d43 - 9.26 - Recovering quite nicely. Was able do just about all the training and trimming I want to before I switch to flower around the end of week 8. My Fast White Widows are definitely more ground hugging, while the Black Sugars are reachers, but still manageable. They have all been trained to best fit the recovery of each individual plant, so my canopy definitely isn't going to be even 😅Nonetheless, grateful they have been resilient little buggers and happy for the chance to take them flower, regardless of whether I'll have the picture perfect tent. 🙏 D47 - 9.30 - I lied. I had to train a little more. One BS cola was really outgrowing the rest, and the opposite side of plant had taken for damage from bug treatment two weeks ago so i HST'd it back and spread the other. Still planning to flower them in 7-14 days!

I have her nestled in between a bunch of other autoflowers that are one month old now so she's got lots of company! Since sprouting the Zkittlez has bee doing exceptional, with good color and vigor. I was a little concerned about her when she first sprouted as her first leaf set had a funky color to them and I feared that she wouldn't survive. But low and behold, when she opened up her leaves they turned a beautiful green and she's been looking healthy ever since! Today I gave her her first water/feed with 20oz of well water with a base ppm of 100, to which was added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g. After adding the nutrients I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉ 11/10- The Zkittlez is doing really well in her little Popcorn Bucket! I didn't water her today, but will wait until tomorrow to avoid over watering her. 11/12- Yesterday I went ahead and watered/fed the Zkittlez with 20oz of well water with a base ppm of 100, to which was added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g. After adding the nutrients I ph'd the solution to 6.0 @ 75℉. The Zkittlez Auto is doing great, has good color, vigor and already has her third leaf set emerging! 11/14- Today when I checked her pot the Zkittlez auto was still pretty moist so I'll be waiting until tomorrow to water/feed her. The Zkittlez Auto is doing fantastic without any visible health issues, has good color and now has her third leaf set almost fully emerged! Well it's been a fun week watching this little girl grow and the coming weeks promise to be more exciting as they pass and she gets her groove on! Hello GD Crew!!! I’m glad to finally be back with a new diary. A LOT has happened since my last diary. The large room I was using back then got infested with spider mites. For a while I thought I had them beat, but they came back with a vengeance. So I thoroughly cleaned my 2x4 tent and set it up in the opposite side of the house. However, that part of the house is also now my new man cave and was under construction until a few months ago (its still not completely done yet, but close enough). I have also switched back to LED lighting. I’m using a pair of Spider Farmer SF1000’s (100w) LED’s. I was using a 315w CMH fixture but felt I was getting better results with my old blurple ViparSpectra’s (both of which have died). Also, it was getting too hot in the tent with the CMH. To be completely honest the best weed I’ve ever grown was using a 1000w HPS, but that could possible melt a 2x4 tent and I’d be tripping circuit breakers all the time again. After a lot of research it looked like the Spider Farmer SF1000’s were the best bang for the buck in the LED market these days. They have the right components (Samsung LM301B diodes and MeanWell drivers) and have great specs. I was able to purchase them on Amazon Prime Day for $129/each (USD). For soil I’m using Coast of Main Stonington Blend Grower’s Mix. I had been previously trying to amend and reuse old soil or mix old soil 50/50 with new soil and in retrospect that was a mistake. The PH was totally unpredictable as were what nutrients were available or deficient. I felt like I was always trying to fix soil problems and one thing would lead to another. So, from now on its fresh soil in every pot. I’m using 3 gallon pots with self watering reservoirs at the bottom. In addition to the Coast of Main Stonington Blend I’m also using Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. I filled the 3 gallon pots with the Coast of Main Stonington Blend first, then dig out a hole in the middle about the size of a grapefruit and filled that hole with the Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. Then I planted the seeds about knuckle deep in the middle of the Seedling Mix. This seemed to work great, both pots had small seedlings appear in 5 days. This diary will focus primarily on FastBuds BlackBerry, but I am also growing a DinaFem Critical+ Auto at the same time. I’ve grown both of these strains a few times in the past with mixed results. But, I’m hoping this grow will be far greater than those in the past. My plan is to allow the Coast of Main Stonington Blend act as the ‘super soil’ it is supposed to be and not add any additional nutrients. I will however be adding RealGrowers Recharge on a regular basis (I love that stuff, it really makes a difference) and will probably also add some CalMag once in a while. But that’s all. Additionally, I do not plan on doing much training with these girls. I will LST bend them over at a 45 degree angle around the time they hit their flowering stretch, but that’s all. Bending at a 45 degree angle gives better exposure to lower branches and allows those lower branches to produce larger tops. Hoping for the best!!! Please feel free to comment and follow. Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

Let’s go day 72 from seed!!! Another great week it’s been , 2 Ogreberrys an brucy b been flushing for a week, an the 3 others will continue to get there normal feed of nutrients, they are just not quite ready so they will start getting flushed around next week!! Sweet sweet smell of Grapes And gooey frosty nugs is all I can really say, photos do no justice, some of the craziest fruitiest smelling buds I’ve ever had, Real High quality meds !! 10/06/2018 Love how she looks don't know why? Just nice stacking of buds no mold issue, smelliest plant early on, and still is stinkiest. I can not wait for the first toke, to see if I made the right choice. See if it is worthy of the name (Ghost 👻 Walker) or stay GTH X SKYWALKER #5?
