Another crazy week, hot days, cold nights, always windy. These are the conditions in which weed grows in nature and my girls seem to love. PK is confirmed as a beast. Perfectly healthy only a few scratches caused by the wind. No parasites. Very rapid response to bending with excellent branching. What a smell !!

This week in my grow room has been full of developments. First, I added additional lights because I couldn't get the relative humidity (RH) under control. I ordered a dehumidifier, but it will take a few weeks to arrive, so I had to find a temporary solution. I also emptied the reservoir and refilled it with fresh water and nutrients. I secured the net to ensure it stays in place under tension. In two days, I plan to switch the light schedule to 12/12, hoping the plants will stretch a bit during the switch to avoid having overly large buds that aren't evenly spread. Seventeen hours later, I decided to keep the lights on a 16/8 schedule for a few more days. The plants are starting to show signs of something happening, so I want to see how they develop. I will keep you updated on the progress. Then, I received a message from my supplier that the dehumidifier would arrive today. Great news—time to spice things up! On June 2nd, the dehumidifier arrived, and I managed to get my Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD) to 1.17! This is fantastic news, and I'm very curious how this will affect water usage. The dehumidifier seems pretty powerful, with water literally dripping out of the hose, so I'm no longer worried about high humidity levels. It's a shame it doesn't have a range setting, but I couldn't expect more for the price. I'm considering ordering the Dimlux Auxbox to set a working range and separate day/night settings. Thankfully, the dehumidifier has an auto-restart function after a power loss. On June 3rd, the night is over, and while my values are now more stable, I haven't noticed any significant differences in water absorption. What I do notice is that the pots seem much drier. The difference in leaf temperature compared to the room temperature has increased slightly, now about a 2˚C difference, indicating that evaporation has increased somewhat. Despite the dehumidifier cooling the air, the room temperature has risen. This is explainable since dry air heats up faster than humid air. The CO2 heater is also running significantly longer. So, although there are no immediately visible differences, there are indeed some changes. Today is the last short night of 8 hours, and tomorrow will be the first night of 12 hours. I am contemplating doing a 10-hour night first and will decide later tonight. After closely reviewing the video footage, I noticed some divergent colors on the leaves. My pH is currently 6.4, which I had adjusted to compensate for the low pH last week—a foolish decision in coco, I know. I plan to make videos of each individual plant for my records to investigate further. The light is too intense to inspect them up close, so the videos will help me get a better look.

Finally, 25 weeks i believe... Mold, mildew, bud rot, rain, humidity, crazy wind, frost. Somehow these girls turned out just fine and I am so proud of the end result. I am late posting, everything is pretty much all cured up and ready to smoke. Just finished making some stocking-stuffer jars for friends and family for Christmas. It was interesting to see the different phenotypes from each plant. One was named Average Girl, medium size, medium height. Then there was Big Bitch. She was the tallest and had the skinniest nugs. Next was Dolly.. She had the fattest cones of the 4.. a little shorter than Average Girl. And last was Runt... She was about 2 weeks behind her sisters and about a foot shorter, but she did not get any mold or mildew, and her buds were ginormous. I let her go an extra 2-3 weeks later than her sisters, bringing her into the garage every night at 7 pm, and then waking up at 7 am to put her outside. By far, my favorite plant was Runty. She finished up so nice. Overall smell is Kushy blueberry diesel cat piss with a hint of citrus. Wouldn't grow this strain again just because it did not handle the weather well, and I like a kushier final product, on the taste and nose. That being said, I am a very happy guy right now. Day 56 - Rinsed with Botanicare Clearex solution. Day 58 - 2 Days after the rinse and the buds are fattening nicely. The pots are still too wet to water so I'll patiently wait to introduce the new Fox Farms Bembe and Cha Ching.

So we had a long hard battle with spidermites over the last few posts and im under the impression they are gone and i won the war with them as of recently tried a bunch of things commercial organic nothing worked so i made a concotion of tea tree and Eucalyptus essential oild and a small amount of soap and that seems to have worked . They are showing small buds. They have been through a tough two weeks thats why i havent posted. As of today they are recovering greatly and should be back to full health in a week or so then they can focus solely on budding. Ive also tooken quite a few clones and topped them as im going to be attempting a sea of green next and will be starting a grow cycle for those.

Gas tax x obama runtz I still have 2 of these plants going. One kf them is strong and rooting well the other is the smallest plant in the tent. It's leaves have nit grown in size much the past week. I'm thinking it's roots are tied up weird or it's just a weak plant. If I did not have a thing for even numbers I'd prob toss the 2nd plant but who wants 9 plants when you have 10 This past week all the plants did great dealing with getting repotted and topped in the same week. I definitely took a Rick doing that seeing i only left each plant with 4 leaves. This past week was also a struggle to keep the vpd in a decent range. The Temps outside have been below 32 for a few days with Temps dipping down to almost 0 at night. With the space heater running it's pulling the humidity down. I think I have figured out the solution to that problem so I won't run into that next time it gets cold again. All the plants have really started to grow their new branches sense being topped. A few of the plants are a little smaller than I'd like but I'm gonna keep em alive for now.
