She’s been steadily blooming! As she’s gets thicker and thicker her calyxes show off just how much purple they have in them. Still going in often to trim her up and give her room to breathe. Feed pH 6.3, EC 1.9.

Week 13 (Aug/1/2024-Aug/7/2024) DAY85 - Nothing new. Water, check, repeat. Added Kelp Meal for nutrients this week. I am thinking how I will separate the plants this week--they're starting to bunch up together--staggered may be the best option to minimize space in the garden. DAY 89 - Gave one of the girls to my buddy. Helped with the bunching of the plants in a limited space. They're a lot to handle when you harvest alone. Kept the tall one, the short two(LST), the different one in the 45 gallon pot, and the bushy one(LST-ish). By the way: I include germination as part of the day count. So basically day 1 is when I put the seed in water. These seeds all rooted within 48 hours.

Day 22 First day of the 4th week of veg and time to start training. Today I lightly defoliated the girls for the first time. I simply removed the first node from each plant and the second node on the left plant. I watered the plants with 2 liters of water (pH 6.4) right after pruning to minimize any shock. I'll give them a couple of days and then I'll top the right girl for sure but I'll see about the left one considering how much smaller she is. Last night I spotted one single fungus gnat in the tent. The first one I've seen so maybe the tomatoes did bring in something after all. I inspected the girls for any other infestation but I couldn't spot anything. I put up a couple of small sticky traps to check if the gnats are there and if they are, then out with the nematodes. I've had great success with nemos in the past so they are my go-to when it comes to fungus gnats. Day 23 So... I fucked up yesterday. I moved around some of the power plugs and forgot to start the extractor fan again after I was done. DOH! I noticed my mistake as soon as opened the tent today and was hit by a wall of heat and humidity. It felt like stepping into a jungle, hot and wet. I guess I need to regularly check the App which monitors my temps and RH. Gotten a bit lazy about it so yeah, that's when fuckups happen. After all, what is the point of having a remote monitoring system if you don't monitor it? As for the plants they are doing their thing. Not much to report. I found one gnat stuck to the left sticky trap. Hardly a huge problem at the moment but need to stay on top of it. I am hoping that the weather improves soon so I can move out the tomatoes and then hit the plants with nematodes. Day 24 Today was a busy day in the tent. I started with cutting back the cover crops as they were getting a bit unruly. I then topped and did some low-stress training to the right girl but am holding off a few days for the left one as she is a bit smaller. My girlfriend suggested that I'd save the top and try to turn it into a clone. I never considered it as I don't have any space really for a third plant but hey, since it was her idea I'll give it a go. This is the first time I ever try to clone so I'm kinda clueless and am just winging it as I go along. I'm not too worried though as this is more an experiment in seeing if I can turn the top into a clone with the means I have at hand. I cut some aloe vera and put the top directly into it. I then blended the aloe with some water in my mixer and now the top is sitting in that aloe tea. I have no idea what to plant the top in next. Maybe some peat moss (as I have some) and continue feeding it aloe tea until root appears...?  It's all an experiment. lol For the low-stress training, I used some wire that I gently put around each branch and then attached the wire to a binder clip that is clipped onto the edge of the fabric pots. I also moved out some tomatoes out of the tent but swapped in some Bishop's Crown and Saltillo hot peppers instead. Finally, I watered everything with nematodes as I today found another four gnats stuck to the right sticky trap. Still, not a huge problem, and I was planning on waiting until the tomatoes and peppers are out of the tent but better to be proactive and nip the problem in the bud than letting it fester. I used 10 million Steinernema feltiae nematodes and I know that 10 million is maybe overkilling it but hey, as they said in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing. Besides, I already had those nemos at hand. I gave each girl around 2.5 liters of water (ph 6.7). Day 25 Alright, so I almost died in a heart attack today as I opened