So, they’re still growing vertically, again, I had to go away for 3 days. Not planned. Tops got too close and a load of them burnt to a crisp, the seriously burnt ones have been cut off and the other ones that weren’t too bad have been bent down. It was 14 inches when the plant was flipped, I reckon she would be around 48 inches now if I didn’t have to hack at her. But disappointed as I reckon she would have been a beauty. But... life goes on and I’m sure she will yield alright when the time comes 4ish weeks time. Literally the only problem this week has been vertical space, plant itself is very healthy. Next time I better get a taller tent 🤦‍♂️

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy Growing

7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. 2/3 plants doing good. 1 plant however has a calcium defficiency showing as orange spots on 2 of the fan leaves.i have added 2 ml of cal mag in with their new nutrient feeds to help offset. I have been watering normally without nutes for the first 3-4 weeks. The defficiency has resulted from me using soft tap water which contains very little calcium. Since adding, no new spots have appeared so fingers crossed Only using half reccomended dose of nutrients at this point to ease them In to feeding

Last week I fought some yellowing of the leaves. Did some small adjustments on PH to keep it in the 5.6 range. Seemed to stop it from progressing. For Week 3 Veg I topped the plants. I plan to flip the lights at the end of week 3 and move into flower. Lights are still at 25% power Day 17 Leaves are getting darker. Everything is looking good. Day 18 Turned room temp down to 73F from 76F. Fearing it is warming up my res tank too much. Day 19 Starting to get yellowing again. checked everything and can't find a good reason for it. Did notice some cloudiness in my res tank. Added 2 ML/Gal of peroxide. have Hydroguard on the way to help. I'll be adding more fans this weekend. I have light air movement currently. Also found a few spider mites and sprayed Greencleaner to all plants. Current environment settings: Room Temp 72.74 F Room Humidity 63.63% (After spraying, Trending down). Room CO2 589PPM Tank PH 5.718 Tank PPM (500 Scale) 813 Tank Temp 74.5 F Day 20 Recalibrated my EC probe just to be sure it was also accurate. wasn't off by much. Dialed back my flooding to every 5 hours to encourage Rooting. <-- Strong roots = strong Plants Sprayed for mites again.

Growth: The ladies are 29 days old today(#5 23 days) and are all shooting pistils. #5 just popped her first pistils. I think they are starting their stretch. I upsized pots this run so i hope the ladies will fill their pots. Training: This week ive been a little rough with training. I had #5 tied down on day 19 and broke off a few nodes of the top. She didnt seem to mind, i guess you can top this strain early on with great results. Day 19 is way too late so im not not getting my hopes up. In the pictures you can see the difference from day 19 and today. I also broke a branch on #1 but was fixed with some tape. Day 49 to 56. I'm not going to hide that I'm in a hurry to finish the run. The mold arrived at the end of bloom because of me, it's depressing... Thanks for your comments these last weeks. :) This 8th and last week of bloom for the Kum Zuat 1. I continued to rinse the plant all week with power clean at 5ml/l. The Kum Zuat was harvested at 56 days of bloom with 1 week of rinsing. I still found some mold on some buds of several plants that I immediately removed. My yield will be affected, I still have this pretty Kum to cheer me up! All the photos and videos on this update are about Kum Zuat 1. The other plants have been fertilized normally for this 8th week, you will find them in pictures next week. I enter the 9 th week of bloom and I have 4 plants left which will be all cut on day 63 of bloom also with 1 week of rinsing. 1 kum zuat 1 kosher cookies 2 gmo x animal cookies Can't wait to start this new run.... Natures living soil is literally the best soil, atleast for me, my plants look so good and smell amazing!!! Ran out of space on the gmo tho and had to upgrade my tent to 8 feet, it was my first grow and looking back I could see all the mistakes I made, it was a learning experience though, definitely prepared me for my next run....definitely got some gasssss tho 💯💯💯

End of week 9 flush week, cut the blueberry ladies and put them in the mesh drying rack. Will update in 2 weeks with first smoke and dry weight, assuming she's dry in 2 weeks. Flush week for the Super Lemon Haze, she'll get chopped this coming Sunday.

This was my very first indoor grow in my cupboard with my 1 strain Do-Si-Wine and the other 1 Sunset-Sherbet. Growing the Do-Si-Wine was very fun and this strain especially is also quite tricky to LST because during the Vegetation the plant grows long and slinky, because of this I experienced a snap on week 6. (Here are my notes of the 6th Week) 30th September 2020 ( 11cm in height ) The Do-Si-Wine is growing very well, a very moderate growth as it says in it’s subscription, but none the less still a very beautiful grow so far. The bottom 4 colas are all stress trained to the edges of the pot to ensure each branch from each cola gets to grow outwards in its own space and to get more light. The stem is about 0.7cm thick which is not that thick compared to the SunSet Sherbet. While writing this I noticed my she has SNAPPED from her previous stress straining session, I was checking out the stem thickness and noticed the main stem had snapped. But luckily this is not the first this happened and I know how to fix this. To fix this all you need is some tape, now see if the plant didn’t completely break off you can still tape the plant back together and the plant should heal itself within a few days, although I need to wait a bit before I stress train this one again. She started making pistols🤗, but I’m not sure if this is because of the snap or if it’s getting ready to start blooming. All the side branches from the bottom 4 colas are all nice and long growing at a nice rate. The leaves are nice and strong reaching ( 11cm in length ) My experience from growing Do-Si-Wine 🎶🍷 from Cape Ape Seed seed bank is very good so far, on the site it says moderate growth difficulty and it is quite accurate compared to the Sunset Sherbet’s easy growth difficulty, it’s quite fun working with a moderate growth because the plant needs more tending to, for instance the side branches are thinnish and need to be stress trained often to reach the end of the pot, the plant is also very stiff because she snapped without me realising and had to tend to the break a day later. Also while growing this plant I noticed that the plant’s leaves are very dark green and the bud it’s going carry is going to be white so I can’t wait to see how she makes her buds. (Notes Done) So when I harvested on the 29 December 2020 (Week 19) I have definitely learned a lot about this strain, this strain is extremely exotic and is impossible to find and growing this strain was such a blessing as well being able to smoke top shelf exotic weed straight out of your Cupboard
