This week went real well! All 5 of the Twenty20 Ogreberry Autos and the 1 Fastbuds Bruce Banner have successfully germinated and sprouted up from the soil!! This upcoming week we will start giving these girls a heavy feeding of nutrients PH d at 6.5 an see how they react , most likely will love it!! This week ive mostly been adding more corks to my hat and fending off the mosquitos with a very large sword. 25.6.25 - feed 2 ltr 26.6.25 - water 1.5 ltr 27.6.25 - feed 2 ltr, defoliation. 28.6.25 - water 1lt tall plant nothing for other 29.6.25 - feed 2ltr 30.6.25 - water 1.5ltr,0 ltr shorter plant which is slowing down on water. 01.7.25 - water 1.5 ltr, 1 ltr the small plant is slowing down on the watering now so into the last week or so. The taller plant still drinking and doesn't look that mature. just like me 😁 The smell now is very fruity with a hint of dankness but overall a low smelling strain just as they say.😉 Anyways thanks for stopping by and i'll see ya next week ya beautiful bogans. De really took flight from last week, should be starting flowering theese days coming. Just watering them with normal water and some tomatonutrition every now and then. Im happy they look so well in this type of scandinavian climate.

When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

Day 33 she’s beautiful and flowering and doing all she can do. She is in recycle soil for the first time ever. I didn’t wanna waste a ton of money on soil for my last grow before break. But she’s so impressive and persistent. Happy ladies are my favorite. Big and beautiful.

It was easy to harvest she was very small jut cut it quickly without stalks the wet weight is 17 g of the buds. Smell is like spicy lemonish smell. This site has changed can not update and edit the comment section. The smoke is nice it is kind of relax and strong high. Not the best but not even bad. I like it.

Day 29: No defoliation today. Giving the plant a rest after accidentally breaking the branch yesterday. Watered with nutrients (1ml G, 1ml SR). Took just under 3ltrs including run off. Day 30: Removed 3 of the original fan leaves attached to the main stem. There’s 2 left still to be removed. It seems all of a sudden the bud sites are staring to look like flowers. It doesn’t look like there’s not many bud sites. There’s also not a lot of leaves, it’s not what I would call a bushy plant (yet anyway). This suits me, well it does if the yield is good. Day 31: Watered with nutrients (1ml G, 1ml SR). Took around 3ltrs. I clipped off one more of the original big fan leaves so now there’s only one left. I also pulled in the two branches furthest to the right, bracing them off each other. Day 32: I don’t think worried is the correct word, but I am definitely conscious of the fact that this plant leaves are small and sparse (photos attached), it I’m used to battling plants that have too many leaves. There’s only 7 proper bud sites which at the moment look like they will be small. Branches are also very skinny. All this could be because of the strain itself or it could be due to the fact that the bulb I used from weeks 1 to 4 was only 125watt CFL compared to the 200watt CFL which I have always used. That’s the only difference between this and any other plant I have grown. The flowers are very well formed considering it’s not even 5 weeks old yet. Sure all we can do now is just see how it goes. Day 33: Just continued to use the Force to make the plant grow. Removed the the last two original fan leaves. *Due to commitments in the real world this week will only be five days long. Next week will be 9 days long to balance everything out.

Week 8 Flower Last full week of flush (plus a couple days). She was taken down on Day 58 Flower after she'd faded enough. Most of her fans had died off and been plucked. I always cut them down approx half hour before the light is due to turn on. This is so the chlorophyll production is at its minimum, giving you the best flavour and smoke. Week 14 Day 101 Flower Day 51, she's just about there. Going to apply Terra Powers finisher later during the week. She still has a lot of mycelium left on top and throughout her, I really dialed in the enzymes on this grow. My charts aren't updated properly I'll finish it this week, and will be showing root shots and hopefully we will be seeing a covered pot in roots and not just compacted soil. There's been a lot of fungi and mycelium, that is partly down to Terry Power mixing well with organic soil, it works well as a great soil conditioner. But it takes a while, I constantly fed this girl enzymes. And man O man, look at them buds. The colas are huge in length, and that's down to poor mainline practices and uneven energy distribution. As for left and right been similar, well, put it this way, you'd struggle to actually make something that's more uneven energy wise than this, there's nodes growing over nodes, nothing is even, really terrible mainline it the way it's meant to be done, the purpose was totally ditched here and it was very lazy. And to be honest, unknowingly is an understatement. And the fact I had such failures on my 2nd round with germination, I got to focusing the last few weeks, and pult it all back together and I've hit l got 2 pretty darn good looking phenos, (with no clones taken, another rookie mistake, if you find a pheno you should always have a clone tent and a few weeks into flowering if it's no good or hermies than ditch them, but if you get one like my SLH dwc with very low leaf to calyx ratio if you just have 1-2 clones, you are golden. So currently I have 5 different photos running and I'm pheno hunting. Anyways back to this grow. So, she's nice and fat, but nothing you'd really want to clone, there's nothing special about it. Medium-calyx ratio and good frosty bud. I'm happy with it. Thankfully I'm running a few of the New Green House Unreleased Strains for testing also for barneys so I think photos have stolen my attention. Keeping the RH between 40-45 temp is more stable atm at 28c not really getting low temperature as we are in the height of summer. But I don't care, I have the winter coming to do terpness. I've got 1 SLH left, I just hope she's a good pheno. The buds on this are monsters, and really happy with them. Lots of mycelium left so there's food left and then later in the week I'll apply the finsher. Just a low dose. D103 Sadly my mycelium got hit with some mold. Only 2 small spots, 90% most of the mycelium went through the norm, it degraded as organic matter and made for some heavy buds, she is struggling to hold herself up altogether now, am going to have to brace her to get the best out of the last 10days. She is done, but because of ALL the heavy minerals, that aren't organic, it has HAS to be flushed. Now I was on the ropes the last few weeks about flushing but I've been flushing both my SLH for the last 4 days and when you walk into my tent now, wow, the bang of 🍋 is so strong. I'm so glad I flushed these, As I was like, this is a multiple award winner, so I was like, its not from the smell of the bud as it stands but wow, its like she's at to been doing a 10k run and is sweating, the smell is so beautiful. Wow, wow, wow. I haven't been this excited to try some weed, ever. About the mold, its never a good thing. But as it started on actually fungus I'm not too worried about it. Now, if it had of just been there, I'd be like shit wtf, so I dug through some soil and scraped away the 2 bits of mold, DISCARDED, and mixed up the remaining mycelium into the soil with the spoon I use to mix my soil on top to help dry a little if over watered.
