XL is just about finished now cloudy with a few amber trichs and stems are struggling to hold their own weight up so I started the flush yesterday with aspirations to pull her in a few days . She’s just a beast this girl incredibly phat dense fruity buds with a real kick in the chest on exhale ( yes I’ve expressed dried a few nugs , I don’t care what anyone says I love smoking a bit of fresh weed ) , some of these buds are gonna be 3oz each dried it’s the epitome of an XL strain . Like I said a flush this week then she’s out . I couldn’t get her out for pics or to take pics of the orange coz the XL is just weighty and starting to bend under her own weight …best problems .

All three seeds popped so I planted them into some 5 gallon fabric pots. Have them all just plain PH water (1 gallon for all three). First grow using coco so wish me luck

Harvested the compton qoolaid at day 71 had about 25% amber and 70%milky had a wet weight of 440grams of flowers..cut light back a little bit was a little high evenbthough dli on paper was good. Day 73 on other girls and Mullberry is really fattening up on her flowers, and the blutane is full of dence huge flowers. Starting to fade a little gonna guess around 2 more weeks for both. Started to just give water this week. will include pics and final weight next week

Not much to report here been watering every 4-5 day to keep a good dry period to try and promote some trichome production without much succes on #1. I am now starting to think, it might have been a bad seed (Genetics) that i got. It have certainly been a big experience to grow my first seeds ever and to get an okay result out of it so far. Been keeping Nitrogen use down to a minimum. Been flusing my soil plants for the first time at the middle of this week

Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.

Destiny has given me a wonderful climate so far but from the 18th the weather will change completely, precisely in the last 10 days of flowering which fortunately is very accelerated by the anomalous heat, especially at night. Typical late summer weather here, kinda for weed. First storm is expected on Saturday, I'm ready to protect them. I've made the last rearrangement of the tent, trying to give more room to the vigorous and overflowing Pineapple Kush so I've rised the roof to 110". The plants are all carefully sprayed with thyme extract to control mites infection, it seems to work, infection is stable from 1 week. I kill manually 20/30 bedbugs a day. During nighttime, maybe a monster grasshopper, is munching some leaves, at this point I don't care, I have to defoliate anyway and these bastards don't chew buds, for now. She's flowering fast now, I hope she will finish before October rains. Every side branches is thicker as the sister's main branch. Expected harvest time october 1st/2nd week. This will be a hard challenge to complete flowering without mold issues. If she doesn't gave to me at least 2lbs of weed, I'll kill her. It’s been a rainy week but these girls are just a project I’m not stressing. The shorter females were replaced from males so it’s girls only from here on.

So the weather has finally cooled down and it has rained for the first time in weeks. The buds are all developing nicely and fattening up. The buds are ripening well and harvest time will be coming soon. The older leaves are starting to yellow and the first signs of senescence are showing as well. The plants are all sticky and smell very nice. Looking forward to the end result. Happy growing.
