After her 10/21 defol she has really started putting on some weight. her little golf ball sized flowers have almost doubled in size and the terps coming off her continue to increase in strength. If I even brush against her it sticks to me. The flower is insanely resinous.

Week 8 Update: Transition to Flowering 🌸✨ 🌟 The Flowering Stage Begins 🌟 Welcome to Week 8! Big changes are happening in the grow room. This week marks the official switch from the vegetative stage to the flowering stage. With the light schedule now adjusted to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness, the plants are entering the crucial phase where all the hard work of vegetative growth will start to pay off in the form of buds. 🌼 Flowering Transition 🌼 Light Schedule: The light schedule has been reduced to 12 hours on and 12 hours off, which signals the plants to begin flowering. I'm aiming to maintain a Daily Light Integral (DLI) of around 40 to optimize bud development. Greenhouse Super Lemon Haze 🌞 Responding quickly to the light change, with the first signs of pre-flower pistils emerging. The even canopy from LST will help the plant distribute energy effectively to multiple bud sites. Humboldt Seed Bubba Kush 🌿 This compact, bushy plant is beginning to show signs of entering the flowering stage. Its strong structure is set to support what should be a dense, resinous bud formation. Blueberry Muffin 🥞 Continuing to exhibit robust growth, with the first signs of transition into flowering. The dense frame developed during veg should result in a productive flowering stage. 🌱 Continuing Care 🌱 As the plants transition, I'll be adjusting their care to support this new phase: Nutrient Adjustment: Shifting to a flowering-focused nutrient schedule with increased phosphorus and potassium to support bud formation, while gradually reducing nitrogen. Environmental Control: Monitoring and adjusting temperature and humidity to ideal levels for flowering, ensuring the environment promotes healthy bud development. Training & Defoliation: Continuing LST and selective defoliation to maintain an even canopy and improve light penetration to lower bud sites. 🌸 Looking Forward 🌸 The plants are now in the flowering stage, and this is where the real magic happens. Over the next few weeks, we'll start to see bud sites develop and eventually swell into full, aromatic flowers. Day 29 - Topped both ladies at the fifth node and removed any growth below. Growth exploded since transplant and first dose of nutrients. Day 30 - Watered both ladies with around 100ml of water. They recovered from the topping and look as healthy as can be. Very happy with progress. Day 32 - Misted both ladies. Will water tomorrow with another dose of light nutrients. Day 33 - Watered both ladies with around 250ml each. Increased dosage slightly from last feed to see how they take it. Day 35 - Both ladies taking the feeding like champs. Vigorous growth showing in both, planning to top them again next week and remove any growth below the topped nodes. Misted to keep them nice and hydrated.

I am excited to try out this new gorilla cookies from fastbuds. I originally started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irritated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

Added some bamboo for support of some of the heavier bud laden stems, still addressing the tip burn, think its mostly due to under-watering, working on that balance, not too certain exactly how far I am from harvest, thinking maybe a month?

After 35 days of vegetation we send them into Flower. They get 2 hours less light every day until we reached the day/night-cycle 12/12 hours. we have noticed that they have already started their stretch. they grow 5-10 cm every day. We water them with bio grow for the first time.

So the bigger one I keep under watering it’s drinking a half gallon every two-3 days and I’ve never watered this much so I keep hesitating and wilting her other two are doing amazing switch nutes to the geoflora they didn’t respond well to the advanced nutes so we will see what happens one is actually flowering finally one is barley starting and the other hasn’t and it’s day 42 I’m kinda confused started silica on 1/4 so hopefully they like it they are looking good tho my canopy is staying level for the most part I’m happy with this grow so far

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

The plant now covers the entire new pot. One side is still a bit short but it’ll touch walls soon. You can make out many individual colas now and I’m excited of how they will stretch now.

2018-04-10 Day 1 I gave the girls water and nutrients yesterday so nothing to drink today. Turned them 90 degrees today, to give my girls as much lightexposure as possible. The flowers get bigger and bigger for each day, Overall the ladies look really good, the colors are very nice, they look healthy. I am a little surprised over the difference in size between nr1 and nr2, nr 2 is 21 cm taller than nr 1, and the flowerproduction is awesome. Not that nr1 doesn't look great - she certainly does - but still.... Nr1 is huge, she decides how much all other girls needs to be risen to get their canopys at the same height as hers. 👊.
