Week 4 of flower 8/30/24 Defoliated a little for all the tops to get maximum light exposure. Some strange marking started to appear on some of the leaves. The problem was a very high salts buildup in the coco because I watered with almost no drainage for a couple of days. EC 3, in the drainage. PH was a little high but still at normal range. Watered with a diluted nutrient solution with H2O2 (2.5ml a gallon). Waited a couple of hours and watered with nutrients again same day without the H2O2 (usually I water once daily at the start of the 12 light cycle). EC got lower to 1.6 and on the following days it got lower even more to 1.3. The plant seems happy and there is damage only on some parts of the leaves/branches. (seems like the salt buildup was only in some areas of the roots because only specific ares of the plant got damaged.) I like to see the daily progress in mass and trichome production :) Noticed the plant mass increasing daily. The smell intensified a bit I grabbed the leaves I defoliated, rubbed the trichomes to release the oils and the smell was just incredible, It is not fully developed yet so I cannot put my finger on the most dominant terpenes, but I can surely tell the smell of tropical fruits mixed with sweet candy notes are something mega pleasant. Watering with nutrients daily (mama likes to drink a lot).

We noticed this week that she's growing much faster and the side branches too. See the difference between the pictures April 18th - Topping view and April 20th- Topping view, and how much the side branches had grown. Other than that, it was a week without major events :) Sorry again for the pictures under the grow light.

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. Today marks a significant milestone in the journey of my cannabis plants as I have successfully set up the irrigation system. This new development will ensure an efficient and consistent supply of water for the plants, fostering a conducive environment for their growth. Up until now, I've been diligently top feeding the plants since their germination, laying a solid foundation for their root system. As a result, I anticipate that the plants will be well-equipped to adapt to this change and will continue to flourish. The plants have been thriving spectacularly and have demonstrated a clear preference for being dispersed over a larger surface area. I attribute this positive response to the method of main lining, a technique that has proven to be one of the most straightforward and effective approaches I've tried. The anticipation of seeing the final canopy and colas is immense, and I am eager to see how this technique will enhance the overall yield of my cannabis plants.

Right so basically, a week ago today marked a month for these ladies and because I had a broken phone it was very hard to keep up to date with the journal but hopefully now I can keep on top of this grow for you guys. It's been 35 days since germination for the Rhino Ryder and Afghan Kush. I'm using soil from the back garden and now that there is a bit of foliage, with the watering etc. The humidity has risen to a level I'm not happy with to which I'm going to invest in a portable dehumidifier to bring down the moisture in the air. I had to defoliate as it was getting really bushy and the fan was struggling to get air through the fan leaves. I cannot believe the RR, started off as the most finicky plant from germination and now it's the tallest f***er of the 4. She has shot up! I looked at the yellow tips on the leaves and apparently it's a lack of Iron. I read that Iron deficiency can be left to work itself out typically if it's not severe. Usually after a few days after the leaves are left to expand the yellow disappears and they turn a nice fresh green colour. The smell in here is fantastic! Hey now, hope everyone is having a safe week. The Glueberry OG continues to stack on weight as seen in the timelapse with the mains starting to sag as gravity starts to affect the stacking of the flowers. She is still feeding on cal mag, maxi bloom, and Liquid Kool Bloom. I will transition her to the dry Kool Bloom probably sometime this week as I believe she is about 2 weeks or so from harvest. I am planning to harvest her around 4th of July time frame, and then I will start a few photo period mainlines for my next run. She is starting to smell very nice with an earthy smell and a hint of blueberries. I currently have the Spectrum X cranked up to 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 120 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. I'm very happy about how the buds have developed in this 2nd week of flower! The girl stretched a lot this week, about 15cm. The bud sites are a bit too close to each other, but I can't do much about it now, I will have to put up to the extra work when harvesting. She gets fed 6 times a day and she drinks a looot, about 2,8l per day 😮 I'm doing a flush today, the first one, to get the roots rinsed out of any accumulated salts.

Wochenbericht – Pflanzprojekt (12. Woche – 4. Blütewoche) In der zwölften Woche setzen die Pflanzen ihre Blütenentwicklung fort, doch die niedrigen Temperaturen bleiben eine große Herausforderung. Trotz aller Bemühungen ist es schwierig, ein konstantes Klima in der Box aufrechtzuerhalten. Um die Auswirkungen der Kälte zu minimieren, habe ich beschlossen, provisorisch einen Unterboden zu bauen, damit die Töpfe nicht direkt auf dem kalten Boden stehen. Dies sollte helfen, die Wurzeln besser zu schützen und die Temperatur in der Nähe der Pflanzen zu stabilisieren. Leider zeigen einige Blätter Anzeichen davon, dass sie von der Kälte betroffen sind. Dies äußert sich in leichten Verfärbungen und einer geschwächten Blattstruktur. Dennoch entwickeln sich die Pflanzen weiterhin vital, und die Buds zeigen langsames, aber kontinuierliches Wachstum. In den nächsten Tagen liegt der Fokus darauf, die provisorischen Maßnahmen umzusetzen und die Pflanzen so gut wie möglich vor der Kälte zu schützen, um die Blütenentwicklung zu fördern.

Dank des Super Wetters hab ich hier 77%-80% Luftfeuchtigkeit (draussen ist es noch höher ) und es wird auch noch warm . Ergo, schon gestern hat meine Pflanze extreme Probleme mit der Wurzeltemperatur bekommen und hat die Blätter hängen lassen . Ich hab das Licht runtergeschraubt und Abluft extrem erhöht. Ventilation direkt in die Pflanze sonst gibts Schimmel . Aber hilft halt nicht wirklich . Luftentfeuchter läuft auf Dauerschaltung und produziert dann auch noch Wärme, die ich überhaupt nicht gebrauchen kann bei den Temperaturen draussen lol. Ein Teufelskreis :(((((( Day 55: + 1.75 Liter Flaschenwasser + + Dünger für Blühte + + + Canna Terrar Flores (Achtung wirkt wie PH-) + + + Canna Boost + + + Cannazym + + + Canna PH+ + + PH 5.88 Draussen sind 31 Grad , ich hab den ganzen Growroom + Vorraum (meine Wohnung ) über Nacht runtergekühlt so weit es ging (23°C und 22°C). Das Licht noch weiter reduziert dafür näher an die Planze gemacht. Das ist wirklich das mindeste was noch geht. Liegt ca bei PPFD 600 an der Spitze . Wenigstens ist hier die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Rahmen , zwar immer noch zuviel (67% im Zelt) aber besser so als das hier die Hitze in die Höhe schießt . Nach 12h Licht (19:00 Uhr) wird dann wieder aufgedreht und die letzen Stunden mit mehr intensität nachgeholt was nachzuholen geht , denn dann gehen hier erst wieder die Temperaturen runter . Day 56: Läuft wie gestern ab 19:00 wurde das Licht aufgedreht und DLI nachgeholt .

Added strength by adding some LST clips from around my area. She’s on day 90 from sprout. Honestly the longest auto I’ve grown to date. No complaints. Just wish there was better support from the breeders. Anyway. Hope y’all enjoy the photos and video. She’s loving the new TSL2000 btw. Can’t wait til harvest day.
