My Permanent Marker plants are looking good. The short and stocky one has turned a crazy shade of purple. It's really wild looking. The other plant is still putting on new growth, so it'll probably be ready in about two weeks. I can't wait to see how the purple one smokes – should be interesting. The past week has been awesome for drying my plants. The weather's been perfect – nice and dry, with just enough breeze to keep things moving. I finally got around to chopping down those two big plants I've been meaning to trim. They're almost ready, just need a little more time to dry out completely. I can't wait to see how they turned out.

A day late on the diary update as I was out playing golf in paradise yesterday. Caught a 1 in 100 weather day in Half Moon Bay, CA... sunny 70 degrees and less than 10 mph wind. Almost never happens. Normally the choices are heavy fog or high wind, one or the other. Anyway... cannabis... this Cream & Cheese baby is starting to show signs she's gonna need some structural support going forward. A couple of the lower branches are starting to roll over on themselves due to their weight (relative to their structural capacity). She's spread herself out so wide and her branches are rather slender. A large number of leaves on this girl are turning yellow, compared to the other girls on the patio. Normally I just yank off fan leaves as soon as they turn completely yellow. She's 58" tall now and that's probably about it. The video I threw in here is actually a couple weeks old because it took me that long to put together. Video isn't really my thing.

Saturday 28th, 2024 April (week 4 & 30 days) The plants are getting thicker and taller, had a little mold on the bamboo skewer stick so I took all of them out. So now they’re standing tall between the garden ties. Pineapple Express (A) is winning the race for sure. I need to get a fan soon to clear out all the moisture. On Monday they’ll be a month old then it’s time for nutrients. Week 7 Flower – Roller Coaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) The Final Push Begins Here we are, Week 7 of flower, and the Roller Coaster Haze girls are standing tall, magnificent, and absolutely covered in white hairs and swelling calyxes. These monster plants have truly lived up to their name, a wild ride from germination until now, and this week marks an important turning point in their journey. This week they received their last feed with nutrients, watered at pH 6.0 and EC 1.42. From here on out, it’s pure water only. The soil still carries enough reserves to sustain them as they finish ripening, and I want them to cleanly express their genetics all the way to harvest. ⸻ Environment Control – Heat vs Balance Outside, the temperatures are brutal — reaching 45°C (113°F) — but thanks to the combined ecosystem of TrolMaster and Spider Farmer controllers, the room remains stable: • Room Temp: ~28–29°C • Humidity: ~65% • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 Even under pressure, the system holds strong, giving the plants exactly what they need to thrive in these final weeks. ⸻ Lighting Adjustments – Simulating the End of the Season Light is one of the most powerful tools we have, and this week we began shifting the spectrum to signal “end of season” to the plants: • Whites & Blues: slowly being reduced • Reds: increased to 100% • Far-Red & Deep Red: 100% • UV: 100% This spectrum mix encourages ripening, resin stacking, and terpene expression while mimicking the natural transition of sunlight as summer ends. The plants respond by pushing their energy into the flowers rather than continuing vegetative growth. ⸻ Plant Development – Giants in Full Force The girls are absolutely towering now, monster plants with stacked colas and pistils shooting out everywhere. Their root systems are so strong that some roots at the soil surface are even thicker than the stalks themselves. By the end of this week, Pheno #3 was harvested, though I will dive into the full harvest details later. Pheno #2 remains in full bloom, swelling, and shining bright. ⸻ What to Expect vs What Not to Expect Expect: • Continued swelling of buds and trichome development • Pistils slowly beginning to darken and curl in • Leaves showing natural fading as stored nutrients are consumed • Stronger aromas and denser resin production Not to Expect: • Any more vegetative growth or stretching • Heavy feedings, the focus now is ripening, not building ⸻ Final Thoughts This week feels like the beginning of the final push. With nutrients removed and the spectrum shifted, the Roller Coaster Haze is entering her true finishing phase. These plants have been a wild, beautiful ride, and it’s only a matter of time now before the final chapters are written. So far so good . She is starting to get alot of orange hairs. I think maybe 2 to 3 week before she done. Just needing her to fatten up her buds now

Started low stress training this week. Still doing every 2nd day nutrient feeding. Good growth so far. Let’s see how LST goes, only issue with LST is that plant keeps obviously growing towards sun. But I am monitoring it to check the angles it’s growing at.

Weened off the veg nutes completely. I'm pretty much done messing with the scrog from here as well. From here on it's monitoring the plant health until flush and that's it.

Day 15. Took humidity dome off. She is very thin ... Fan is late for a week, hopefully monday i get it finally... Day 19. Bought few bongs, one is specifically for this girl ;) Small watering - 40 ml in. 6.3 pH. Happy Growing !!!
