the larger plant. You can see the wild, impetuous growth in the pictures. Thanks to Zamnesia for letting me try this strain! I still have a few seeds for further grows. Many thanks also to Plagron for the flower fertilizer. I would never have believed that such thick flower bulbs were possible before this grow. I wish all the other participants in this contest a successful conclusion and a good harvest! P.S. When I look at the frostiness of the buds as they grow, I get a bit scared...

i know i know, i promised to harvest this week, but to me they just don't seem ready yet! Although i harvested the main-buds from the LSD and put the other buds with the plant into a vase in order to let her ripe more, i want to harvest the other plants in one piece. The Peyote Critical will be the next one, in three days or so, i'm just waiting for her to develop some amber trichomes and the lower buds should ripe some more. The blue gelato could be harvested in a week or shorter, she seems damn sticky and rock solid! Shiskaberry need a week or so, some pistils are still white and trichomes are pretty glassy at some points! Srawberry lemonade will need one or two weeks, trichomes are glassy, but leaves are already yellowing, i think she will taste bests because she took so much nutrients and is now losing colour already!

Grow Diary – Day 73 (Flowering Day 53) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom Date: May 24 (Saturday) Status: Entering final ripening – harvest approaching At Flowering Day 53, the Sour Frootz plants are now in the late flowering phase, showing strong signs of maturity. Buds are fully formed, tight, and heavily coated in resin. Trichome development has peaked visually—most heads are now cloudy, with a noticeable rise in amber trichomes, especially on upper colas. The aroma is intense and complex: sweet, citrusy fruit mixed with sour funk and subtle earthy undertones. The terpene expression is at its most volatile, and the flowers are sticky to the touch. Some larger fan leaves are beginning to fade, showing natural senescence—primarily a gentle yellowing, with no signs of stress or deficiency. Nutrient Program: • Still running Bio Bloom, though it can now be tapered or discontinued if you plan a light flush. • Bio Grow is no longer active at this stage (breakdown complete), but residual nutrients are sustaining the plant. Watering is now more moisture-controlled to avoid excess humidity near dense colas, reducing mold risk. Additional Notes: • No pest pressure • Canopy is stable, buds are weighty • Lower humidity maintained (~40–45%) • Good airflow across and under canopy • Natural color fade beginning, especially on fan leave.

Welcome to week 5 of flower. Trichome production and the density of the buds is really starting to accelerate. My dehumidifier is not stable, so VPD ranges from 1.2-1.4. I lightly defoliated 31/10 and last watering was 6/11 👽👉7/11 The day after watering and the day my timer messed up my 12/12 schedule. But hope it brings no problems. I defoliated lightly and only removed most under the SCROG line. Even a couple of underdevoloped branches that stretched below SCROG-net got cut. 👽👉8/11 Their smell is starting to get more extreme. 👽👉9/11 I removed a bit of the bottom foliage and cleaned up the dead leaves. It has been really tight around the SCROG net, so it was highly needed for airflow and humidity 👽👉10/11 Waterday* ml/L change from last watering - to this. BioHeaven 4 > 4 BioGrow 4 > 2 BioBloom 3.5 > 4 TopMax 1.5 > 4 Calmag 0.5 > 0 Rootjuice 1 > 0.5 👽👉11/11 Amazing growth in thickness and they look alot more frosty today! 👽👉12/11 Same story as yesterday 👽👉13/11 Today should have been waterday, however i was missing some nutrients so postponed till tomorrow 👇_____________________________________________ Flowering feeding recommendations: Early bloom: 5:7:10 Mid-bloom: 6:10:15 Mid–late bloom: 4:7:10 BioHeaven The NPK ratio is 0.91-0.18-0.24; BioGrow The NPK ratio is 4-3-6. BioBloom The NPK ratio is 2-7-4; Topmax The NPK ratio is 0.1-0.001-0.1; Rootjuice The NPK ratio is 0.1-0.1-0.1; 👆_____________________________________________

