THis is a strong strain. Grew really fast in the Veg stage. Important to stay on top of the feeding as they grow really fast. I started feeding pretty early and they responded well. I think you could really push these hard without locking them up. About 4 weeks into curing, tried some the other day. Tastes good, smells great, Nice enjoyable high. 4 more weeks and it will be some top notch smoke. For those of you that press this would be a good strain. Sticky, Sticky Sticky!

Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiod plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. The Purple Urkle has just undergone the topping of 8 florets, you can see the 4 fresh florets just cut. So we are at 8 very small branches growing my program for photoperiodic plants is to get to 16 wait a few days and move on to flowering. 16 Tops as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. You are going strong from the beginning there was a bit of a shortage but as I explain this week during the topping everything changes. We are in competitive days, the world lives the competition in a lively way and so if someone were to ask me or were interested which is the best of the photoperiodic plants I have inside for now I would say the Purple Urkle. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the tops to split them, we always take care not to damage the new branches in growth. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and perfectly fit at this point and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now they are a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil and from the start and add nitrogen only if necessary, especially during repeated topping. The day before yesterday was the last time 1 g of GHSC Powder Feeding per L substrate was added :-). That should last to the end now. Of course, she continues to receive GHSC enhancers 👍 every 14 days. The tent was cleaned every day just like the humidifier was refilled every day. Day 47 -55 On Day 46 i switched to 12/12. now they are stretching. This strain stretches very very much. Probably more than double so be careful! U will be able to see the stretch within the next posts. :) I use 3g/soil now and then 1g/soil at week 2 of bloom! At the start of bloom i still put the brenches into the pieces of the net so i maximize the light penetration throughout the bloom part. In a few days i ll stop LST because the brenches start getting hard.

Perfectly healthy maybe not as dark color as the other plant but thata the diversity we enjoy in this sport of growing. Showing no signs of deffinciecies or overfeeding / burning, handled the stress like a true champ!

I provided you with a close up video of each plant and one video where i go through tent and try to focus some nice buds individually. Flushing her for 5 days already with a mild 400 ppm solution of terpinator and mammoth. There she is, the prima donna of my tent, biggest and densest buds, check week one, i thought she was a rotten seed.. Smell is very interesting undescribeable to me i will wait some more time, maybe the moment when i grind her to give the best description.. I rate her 10 days to 2 weeks until harvest, all plants but one automatica are more less coming down in the same time.

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Moved the SCROG net up a bit as I'm running out of bending space and the plant growth seems to have slowed down. Removed more leafs under canopy. Pulled the light up a bit. Increased the watering a bit as the soil is starting to dry up almost daily. So far so good with the overall plant health, let's see in the coming weeks what issues start to pop up :D I removed the fly traps because they were starting to touch the plants but I will likely have to add another one in some better position.

Hey growmies, first week of flower and i pushed my comfort zone and defoliated a lot, I also taken off most lower nodes, as my previous plants have always had a bit too many popcorn buds. Weaved most of the branches through a trellis, I need a better one but it still worked out okay. I will probably be taking off the odd fan leaf every now and then for the next few weeks, aswell as ill try to keep her as even as possible theres very little signs of flower yet, so i think she'll be stretching soon That's it for this week Growmies, I am looking for a reputable seedbank for Black Diamond Kush, a strain I fell in love with after I bought it in a Candy Store in Flatbush, NYC the week I met my Wife, I would really like to grow it myself and chase that nostalgia, If you know of any HMU

This grow has been an unbelievable challenge. From bugs and stretching to other various problems. However I've gotten some great advice and am hopeful that it will turn around soon. :)
