Buds are growing... I'm quite happy about my first scrog...

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. 31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water).

Day 50: Feeding today with a huge shot of Ignite to finish this bloom.....Gonna start going into Overdrive more for about a week before getting ready for flush. My Hellfire OG is beautiful! The buds are so thick and the leaves are sharp. Love the way it looks and have not done much defoliation as the green cracks. With this final ignite feeding, hoping to get my bud locations on the GC. It's a tall plant and the three I have are all about the same with one a bit slow. More to come but hoping to wrap this grow up in the next months and get the Halloween Grow. A bit spooky!!! So it's about 3ish and I'm just staring @ my video feed of my babies! Getting some really huge nuggets sized buds and when I defoliate my hands are a bit sticky afterwards. Cutting some of the lower branches they ozze the carboload and I smile like Pedro'!! Day 51: was suppose to feed but kind of forgot so gonna maybe throw some voodo tab in some water and just let them drink and get some extra fat root development these last 3 weeks. On another note getting my ducks in a row for my next grow. Got a huge bag of Pro-mix HP on my doorstep this morning and my girl was like get your "shit" honey.....so holiday grow diary coming soon with all new strains!!! Day 52: Did a feed last night a few hours b4 lights out. Went with Ignite & O.D. Some of my plants are a ahead of others so figured both O.D. & Ignite. Developing crystals on the leave and making sure to cut the lower branches that are not going anywhere. Threw a picture of my cure set up along with some dealer weed. That is only a 10gram bag so trust me when I say, "this is a game changer!" Day 53: Early morning feeding and laying off the cal mag and senszym and just going with Iguana bloom, carbloader, ignite and OD along with Mikes OG, Bud Factor X. Noticing some of my plants are ahead of others so have been feeding a gallon per plant with adjusted nutrients to kind of match what my girls are doing. My Hellfires are so pretty and the leaf growth is pretty snarky. Just pointed leaves under the bud sight and the fans leave not really big so just trimming as we go. My Green Cracks are budding really nicely. The buds sights are kind of spread out but the buds are getting thicker and growing and filling the spaces. Maybe another 2 weeks before I start to flush and get ready for harvest.

Hello Diary, White Widow has completed its last week, the journey has come to an end. Two days after the photo shoot, I harvested White Widow along with her roommates. 73 days since I put the seeds in the ground. 65 days since the start of the vegetation. Really very fast, although it has somehow become the standard on my small farm. But I am still fascinated by how quickly the plant goes through its cycle when it has the most ideal conditions. I don't necessarily mean myself, I try to give the plants the best I can and know how. As you can see in the photos, the result is impressive, White Widow turned out to be a real beauty. This phenotype painted White Widow in purple. The flowers are hard and dense, the branches bend under their weight. One branch even broke when I was setting it up for the photo shoot. That purple color gives it a special look. Some of the leaves have taken on autumn colors, which is also one of the signs that it has matured. This week I continued to observe the samples under the microscope, waiting for the trichomes to turn milky. On the day of the photo shoot, which was day 63, most of the trichomes were milky, some even brown. The smell is very intense, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box. I barely wash my fingers after examining the plants. Watering was standard, every three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lowered the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. After the photo shoot, she was in the grow box for two more days to drink all the water from the soil so that the drying would be more efficient. Before cutting, I removed all the leaves from the plant to also make drying easier and have less work to trim the dried flowers. But also to prevent the formation of potential mold. After cutting, I left her upside down in the grow box to dry. Now I'm waiting for the flowers to dry well and to see how much White Widow has really rewarded me. See you when that happens. Here's what the last week looked like. 19/09/2024 - Day 57. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the pH to 6.0 and used that amount to water all three plants on the farm. 22/09/2024 - Day 60. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 24/09/2024 - Day 62. I watered them all with 1.5 liters of water each plant so they would be fresh for the photos. 25/09/2024 - Day 63. End of the last, 9th week since Purple Lemonade began its journey. Photos. 27/09/2024 - Day 65. White Widow has been harvested. That's almost all from me for this diary, the final report that follows after drying and testing remains. Thank you all again for your support and comments.

Smoke report! 10/10/20 tastes are tropical with a citrus hint and pine! Also tastes like it has some gas on it too can feel the power in every blast! Feels like euphoric a lot of day dream happy thoughts great for music and day smoke puts you in the best of moods! Not much to say on a negative as it tastes so good your mouth waters lol but could say makes you very very sleepy 😴 thank you for popping by check out them tones and fades 😍 Was amazing to grow! Ran into no problems along the way she literally just grew and grew! She showed her beauty from early and was shining through colours of purple/red even on the leaves! And her smell “oh my” is exclusive like sherbet and citrus and fruit and candy! I’ll add more photos after cure and also a smoke report! Want to allow this to cure about 2 weeks before I even try her!

Day 21 Of flower I did a lollipop / heavy trim (feel like I could have done a lil more) and I have to say I'm running out of room with my lights it's pretty much at 9 inch away from the tallest part of the plant the ppfd high but using a phone app But not seeing no burn on the leafs The intake of water has been up to a gallon an a half (always do some kinda of runoff) pH has been around 6.1 Day 23 Of flower and I added the AC infinity fan (day 1 of fan(actually couple hrs and I think I been missing out on a oscillating fan so get one) still been slowly uping the dimmer it's been getting warmer in the tent so I turned my AC on NOTES: ( btw it's April and I live in a new apartment and pretty much start growing after a month or so of moving in(moved in November started in the middle of January) and seems like this place holds heat so it's going to be a hot summer) but I can see myself down the road getting a (portable AC for the drying if I want to reach that 60°/60% ) plus that dehumidifier kicks off a some heat and my dumbass is growing in the room I sleep in so since all this I've slept on my couch a few times and plenty more to come

6/1 topped all of the mains(about 5 or 6). Shes so fucking bushy its crazy. Each main is branching out more and more at each node. Shes gonna be a huge bush by the end of summer. Also attempted to defoliate some of her more crowded areas 6/2 Shes looking super happy after a good feed yesterday. Responded super well to the topping on most of the mains. Slightly concerned its gonna make her even more thick and bushy 6/6 fed some recharge and slf100

Today is day 57 I flipped them to flower on day 55, responded so well to all the things they've had done, topping, tie downs, defoliations, they look really good especially the bigger of the 2,.. roll on next week

Busy week behind the microscope. The tricomes look clear to me. She ain't ready as yet. Struggling with keeping tent cool due to heatwave and lack of a/c. Nutes solution reduced. Only had base and 4 additives. Later on in the week had another watering at .7 E.C . Flush started on day 50. Final runoff was in mid 500ppm. She's smelling lovely, absolutely lovely. She spent 48hrs in the dark and then chop day. A really lovely plant to grow. Absolutely no worries at all.

All I can smell is Garlic and onions when I enter the vicinity of these plants…. After a few weeks fighting a systemic infection in the hydro system and res the plants have stabilized and are PUNGENT… loudly pungent!!!

Week 5 of veg for this girl she's been picking up some size still the smallest girl but not by much she's deff been growing nice an healthy under this fold 6 from medic grow she's I nice little bush with some big fan leafs Ending week 5 this girl is doing good she's not the smallest one but she's not to far ahead she has been doing great since her transplant into her final pot so hopefully she'll start picking up some size

I got rid of bigger leaves, did little bit of stretching. The plant was healthy, let's see how much it will grow in a month before turning lights.
