***** Week 10 growth - February 6 to 12, 2021 - Week 1 Flower *****
Here we go.......on to flower now. Last week was transition week and bud sites are setting on the girls now.
Lights flipped a week ago to 12/12.......typical flower.
Stretch is starting this week now. Last week was marginal height growth.
Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 1 again this week. Next week will move up the ppm more and start on bud enhancers. More microbes and sweetener this week. Silica ppm also increasing now as not looking to bend branches much more now.
Have a hole in the canopy that I am just going to need to live with. GSCHB and MM2 did not growth as expected. They are not reaching up as tall as the others and stretch is slow. Not looking like they will catch up in next couple of days☹️☹️☹️
Little more detail.......
Feb 6/21 - Day 1
- been drying for 2 days now so water day with some supplements
- 3L each girl with CalMag @ 2ml, AN B52 @ 1.5ml (using up an old bottle to finish), Enzymes @ 1ml
- 575ppm and 5.9pH
- Need to start increasing silica. Using up some B52 which has some silica in it.......and other vitamins so its all good😀
Feb 7/21 - Day 2
- Leaves up today and praying nicely.
- CL1 is going to sleep earlier than the other girls and is droopy early in the evening.......root issues or too much light??
- CL2 is looking very good. Leaves are cupping nicely and buds forming nicely.

- stretch is going now and the girls are growing hard
Feb 8/21 - Day 3
- Feed day again, going to stay with week 1 flower nutrients, same as last week.
- IPP Grow @ 1ml, Micro @ 2ml, Bloom @ 2ml, Black Storm @ 3ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, B+ @ 0.5ml, Red Sun @ 0.5gr, Carbs @ 1ml, Natures Candy @ 1ml, Piranha @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml.
- 4L for each girl.......yeah, took a little longer to mix up this feed😀
- 1350ppm and 5.9pH
- no run off from the girls today......little light on the water, they should have had 5L each.
- last feed with bud starter, Red Sun, next will be Bud Fusion for bud booster next week.
Feb 9/21 - Day 4
- no run off yesterday so adding more water today......plain tap water.....no additives
- 5L for each girl. 225ppm and 6.0pH
- good run off today.
- CL2 is really looking good.......beautiful leaf colour and nice amount of stretch right now.
Feb 10/21 - Day 5
- Nothing today......watered two days in a row
- ready for more silica!! Branches need to firm up.
Feb 11/21 - Day 6
- Recharge arrived today!!!!!! Time for more microbes and sweetener😀💪
- purple stripes on main stems so adding more magnesium through Epsom salts
- 4L mixture for the girls with Epsom Salts @ 0.5Tbsp, Silica @ 1.5ml, IPP Carbs @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1 tsp
- 1,000ppm and 5.9pH
- different microbes now and excited!
Feb 12/21 - Day 7
- Nothing again today.......give them watering tomorrow morning.
- Wondering if their leaves are a little dark........consider bring down ppm next week.......it was hard this week at 1300ppm........water is 250 on its own so around 1100ppm nutes added.
Looking good ETS......different phenos coming out a little different but it’s week 1 flower😃

So Melon Gum finished. This was not one of my better grows. I had root rot in flowering. This really messed up what she could of done. It was a 17 week grow I still got a harvest. Thank you Pure Instinto, Athena, and Spider Farmer. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱

Rainbow melon has stolen my heart From day one the plant was bigger as nice strong stock handles low stress training well some of the biggest buds I’ve ever had. I am truly in love with this plant fade is absolutely one of the Most beautiful like an Indian summer Cannot wait to see what they come up with next💪🔥💯

The review is finally there. I structured it in a new way. 4 categories, all count equally for the final rating. Growth, buds, taste and high. That are the only categories that matter for me. It was a funny journey and I learned a lot. The nutrients from BioTabs are absolutely amazing an I am very glad that I can work with them in future grows. I had no issues when it comes to the nutrients and the resulting product is top notch. Was a very easy process too. I am a huge fan of dry amendments now and will continue with BioTabs.
The yield of this strain or this particular pheno is out of this world. Because of the stretch I only was able to run the lights at 70 % which is approximately 70 W. In the VGrow with a grow area of 0.16 m². And I pulled exactly 100 g dry buds out of it. That's a wopping 142,9 g/W or 625 g/m². Insane. These Jet Fuel Gelato crosses from Compound are insane yielders, if you're looking for a lot of stank per grow, this is a legit breeding line for that. But be wary of stretch.
For my next grow I chose a breeder that I have already covered. I am still in the search for real dessert terps because I want to build up my palate. For that, one needs to taste every kind of weed and since I am really intrigued by sweet, creamy and spicy smells as well as tastes, this is the logical next step. The new seed is already popped, which means the new diary will start soon!

Welcome to my FastBuds GSC grow-off diary! I plan on growing 2 seeds from the same package - one using a 950ml Gatorade bottle dwc system, and the other sharing a 64L reservior DWC. I'll grow them both while trying to be as simiar in techique as i can, but i'm more interested in how the 950ml does, so might not be super picky about doing things exactly the same, heh.
I'm making this all up as I go!

