12/3/23 - Day 27 - Hello All! Today I was able to catch the water change as it all happened. I have a video that I uploaded above. Here we are going into week 5. Shes growing fast and her branches are close together. Not much going on other than letting this LEAF box do its thing. I'll keep it updated with pictures as we go along. I still have leftover nutrients from the last grow. The A-nute is getting close to being gone. So I replaced it with the A-Nutes that I had purchased to start this grow. Replacing them is super easy. Another water change day in the books! 12/5/23 - Day 29 - I did some cleaning up on the branches. I removed a lot of the fan leaves. I do plan on cleaning it up a little more but I wanted to give her a moment to recover. However, I am starting to think that it does not matter. So far with both of the grows I have done in this LEAF box. When I trim the plant and I think it's going to cause an slow down, I'm wrong. So far I have yet to see a bad result from trimming her. It's almost like the plant likes it better immediately and starts to stretch out and get bigger. 12/7/23 - Day 31 - I noticed there are pistles already forming. I spoke with someone about how quickly that was and they said that I should wait to flip them to flower. Autos are kind of known to start flower when they are stressed. I forsure stressed her out when I just put a huge trim on her. Ill give it another few days to see if the pistles continues to pop up or slow down.

31.12.24: I have been readjusting the LST pegs and wire daily. Sometimes, twice a day! (I know, too much time on my hands)! 😆 The plants have responded fantastically! I'm so glad I gave it a go. Some plants have been a bit too tall, and I snapped Do-sì-dos P3, pulling the stem down. Audibly snapped 😬I let it be, though. It seems to have healed mostly, in only 2 days. I have increased the lighting to 70%. They're getting watered a few times a week, with 1 litre of Dechlorinated water, containing the following nutrients and additives; 1ml of Biobizz Bio-Grow, 1ml Biobizz Top Max, 1ml of Biobizz Bloom, 2ml of cal-mag, 1g of Ecothrive Biosys. The plants are responding well to this concoction, so it's all good so far. The leaves are looking greener and are getting darker. Will be monitoring to continue readjusting the LST ties. Also, to monitor the increased lighting level, to make sure they can handle that yet. 1.1.25: Happy New Year! I have continued to readjust the LST wire and plant pegs. Several times a day. Coincidence would have it, I have a 6ft tropical aquarium which was time for cleaning! I always water my Acer tree in the front yard with this water, with beautiful results 😍 👌 🍁 I decided to try it out in my indoor garden. I'll post photos of before and after to see the difference, good or bad 😅 3.1.25: Plants are doing very well, except for PPP3 I'm quite disappointed in that one, as I feel like it's wasting a space. I guess I'll have to keep it, along with the Do-sì-dos that I snapped twice, which refuses to die 😅 I started to lightly defoliate, which is difficult because I always get carried away with it. I'm going to water again with the nutrients in description of this week. 4.1.25: Continuing to defoliate and adjust the LST pegs and wire. Watered today with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. With the following nutrients;- 2ml Biobizz Bloom, 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow, 2ml Cal-Mag, 2ml Ecothrive Flourish, 0.2 g/ltr of Ecothrive Biosys. I've increased the Nitrogen by adding double the amount of Biobizz Bio-Grow. I'm trying to keep them growing for as long as possible! Changed my plans a bit so they probably won't move to another location ( or they really have to outgrow their current pots... ) so added some additional lights and raised my EC a bit. Also added CO2 to 900PPM but not sure if continue with that. First time CO2 out of a bottle instead of a generator. If it is too pricey I will quit that. 07-09: YES!! I have an extra room available so I am moving these ladies to a bigger place.. will keep you up to date.... From 5.7 to 30 liter pot size (a bit late to switch but I do believe they can profit from it.) A few hours later.... Well, that's not easy at all... taking a break for a moment... Checklist for myself: The tent is up and checked for leaks (ugly thing, but no complaints for fifty bucks) Lighting is installed at the correct height CO2 is in place, needs to be moved to the right spot Exhaust is installed (still need to tape the transitions) Still need to install Blumat (but first repot the plants due to positioning) Install the water supply (yes, I should have done that first...) Meh... another hour or two. Hopefully, they don't mind being without light for about 3 hours. A few hours later.... Well, that was a lot of work... but thank goodness it all worked out (just need to install the Blumats, which I'll soak in water shortly). Besides that, I now have a water supply and drainage available, which makes certain tasks much easier. Hand-watering was pretty fun (the plants were doing well so far), but it was a lot of work for 12 pots. Having to use a syringe every day for dosing just isn't my thing. The plants are suddenly looking very small again, though. But well, now they can literally grow in any direction. I'll quickly check how they did overnight, and then the lights will be going out again soon. And then quickly took some photos just before the lights went out... The ladies seem to be doing just fine, with their leaves happily pointing upwards as if they're waving cheerfully. The CO2 has been used up quite quickly; the bottle is empty, which isn't surprising given the large tent. I'll refill the bottle shortly and see how long it lasts this time. I think trimming will be a bit easier this round. Tonight, I'll lower the lights a bit to around 30 cm and hope they can handle the doubling of the light intensity. They were doing well last night, at least. The temperature is on the high side (33˚C), but that's not surprising given the current outdoor temperatures. I expect that once we have normal temperatures again, the temperature will settle around 29˚C. #SSSC_John Thank you very much for this outstanding strain so far...

Added some bamboo for support of some of the heavier bud laden stems, still addressing the tip burn, think its mostly due to under-watering, working on that balance, not too certain exactly how far I am from harvest, thinking maybe a month?

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 3/28/25 chopped and humidity was a little high starting off 3/30/25 have them drying at 60% and 70° 4/3/25 Still needing a day or so of drying to be at a stable humidity Beautiful plant. Fan leaves with Triched out patterns visibly everywhere. Even though i chopped quite a bit off of the plant, i still got quite a bit bigger yield than i expected. All sizable nugs. Pulled 65 grams.

Buds are coming along nicely, they started off with a not so appealing smell but eventually started to smell very sweet. Increased dosage for increased blooming and ripening. Missed update for day 49 but vids from previous day makes up for it. Side note, I created a homemade Co2 bag with ingredients that is easily available and affordable. I don't think I let is have an effect on my buds but it sure did smell awful. After the 5th day, I got rid of it.

The cultivation of this specimen was good, better than I expected, without a doubt pure instinto It will be back in our tent

Been a tough week as my ph pen failed so had signs of defiantly But that’s now corrected so hope it didn’t set them all back too much But this girl really has rippened up fast so will start too flush her this week coming

Well we finally got around to putting a gate on the hemp garden and today we are transplanting one of the ladies in the 1 gallon smart pots to a 5 gallon smart pot. For this process we placed about 3 inches of soil in the 5 gallon smart pot, then placed the 1 gallon smart pot with plant still inside on top of the soil. The next step was to start placing soil around the 1 gallon pot, so that it made sort of a mold. Once we got the soil where we wanted it, we removed the Queen Dream cultivar from the 1 gallon smart pot and placed it in the mold that was made in the soil. Finished up by adding some more soil and then watered the newly transplanted lady. No nutrients added this week.

Hi Growmies, Luckily she has made full recovery, in the tank below and up top :). OST of the root growth I. Observing, I would attribute to the combination of orca, rhizotonic and cannazym. Mainly the orca though ;). I will minimum give her 1–2 more weeks max until I flip her, as it feels like she should have a fairly short flowering phase.