This was a very stressful week as there were too many variables at play all at once; even my camera refused to cooperate for the first few days. The freshly transferred plants were starting to droop and I was unsure if it was transplant shock, nutrient burn, or because of the incomplete grow tent. My first batch of nutrients were mixed into a gallon bottle and was weighed by a friend using his scale; this set was enough to last weeks. For this new batch however, I didn't have my scale and used the table spoon as my measuring tool; needless to say when my TDS meter finally arrived, both runoff and the remainder of the mixed nutrients read 2800. Fortunately my light setup seemed to be inefficient still and the plants weren't drawing much nutrients and only ended up with a very light burn on the older growth. All pots were flushed back to recommend levels and the light lowered until the lux values read appropriate. This week ends my daily comments and I'll stick to this end of the week format going forward.

I fed her some molasses last weekend. Personally I never really notice much difference after feeding molasses but I still try feeding it 2 weeks before harvest anyway. I have beed giving her just water since then. Going to flush real good this weekend, then let her dry out til the following weekend when I am going to harvest her. That should put the harvest date right around 1/27/18, which would be a full 3 months of growth - seed to harvest. The Blue Mammoth has been just a great plant to grow so far. I did not do anything to her except some defoliation. No bending, training, topping, etc... And she looks awesome in my opinion. She's bigger than the Girl Scout Cookies I harvested a few weeks ago, which yielded 2.6 oz. Looking forward to harvest, cure and smoke👍

FEEDING As previous weeks, plant was given nutrient solution twice a day in the concentration down bellow -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.8 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->0.6 mL/L -    Calcium solution-->1 mL/L I started with 5L of tap water measured at 240ppm. Then added Calcium solution from gardening store and ppm were around 500. Then Flora series nutrients were mixed in and ppm reading was around 1000. This is to high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 800ppm and ended up with 7.5 L of nutrient solution. Plant was given a total of 12 L of nutrient solution every day. DIARY Day 105 I did some defoliation on the lower branches...nothing too serious, just the leaves that were in contact with the soil. WEATHER REPORT Day 99-100 It was mostly raining these two days. On day 99 we had some hail to, so the plant had to be moved under the roof. Day temperatures were 25 °C, night temperatures were 18 °C Day 101-105 Weather was sunny all the time. There was some raining going on during one night. Day temperatures were 35 °C, night temperatures were 23 °C.

Day 21 Shes looking a little better as her new growth is much better but shes still lacking some colour hopefully soon she will full take off. Turned the auto-pots + air-domes on to get water and oxygen directly to the roots 3 days ago. Feeding Cropsalt at 5.8ph, really enjoying it atm just look at their colour😍

Day 58 : Performed what might be the last big LST session, to make the plant flat as much as possible. The last one, because I'll start flowering on next week 😁 So I believe that all next LST session will just be to keep everything a the same eight, but I will not force the plant to be flat anymore. I was also supposed to apply black soap for the last time today, and continue with water for one or two weeks. But i saw one thrip, so I may continue for one week, and apply only water later. But the plant isn't showing any signs of bugs bites, so they are under control I believe. I also got one bottle of biobizz leaf coat, that I'll apply later ;) Damn.. I'm so excited to start the flowering :D She look verry great right now, I'm verry confident with this plant :) Taking care of it is a pleasure, even if it take me one hour to apply LST 😆 Day 60 : Watering and feeding plant, and applied black soap for thrips. Day 61 : Did some Defoliation : Removed dying leaves not receiving light. Day 62 : Spray water + Fishmix (1.6ml/L). This is going to feed the plant by the leaves, and also clean leaves from any thrips. Haven't seen any thrips since like 3 days... But you know how they are ;)

It’s been a long road to this grow. I had a little hiccup and broke some branches by dropping my phone on my plant while recording.

A tad late, but on Dec 20th we started flower! The pics and video are all from dec 20. To kick it off we did a small feed (1tbsp) of veg nutrients and over the next few weeks will transition to flower blend. So far she's taken well to the training and looks very strong overall. Cheers til next time -Dj Sunstone