my tent and saw several spots of white residue on the leaves - "Fuuuuuuuuu... Did I get Powdery Mildew now after that one day of high humidity?!" After checking more thoroughly it certainly didn't look like PM and then it finally dawned on me. It was simply dried nematodes as I yesterday had spilled a bit of water on a few leaves. Phew! Other than that, not much to report. The right plant looks strong after topping and I re-tightened a couple of the LST wires. The left plant is coming along nicely so I will top her in a couple of days I think. The top is chilling in a glass of aloe vera tea and later today I will put it in a peat tab which will go under a humidity dome. Day 26 Pretty uneventful as all I really did was to water the girls, each got about 2 liters of ph 6.5 water. The right girl is bouncing back strong after topping and the top itself is doing pretty ok, nestled between the girls, in a propagation tray at the back of the tent. It's quite cramped in my small tray but hey, that's all I can fit so let's see if it works out anyway. I also prepared some fresh aloe vera tea by blending an aloe very filet with a bit of water and then fed the tea to the top. I haven’t seen any more gnats, not flying around nor in the sticky traps so let’s hope that they are gone. Day 27 Nothing too exciting today. I gave the top a little more aloe tea, cut back the cover crop a bit to increase air circulation around the plants, and tweaked the LST wires a bit. That's it. Day 28 Today it was time to top and train the left girl. I also put this top in aloe tea together with the other top in the propagation tray. I figured that I might as well try to clone this one as well even though I have NO clue what to do with them in case cloning is successful. lol. I also started brewing some compost tea using the same ingredients as last time (worm castings, rock dust, biochar, lime, bentonite, neem meal, kelp meal) but as I'm planning to foliar feed this round I put all the ingredients in a large teabag. Helps to avoid clogging up the spray nozzle. I was hoping to put off watering until tomorrow as they are getting tea then but the girls were really thirsty so I gave each around 2 liters of ph 6.2 water. Oh, I saw another 3 gnats stuck to the right sticky trap so obviously, there are some still around but that isn't unexpected as the nematodes don't help against already adult gnats. In any case, the population seems small considering how few have been stuck to the traps and I haven't seen any flying around.

Nothing but water this week. They have slowed down drinking. Think there just about done. Probably chop in the next few days it looks like having two in the earth box is really going to effect yeild. If I was to to this again I would flip when they are much smaller

4/20 AM all the photos are looking good. The Tyson’s are done. 👍👍👍🍇⛽️ 4/21 4:30AM Took small samples of BTT!!! Smoking now. Heavy hitter right off the tree. she is looking already done Grimm Seeds finish fast once flowering. Wasnt expecting that! I will grow some more and veg longer. I am RE-vegging. Ricky and Bubbles they are almost a year old and I want to keep thiem. Julian can go fu...no Julian was flipped at Week 6 or 8 produced the best tight buds smells like...'tangerines. 4/21 5:04AM VIDEOS 2 MONTEL'S, THE TALL ONE AND 1 TYSON, PUNCH PIE & GELATO 44!!!! 4/21 FLUSHED THE TYSONS WITH JUST WATER AGAIN AND WOW!!!!! LOVE THE RQS TYSON PHOTO PLANTS!!!! THEY ARE STRONG THEY CAN GROW UNDER HIGH STRESS CONDITIONS. I DID TREAT THEM EARLY ON WITH MY OWN WIZARD MAGIC WITH AMINO ACIDS THAT MIGHT HAVE HELPED BUT THEY ARE GREAT 9/10. 4/22 Kasa smart plug model EP-10 FAILED by turning into a strobe after random fails... The bigger ones are fine I have not had any problems, BUT the small ones failed. Thankfully I had them on my internet and not in the grow room!!! Random dropouts, clicks on and off like being hacked, but NO the mini Kasa smart plug failed, the others are good, the strobing on and off would have severely damaged electronics...I did NOT know that could happen! THE MORE YOU KNOW! 4/23 11AM CHOP DAY BOTH Tysons came down. They were ready a while ago. They did GREAT. Underfilled 2 gallon pots. Low light using 2 TS-100-'s at about 50 to 60 Watts. No idea how m;uch i got 4/24 3:20AM Tysons are drying perfectly, great color!!!! Video with Pink Kush and CBG by Seedsman in there 4/26 for 19 a.m. brothers Grimm seeds are way better than I thought they could be as long as I grow them right and one thing I’ve noticed and I may have to do a permutation combination thing on this is that with brothers Grimm seeds I can flip them at ridiculously early rates like four weeks keeping them in a vegetative state for a shorter amount of timing and flipping them I’m still getting auto flower seed and and weight not seed speed auto flower speed and weight so if I flip a black T Tay at four weeks, I’m getting just about the same weight as an auto flower but I’m using less power cause it’s at 12:12 same with all of the brothers Grimm seeds they seem to flip and flower at extremely accelerated rates. It’s really great. GROK SAID... ""**Yes, you're asking a really good practical question.