Going great. All my perameters are right where I want them. Scroging has begun and I’m adjusting every two days or so. Feedings about three times a day. Going through about five gallons per day without a lot of runoff. How are the ladies looking to you lot? By the way today’s date is December 15th 2018 because grow diaries doesn’t tag these updates automatically(a really big oversight in my opinion) I use this diary mostly for personal reference.

week 11 75 days according to the breeder this strain has 7-8 weeks of flowering. with the possible stress that the plant has suffered maybe it has slowed down its growth a little. but since I'm not impatient and I have time is not a problem. I like to let it mature on point so I let it roll for another three weeks. As for the sample I took a week before... it was on a good track. I could already feel some notes and aroma but deep down. very heavy and harsh smoke, to remember that there was no flush or cure, just dry. Now its waiting for the whole plant dry. 🤞🙏

Quebec Blast grew pretty well. Buds are rock hard and frosty. She is not known for large yields so I am very satisfied with my results I learned a lot during this run. Was first grow with photoperiod plants in DWC. I grew her underca Spider Farmer SE5000, in a New Level Hydro bucket. She came out great. Started to foxtailing at end. My room was getting too hot. I will be waiting to try it for sure. Hey guys, Like I said last week, this week was another cold rainy week. Discoverd some budrot on my Shamans, but not mayor problems. Therefore I decided to Harvest my Shamans at the end of this week. Knowing that in the upcomming weeks it will get even more colder, more rain and more bud rot. Luckly I only gave them water and one time with Humic-Blast and enzym+. Thats not a proper flush but better then full nutrients in the soil/plant. If it wasn't for the colder climate, i would had let them flower for another 1 to 2 weeks because they really started to thicken and the flowers were swelling. But at the end i rather have smokable buds then budrot buds,,, Weather for the upcomming week is 70% to 92% rain with 11-14 degrees Celcius and at night even 7-9 celcius. So there is no point by risking all of my buds to rot, in hope for some swelling which may never come with this colds The Critical Kushes where in their 4th week of flowering, going into the 5th. I have no other choice to keep them at least for another 2-4 weeks, lets see how it goes. I don't mind spending nutrients on maybe a lost cost. 11/30: I fed them today and supercropped the taller one a little bit. Just trying to encourage her lowers to compete for apical dominance. I raised the lights another few inches 12/1: I raised the lights about a foot because of a couple of taller plants, so these girls and most of the others are on a platform so as to be within 15 inches of the lights. Their platforms are some of the shortest, and I think they're about to catch up with the others.👍 12/2: Busy with life...didn't do much. Very cold days, so the high temp in the closet was 72f today👈 12/4: Switched to 13/11....afraid of it taking too long to flower and ending up with a bunch of pain in the ass 5-footers..

Day 15 I added a second trellis netting for scrogging purposes but mildly mostly it was for support as the buds start to thicken up. It looks like things are coming along very well no deficiencies no pests and everything looks relatively healthy. I'm still toying around with the idea of having a continuous drip of water into the pot so that never dries out I'll just have to tweak it when I decide to go that way cuz that are not over-watering and causing root rot

It is time. Cut down 9-8. There's a couple nugs a little too close to each other for my liking. But I don't really have anywhere to put them so I'll leave them on the plant and hope there's no mold. Only had mold one grow and only on a couple of bugs, the bigger ones. Gotta get some drying screens for situations like this. Once again shooting for a 2 week dry. There's some pretty fat nugs which should help with a longer dry. Got a small fan and the exhaust fan to help out

As I finally took a stab at LST, I noticed all the fine white hairs growing... is this the precursor to flowering? Very excited to see how this continues to grow!

This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots.
