Moby Dick XXL Overview- Growth ~ *Grown under a spider farmer sf2000 only in a 4x4 tent* Initial Veg period was 5 weeks. I did not top her and I performed very minimal LST/ defoliation. I started her right of the bat with the microbials (Mammoth P/ Recharge) and then later added my NFTG feed int week 4. She really started to explode in growth in week 4/5. I honestly did not notice one yellow leaf up until the very end when I started to flush her. This strain is very very tolerant I would say and grows HUGE. I started seeing signs of flowering in week 6 and it was history from there! She exploded with even more growth nearly doubling its size in flower (3.5 ft to be exact) and she grew many massive colas slammed with milky trichomes and dank smells! Buds grow long and slender as opposed to small/dense like golf balls. Nutrients ~ She was potted into a 6-gal fabric airpot w/ M3 soil. Like I do with most my plants I started her slowly with just microbial feeds (w/Mammoth P and Recharge) and I did not start using my main nutrient line (Nectar for The Gods) until week 4. I really like using a foliar spray to feed also. I kept a simple feed schedule with this one and it worked out really well. I try to follow this schedule (Shown below) as close to possible with some obvious interruptions to it here and there. Microbe tea /VEG ONLY*foliar spray No Water Feed /VEG ONLY*foliar spray Microbe tea No Water /VEG ONLY*foliar spray No Water or Flush (every two weeks) Aroma/Taste ~ One of my favorite parts about this plant was its aroma. Very pine like but sharp and unique . Its described an exotic wood smell and I definitely get that. Its so refreshing and earthy it’s a VERY nice change of pace from the fruitier strains. You do get a slight citrusy smell but the pine/ wood smell is really the overpowering smell. It is by far the smelliest auto I have ever grown so I really really respect how well of a job Dinafem did on these genetics. They obviously didn’t just focus on the size of the plant! She has a nice smooth flavor that is earthy and sharp . The wood flavors linger a bit which is very nice! Effects~ Almost instantly felt it in my head. Blessed with a euphoric feeling of calmness and almost a numbness to reality. I felt it for sure and it was very potent. 1 joint had me feeling it very hard and th high lasted what felt like an hour or so which is not the case for me usually! Its attributed to the sativa dominance this plant has. Im so used to growing hybrids or indica dom plants I almost forgot what sativa highs felt like! Thanks Moby Dick XXl for slapping me in the face and reminding me!! Overall thoughts~ This plant is really easy to grow, and she stays true to her name and grows massive. This strain should be tried by any auto lover 100% I think Dinafem nailed this strain all across the board. Was pleasantly surprised with how tolerant to nutrients/ light she is. I had the light closer than suggested most her flowering and she didn’t stress at all. I cant really come up with a negative thing to say about this plant, maybe the buds are airy but that’s because she is very sativa dominant it was a bastard to trim her for sure. Drying/ Curing method~ -Dried for 11 days in a low humidity environment/ completely dark area with good airflow. Hung her as an entire plant with all the leaves still on her. -Dry trimmed her (very hard strain to trim) -Put right into mason jars and sealed shut for 3 days then began burping her (I am not using boveda ***) -Burped twice a day for 2 weeks straight and maintained 60-62 humidity. -Slowed down burping to once a night the third week .

Day 30. Girls are starting to look very good !!! No preflowers yet, but think transition will start this week. Leaves are a bit too green, but I still will feed them this week. Changed light cycle to 18/6 Day 33. Girls are happy and all looks very promising !!! Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat before this morning and girls finally loved the stuff !!! You get most with this product when plant is bigger and have loads of foliage, so perfect for last few weeks of veg period. Happy Growing !!!

This girl!!! 😂 😍 😍 Look at the bush!! 😂 I may have to hack off a few leaves this coming week, the amount of flower sites that are shaded by leaves is huge. She is VERY bushy. A lot of flower sites and a lot of leaf sites. Maybe it's a kush thing... Either way, she is looking good.

Week 4 plants have made alot growth with dark rich green leaves.. have not had any nutrient deficiency pop up, these plants are amazing Im impressed with the resilience of it… defoliated 2x once at the start of week 4 an end of week 4 they quickly had new growth… I accidentally snapped a stem while lst barely holding on on one side an within 24hrs it had completely healed with a small scar.. probably gonna veg for one week … excited for this progress!!!

