This girl is happy. I have her inside as I'm out of town right now. Am I landlord suggested that lol .. sorry for the late update. I will be doing more regularly updating. I'm just extremely exhausted. Have had a crazy two weeks, probably the craziest, two weeks in my life..

Quick germination. Put seeds into a cup of purified water, let soak for about 12 hours (until they sank) before placing directly into medium. Used smaller containers in the beginning, with zero amendments added to the mixture. Transplanted into permanent home before roots reached the edge, so there was no delay/shock involved.

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

Week 14 Day 92 | 22/07/2022: No time today Day 93 | 23/07/2022: Watered the girls today with just 1.5L of water. The temperatures have dropped thankfully so it's not too hot for them now Day 94 | 24/07/2022: So many trichomes on these girls, the buds are looking white! Just a few days left! Day 95 | 25/07/2022: The trichomes are looking amazing on these girls! Shame they won't be able to get to their full potential since most of the hairs are still white and the trichomes are still mostly cloudy, but I am really looking forward to trying them! They smell like a fruit juice or something :D Also I decided not to water them anymore so they can dry up a bit before harvest in 3 days! Day 96 | 26/07/2022: Day 97 | 27/07/2022: Day 98 | 28/07/2022: Today was the big day! (for the girls and for myself) So the only thing I did was tidied up the foliage by removing all the fan leaves, cutting the girls at the base and handing them in the tent. I find that the remaining leaves really help keep the moisture at a higher level and they tend to smell less like hay. I will be leaving the girls to dry for about 10 days, and then I always put them into glass jars to cure! I really wish I could have kept these girls growing just for another week because most of their hairs are still white, but unfortunately i had no choice and this is still more than good enough. Let's hope the genetics make up for it in the smoke!

Moved to veg/auto tent. Gave tea yesterday and it is taking off. Topping soon.

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Defoliated and given the last nutrients before harvest, planning to cut in roughly 2 weeks. Depending on weather conditions and trichomes. Bud shots are the best of each strain. Mango Kush: has the most buds overall. Some of them seem a to be not very dense though. Little whispy buds start low on the branch and then progress to some fat tips. White Widow: seems to have denser buds but much less. The plant has always wanted to go straight up and has very rigid branches. This strain should probably get training early on to maximize bud potential. Green Crack: has big buds at the tip of each branch but they aren't very long. Though the buds seem very dense and heavy.

Welcome in official week 5 of flower 🙏 We are in a cruise control mode now. Removed most of the fan leafs from upper parts of the plants and now it’s just time to wait watch and enjoy. All energy is now focused on developing buds and I really like what I can see. Maybe they are not the biggest plants in my history however they are the most healthy ones. This week we are adding overdrive to feeding chart 👌 EC this week around 1.8 every 56h and 24h pure water pH 5.7 - 5.8 Stay tuned!
