Defoliated her a bit. Now I have even canopy but I am concerned if I defoliated too late in the game because this is an autoflower. Only time will tell. Increased her feed frequency to twice a week. Seeing several cola sites. 01/25/23 : Did a second round of defoliation yesterday. She ended up being as bushy as before defoliation. Little concerned that the plant is vegetating but not growing buds. She is about to finish her 7th week. Almost acting like a photoperiod. 01/27/23: Nearing end of week 7. It feels like she is still vegging. I see some flower sites and some pistil hairs but no real bud yet. I am reading that some autos bloom really late. Trying hard to be patient with her and not just flip the lights to 12/12. Will give her couple more weeks to start blooming, if not then I will go to 12/12. The hardest part about extended vegging is light and air management. 😫. Oh the joys of growing your own!!

There is a timelapse of this week, Blueberry is in the background. This entry covers days 30 - 38. This week has seen violent acts. I've topped the blueberry. She's doing well! I've started to give this plant less light so I can give more energy to the flowering GSC auto. I'm not sure how much this will stunt my plant. Lately my feeding schedules for both this plant and my GSC auto are obtained by following the GH Flora Series recirculating feed chart on the General Hydroponics website. I put the amounts they suggest for 1 gallon, but I use 3 gallons of water. So, I give the plants 1/3 of what the feed chart recommends. It's worked well so far. My plants are thriving, and I haven't seen signs of nutrient burn. The only deficiencies I encounter are Cal Mag. I remedy this by mixing in some tap water with my RO water.

So I put the EC higher now I did start whit NPK 20-40-30 EC now at 1.9 this is the first year I use this nutrition but it seems to work great!

Day 13 - Actual start of the Grow Diary today. Day 14 - She is looking good but developed a weird yellow spot on one new leaf. Gonna keep a close eye on it! Hope to get some feedback about nutrition : After 1 plant developed a small brown tip, I started feeding. A total of 116.6 liters of water goes into my system. The feeding schedule says that you should give 4 ml of root juice per liter of water. So: 116.6 x 4 = 466 in total for week 1. So, 466/7 = 66.5 ml per day. Despite this, the differences in root growth per container seem very different. 1 bin was so far behind that I changed them. However, after 1 day a brown mass developed in the roots. The others are still nice and white. Is this already the bereft root rot? I've made some pictures and a video. The first plant in the video was first in the container of the third plant in the video. EC value = 0.6 PH = 6.6 Update 3-5 : After adding more air, problem solved. Need to keep an eye on plant #3. I've put sticks on top of the startblock. 1 stick is plant #1 etc. Plant 3 is behind the rest. Root development also differs from the rest. Instead of a long (about 50 cm) long carrot, they are a few short (10/15 cm). The plant is also significantly smaller than the rest. Can't do much now so, let's hope and see she can catch up.

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good. Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. Very humid week, noticed a green turning colour on top of soils where the humidity has been far to high. I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. All are doing well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. But she'll come around 💪💚 Day 19 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. En esta 7ma semana de floracion, aparecen tonos purpuras, en algunos cogollos. Aroma afrutado..dulce.. según el banco son 60 días de floracion, asique ya falta menos.😅😅