** Here's a clear breakdown of how **short-veg photos** (your current style: flip after ~4 weeks) compare to **autos** in your specific low-power, small-tent setup with Brothers Grimm seeds. ### Side-by-Side Comparison (Your Setup) | Aspect | Short-Veg Photo (4 wk veg + 8-10 wk flower) | Auto (13-19 weeks total) | Winner for You? | |-------------------------|---------------------------------------------|-----------------------------------|-----------------| | **Total Grow Time** | 12–14 weeks | 13–19 weeks | Photo (faster) | | **Light Schedule** | 12/12 (or 11/13) | 18/6 or 20/4 | Photo (less electricity) | | **Wattage / Intensity** | Can safely push higher (140-180W total) | Usually lower to control heat | Photo | | **Yield Potential** | Smaller plant but decent per plant | Often bigger single plant | Similar or slight edge to Photo in your case | | **Electricity Use** | Lower (12 hrs/day) | Higher (18+ hrs/day) | **Photo wins big** | | **Risk / Complexity** | Lower (you control flip) | Higher (no control over timing) | Photo | | **Re-Veg / Cloning** | Easy | Not possible | Photo | | **Consistency** | Very good with Grimm genetics | Good but more variation | Photo | ### Bottom Line for Your Style **Your short-veg photo method is actually excellent for you right now.** - Brothers Grimm photos (Black Tea Tangi, Ricky’s Hash Plant, Montel Dream Widow, etc.) respond **very well** to early flips. You’re already proving you can get solid, frosty buds in small pots without them taking forever. - Running **two TS1000s at ~140–160W total on 12/12** should give you **comparable or better** results than most autos in the same space, while using **significantly less electricity** and giving you more control. - You can harvest one tent, flip the next, and keep a near-continuous cycle — something that’s much harder with autos. ### Recommended Parallel Test (Simple Version) Do exactly what you’re thinking: 1. Take 1–2 strong photos (e.g. Montel or Ricky’s) and veg them only 4 weeks → flip to 12/12 with **two TS1000s**. 2. At the same time, pop 1–2 autos (same strains if possible) and run them on 18/6 or 20/4 with **one or two lights**. 3. Compare yield, quality, smell, and total electricity cost at the end. You’ll probably find the short-veg photos win on efficiency and control, especially with how well Grimm genetics are performing for you. **Quick Tip:** When you flip early, keep the lights a bit farther away the first 7–10 days after flip (18–24") to avoid light stress, then lower them as they stretch. You’re not wasting anything by harvesting smaller plants — you’re learning what actually works in *your* real-life situation (small tents, limited power, limited spoons). That’s smart growing. Want me to help map out a simple staggered schedule so you always have something finishing? Or tips on how to maximize those early-flip photos? Keep going — you’re on a good path."""💡👨‍🔬💡

~ FASTBUDS CHEMDAWG AUTOFLOWER~ 'The history of the Chemdawg strain starts in the early 90s where a group of cannabis breeders from Colorado were following a band on tour and took some of their weed with them, they had named this weed “chem bud” due to the unique chemical and diesel flavors. When they got to one of the shows, they sold a couple of grams to a group of friends who quickly realized those were some special buds and, lucky for them, the buds had a couple of Chemdawg seeds (before they actually knew what they were) which they stored. When one of the friends, who was also a cannabis grower, went back to his home on the East Coast, he germinated some of the seeds and started selecting the best phenotypes to continue developing those genetics even further. As you may know by now, his effort paid off, and soon enough there were two versions of this strain going around, one was Indica-dominant and the other was a Sativa-leaning hybrid. Both of these versions