PICTURE VIDEO UPDATE - 10/28/2020 Day 49 - 10/26/2020 Bud site established. Nice big base in relation to my tent. Both nice and strong with new LST + Accidental HST in the last week and a half. Made the best Screen for a ScrOG i've made so far but the accidental breaks during LST/HST didn't heal up in time for me to risk a snap getting them in the net. Good news is the screen is ready and waiting for the next grow (Might go back to photoperiod) Very excited to watch the buds grow so i gave them their final major tie down and defoliation to get the light/air flow set so the final weeks can be hands off. Gave a feeding of Molasses/Water on the 24th and will give another full nute mix feed today or tomorrow (27th/28th) Going to take pictures of the Chocolate Mint OG Autos and give them a final snip/clip down today and get that diary updated by the end of the week as well 🙌 Thanks for checking out this week! Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week 11 for White Widow by greenhouseseedco Since having the funky light schedule their growth has slowed down a fair amount. But can still see a some slight growth over the last week, they got their first proper watering 2 days ago so should make a difference for this upcoming week. Still trying my best to keep the canopy flat had to tie up the inside 5 tops to keep them levelled.

Hi, everybody. Today my plants 55 days. They look very good, cheerful. I had a problem with the lamp today. I don't know what's wrong with her after the photo shoot, but she did not turn on even after it cooled down, had to be replaced by a spare, though it has a slightly different spectrum. 😟 I found that the smell was very strong, air filtration fails, the stench goes through a little passive blowing and smells of the whole apartment. When my greenhouse is closed the smell is, but not strong, but when I work in it, it is necessary to ventilate the room for a long time. And for me this dangerously. But, there is good news, the postman gave me a great fertilizer that will help me get a good and delicious harvest. 💪 Bubblelicious Auto - these plants show a very strong smell, for 4 days it has increased several times, the smell is very strong, but pleasant. The smell of skunk was felt better when you smell a flower, but everywhere smells very strong and sweet smell of Bubble. It is very very sweet, resembles sugar cane, very sweet candy. Nevilles Haze Auto-very active, the vegetation period is very long. This plant requires a lot of time and patience, but I think it will reward me with a large harvest, I hope so. This plant practically does not smell, but there is a typical smell of Haze. If you want to harvest quickly, this plant will not suit you, be patient, well, I will tolerate. In General, we will monitor their development. I hope everything will be fine, and my neighbors will not call the police, then I will have a lot of problems, but I'm not afraid of them, because the love of this plant is stronger. Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and getting chunky. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

Day one of flower will start tonight 11/15/22 not really any growth for the small pot the beach ball was y’all responding well I guess it’s not as restricted as far as soil wise

TUESDAY 8/13: I fed her about a half-gallon with big bloom, kelp me kelp you, bembe, beastie bloomz, and terpinator. Hopefully that will kickstart the bud swelling. WEDNESDAY: We had a little rain last night. It's sunny today, but the temperature is a little cooler and the humidity is very high. I had my glasses on while inspecting her this morning..seeing some signs of spider mites here and there. I'll spray them with trifecta crop control this evening or tomorrow morning depending on if the humidity drops quick enough. THURSDAY: No time for gardening at all today...😕 FRIDAY: I missed a day only to return and find that she's SICK!!! Damnit!😖 She and two of my other plants suddenly have what looks like a bad calcium and/or phosphorous deficiency. I sprinkled some bat guano and silicium flash onto her soil and watered it in with about a half gallon of water including calimagic, beastie bloomz, terpinator, and bembe. I also thoroughly sprayed her with boom boom spray. I started brewing another batch of the PK booster compost tea including extra bat guano, earthworm castings, bembe, big bloom, and kelp me kelp you. It should be ready on Sunday...hang in there baby!🙏 SATURDAY: I went boating and had no time for gardening.. SUNDAY: I fed her a little bit of compost tea, but I fear her pot is too wet down at the bottom and that this is really a root problem. Gonna transplant her tomorrow for sure. MONDAY: I transplanted her into a 5 gallon pot with a much lighter mix..her roots were subpar to say the least. Kinda stinky...I think maybe too much biochar and not enough perlite in that pot.
