The plant is now focusing 100% on bud development and trichome production

pretty easy week again. The purple haze plants got moved up front after they got the leat strip. Smallest plants in the tent and they were in the back, now there up front where I can take better care of them. The buds are starting to develop and are looking nice. Can't wait to see how they turn out. Happy growing

What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!

Hola familia, siento la ausencia estos últimos 8 días, pero estoy de vuelta, estás misty gorilla auto de Zambezaseeds, están fenómeno, ya empiezan a desprender aromas, y eso es agradable, espero que engorden más estas flores por lo demás va bien, entonces la temperatura la mantenemos por debajo de 26 la humedad por debajo del 40% , sigo alimentando las con Agrobeta, por supuesto, os voy adelantando que va a ver muchos cambios cara al futuro y para bien, os iré diciendo poco a poco. Un saludo fumetillas y buenos humos.

En esta actualización se incluyen 2 semanas ya que por trabajo me fue imposible añadir la semana anterior. El día 15 de Agosto recibió la segunda pulverización de Bacillus Thuringiensis para prevenir el ataque de las orugas. Sigo alternando riego de agua un día con riego de Ascophillum Nodosum al día siguiente. He dejado de regar con Cannazym.

Como podemos ver ya todas están para el corte o casi, en algunas tendré que seleccionar el pheno, ya que hay alguna que me gusto más que la otra, en general un terpeno muy diferente en cada variedad y también la calidad de la resina, en general mucha resina, pero por ejemplo he podido observas que los tricomas de la Gorilla Melon son más grandes y se oxidan de una manera más lenta, ideal para hacer extracciones, en cambio, la Reinbow Melon .... ese terpeno dulce intenso tanto que es hasta abrumador...me muero de ganas ya de probarla... la Lemon Mandarín es exagerado el olor que tiene a mandarina si cierras los ojos y ueles fuere parece que te vayas a comer una buena mandarina y la Paya Sherbet tiene un olor dulce y muy agradable, pero nada que aún pueda relacionad del todo..... un saludo y buenos humos fam.

Looks like maybe 2 weeks left

They were all very slow to start compared to all the other strains I grew and seemed to dislike everything I was doing. Real problem children.... They were runty until about the last 2 weeks of their lives, then really packed it on and ripened quickly. I was really surprised they weighed as well as they did, but they all really fattened up with I added the other QB, bringing the total wattage to 360w in the 5 sq ft space. Didn't keep separate weights, but the total was 168g...roughly 40g's per plant. Final thoughts: Of the 6 DD's I've grown over the past couple of years, they are consistently a pain in my ass, and poor-producers.. but it's top-shelf bud. It's prolly the wife's favorite flavor, so I gotta grow a little every season... Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 9/10 Potency: 8/10 Yield: 6/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Ease of growing: 3/10

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Apparently the plants have stopped growing taller and now the buds are going fat which is a really good new :D:D:D - The buds are developing good amounts of resin too The smell is stronger now , i don't what is the smell like but it is definitely nice . Day 72 and according to seed vendor it will be ready between 70 and 80 days from germinating so this weekend i will move it outside the tent to observe the trichomes Day 73 - I moved the plants outside to see how it goes and i have decided to remove plant 1 from the tent(is wich i did the topping) due to small size which made nearly impossible to develop buds. The others are great and the 2 where i super cropped multiple times are mora than 100 cm each so i think their real height should be 120cm in a bigger tent. Buds are going heavy everywhere

Welcome to chop day of my white truffle grow ? She's 16 1/2 weeks old now and had a nice mix of amber and milky trichomes. She's sticky AF and smells great. A deep sweet and earth-ish smell. For the first time I'm trying the drying cycle of the vgrow. Till now the temperature is somewhere between 19-21 degrees and 58-65% humidity. Looking forward to the first smoke of this one.

Super burnt lol. Ooops I'll still finish her off and hope for the best. Should still be some decent smoke 👌