quickly spread around and several breeders developed new strains with these genetics, getting known by almost every cannabis consumer, becoming extremely popular and giving birth to a lot of famous strains such as Sour Diesel and OG Kush, although this isn’t confirmed, several old-school growers swear by it.' *content credit to FastBuds _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Spec's: 'These precious genetics were boosted by the Fast Buds team to provide a super tough, potent, and easy-to-grow strain. This Chemdawg Auto from their 'Originals' line grows around 90cm and is very resilient to diseases and colder climates but watch out because if you’re growing outdoors, your neighbors will be able to smell it easily! This strain can be cultivated even by beginner growers due to it requiring minimal maintenance and can produce up to 400gr/m2 in 8-9 weeks, this is one of the shortest varieties FastBuds offers and can be the perfect choice for those growing on a balcony or in a limited grow space. As soon as the trichome production starts, you can expect a terpene profile that resembles a mix of chemicals that is a delicious blend of diesel, gasoline, and petroleum. With up to 20% THC, you can expect a super potent high that will take you into another world and leave you there, while you relax with a strong corporal high that will leave your whole body melting, a perfect effect to relax after a long day of work or inducing a good night of sleep.' *content credit to FastBuds ~Chemdawg Auto~ Genes: Sativa 20%/Indica 80% Genetics: Chemdog Autoflowering Flowering: 8 – 9 weeks Harvest: 350 – 400 gr/m2 Height: 60 – 90 cm THC: Up to 20% CBD: < 1% Autoflowering: Yes ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ THE SETUP: ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with de-chlorinated water with SuperThrive added then ph'd to 6.0 @ 80℉ ~Grown 100% organic in 10g fabric pots with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium amended with 2tbs/g of Down To Earth 4-4-4 / 2 cups/g of Earthworm Castings / 1tbs/g of Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1tbs/g of Dr. Earth Bat Guano, 3/4 cup of Down To Earth Azomite and 1 tsp/g Down To Earth Fish Bone Meal. ~24hr light cycle during Germination / 19/5 light cycle for Vegetation and 12/12 for Flower ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and weekly Compost Tea's. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WEEKLY UPDATES: 9/6- Day 37 of flower and harvest time is fast approaching with her trichomes, which are now checked daily, maturing rapidly being 80% milky now with the remaining being clear. Daily watering's continue with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @74℉ and also I'm turning her pot 1/4 turn daily as well. 9/8- Well, her trichomes are right about where I like them to be and she's ready for 48hrs. in the dark before I chop and hang her to dry for 10-12 days. I'm watering her with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @74℉ and will continue to water her while she's in the dark (cannabis continues to carry on with it's growth processes even while in the dark) so that her medium doesn't completely dry out. Keeping her watered will also help to extend her drying time to that ideal 10-12 day target. This should be some epic smoke as her buds are absolutely crystalized with trichomes and her smell is AMAZING! 😛💚 9/10- Well she's been in the dark for 24hrs. now with 24 more to go. I'm keeping temperatures in the low to mid 60's℉ and the RH @ 45%. Tomorrow is 'Chop Day'! I'll be taking some pic's of her when she comes out of the dark and during harvest...Stay tuned, this is some 🔥! I am continuing to water while she's in the dark with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 @67℉ to keep her hydrated. 9/12- Well she's out of the dark where she spent roughly 60 hours. I kept the temp's @ 64℉ and the RH at 45%. After I brought her out I shot a few pictures of her, then plucked off all of the shade leaves. I then cut her off at her base and hung her whole. I'll keep the RH in the room @ 50% for the first 24hrs., then raise it to 55-60% for the remainder of the drying. I have the temperatures in the Dry Room at a constant 65℉ to help preserve the terpenes. Hopefully she'll take 10-12 days to dry to the point that she's ready to be trimmed and jarred! Stay tuned for the harvest of this phenomenal cultivar! 💚🔥 ~Thanks for stopping in! Things are wrapping up and harvest is right around the corner....Stay lifted and be Blessed! 😎🙏~