Week 0
======
Day 0.1 - 2 seeds in water for 24hrs
Day 0.2- 2 Seeds in wet paper towel, in a plastic bag for 24-48hrs until taproot is out
Day 0.3 - 24hrs later - one seed has sprouted a tail
Day 0.4 - 2nd seed sprouted tail; put both seeds into rockwool
Day 0.5 - 1st seed sprouted from rockwool
Day 0.6 - 1st seed doing well, 2nd seed no change
Day 0.7 - Checked 2nd seed and hasn't budged, so it's a dud. Started a new seed (had 3 GSC, so all good!)
Day 0.8 - 1st seed into the 1L DWC bottle!
Day 0.10 - 3rd seed germinated - into rockwool to sprout.

The reservoir below is 19L (~15L of solution) with a small 80gph water pump on lowest setting, which will be on a timer for 15 mins every 3 hours (at first - we'll see how that goes).
The water pumps nutrient solution up to the Gatorade bottle and the overflow goes back down into the reservoir.

70 Days have passed since I started this diary 😏. Its week 10 and she has reached max level. I've started flushing 3 days back and gonna continue till the end of next week. Gonna give her a trim soon so the the sun can shine on those smaller buds for just a while. Time goes so fast :)

Buds are stacking real nice and the trichomes keep coming like sprinkled white snow. I cleaned up the bottom one more time. the purples colours are starting to show up on the upper leaves. I will be top dressing this next week and it will be the last before harvest.

Day 42 - Ladies are growing great, some are growing a little faster than others but all in all very happy with this run so far! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱
Day 43 - All of these ladies expect for 1 white widow & 1 orange sherbet keep having problems, yellowing leaves, rust spots, not sure if it’s me or what the issue is considering 2 of them are doing great😬😬
Day 44 - Watered the ladies today, going to give them some calmag next watering when my new PH meter gets here!
Day 47 - Buds are starting to get much bigger on a few of the ladies & a lot more frosty!😍

Another great looking plant from Barney’s. Everything from them I have grown has been strong and large and I would say very much commercially viable. I’m sure you could grow 20-30 plants and get a really good pheno with good structure and it be dank.
Some breeders you could grow thousands of plants and never get one with good structure. That’s not true with Barney’s they have really good genetics

Hey everyone!
It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball!
The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56!
Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle.
I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now.
As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box.
How I built my smell free DIY dry box:
Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying.

Ciao a tutti! C'è stata un'accellerata imprevista e così mi sa che raccoglierò una settimana prima del previsto! Tra 3 o 4 giorni taglio tutto! Ho svuotato completamente i vasi e ho messo solamente acqua liscia per far sì che le radici scarichino bene tutti i nutrimenti ancora presenti. Devo registrare purtroppo un piccolo problema di muffa, dovuto sicuramente all'umidificatore (purtroppo ho dovuto tenerlo acceso per tenere bassa la temperatura) in quanto si è formata sugli 8 apicali della pianta più vicina ad esso. Ho dovuto purtroppo tagliarli e buttarli via quasi per intero, ci avrò rimesso una ventina di grammi, anche 30. Post memoria per me: l'anno prossimo a luglio non devo avere niente e iniziare il ciclo a metà agosto con le temperature più accessibili. Comunque sta andando benissimo a parte l'imprevisto, non vedo l'ora di raccogliere e fumare! Ci vediamo la prossima per l'ultima settimana 🤣🤣🍀🍀💪🏼💪🏼

The plants are thriving in their 4th week of flowering, and I couldn’t be happier with their progress! 🌟
Adjusting the nutrient mix for the coco substrate has really paid off, and both plants are responding beautifully.
The trichome production is impressive on both, but interestingly, the plant without LST is slightly ahead in development compared to the LST variant. 🌿💨
The buds are forming nicely, and there’s already a noticeable aroma in the grow space. It’s predominantly sweet, with hints of something deeper starting to come through. 🍭✨
So far, everything is looking on track, and I can’t wait to see how they progress in the coming weeks!💚💚💚

Primeira semana de Flor BEM agitada.
Plantas Crescendo MUITO rapidamente devido a maior quantidade de luz, maior volume dos vasos e ao stretch natural do período.
Tive que instalar a grade para poder espalhar os ramos da planta e aproveitar toda a luz disponível.
Utilizei arame recozido para fazer uma grade rígida que depois pode ser usada como base para treinamentos futuros.

Day 29 of vegetation:
raise the humidity to 60%
trichomes on the leaves can be seen with the naked eye. I have never seen trichomes appear on vegetation before
Day 31 of vegetation:
remove 10 large leaves and made an LST. Now literally ALL the lower leaves receive 100% of the light
After 35 days of vegetation, the plant looks like it ready to start flowering.
Watering volume week 5:
Day 29-35 - 400 ml per day

The harvest wasn't the biggest. But high quality. I will increase the light density by adding CFL to the grow room. And test the nest grow how much I can push the yeild.
