Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next 12 days +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so frosty and into her fade now that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of this coming week, and I can't wait! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. As of day 50 buds continue to fatten up. There has been a lightening of foliage across the plant that has left it more of a lime green. I have had some higher temperatures (29c) that are borderline concerning but I am hoping it's not causing heat stress. My thought is that the lightening is just the normal progression for an auto well into it's flowering cycle, but if anyone has any thoughts on this or the general health of the plant please let me know! So now, we are in week 4 (day22) and most of the plants start showing more and more stamps / pistols, I decided to slowly switch my nutrition scheme. From now on I will reduce nitrogen, giving them half the amount biogrow and to support the their blooming and maintain / elevate ec add biobloom and topmax. Some lower leaves had been taken off, I will see how much they are going to stretch and then decide, where and how many leaves I will take of. Also, depending on the development especially in height I will decide what to do with the lower parts..... Not sure yet Wether to cut them off or keep them. If they stay small I will let them there, if they gain at least 100% height, what I dont think, then I will check Wether it's better to chop them... Another thing I have changed is light intensity. I am using 75% now basically and if weather allows, I go to 100%. I could sit there and watch them grow all day........ Is anyone else fantasizing about growing 100plus strains at a time????

Día 02. Tuve que empezar la floración. Las raices estaban empezando a salir por el caño de descarga. Además estoy notando que al quedar mucha agua atrapada entre las raíces, la toman más rápido y los 20 litros que puse no sé si van a alcanzar. Ya había tenido este problema hace bastante y me había olvidado. Pero igual no me preocupa tanto. Sé que puedo manejarlo tranquilo. Así que al final, la semana anterior fueron sólo 3 días. Ahora voy a ir planificando bien, dado que la diferencia de altura en una de las Polaris, me va a obligar a ir llevando un LST riguroso. También estoy empezando a pensar en formas para evitar las tapadas de raíces. Creo que algo se me va a ocurrir para implementar en algún momento. Voy a hacer un corte de hojas muy grande cuando haya terminado el estiramiento de pre flora. Porque quiero probar cuanto afecta a una rama el quitarle la hoja principal. Algunas he cortado y otras cuantas no. Apliqué Feeding Enhancer de Greenhouse, en forma foliar la noche que pasé a floración. Voy a hacer una nueva aplicación en una semana seguramente. Tuve que bajar la frecuencia de reigo de 30/30 a 15/45 por hora, porque creo que eso hizo que se hagan tan grandes rápido. Igual es un dato que voy a tomar en cuenta para el futuro. Día 04 Me preocupa la velocidad a la que se toman la solución nutritiva. Les puse 20 litros hace 4 días y quedan solamente 12 litros. A este ritmo voy a tener que empezar a poner mucho más de los esperado. Aunque igual, creo que cuando haga un trim fuerte de hojas, ahí van a empezar a regular más el consumo de agua. Además al haber crecido tanto las raíces, es mayor la cantidad de solución que queda estancada en las raíces y es consumida. Así que eso también será un tema a mejorar. Me gusta que las plantas estén así, pero siento que no las voy a poder controlar.

- Week 7 - ----- Day 43 ----- Fed 1150ppm @ 6.4ph 23 Liters. Hard to get above 1200 ppm now. More molasses being used, maximum Koolbloom dry powder as well. Tropicanna Glookies is starting to turn purple. Wedding Cake is fattening up FAST More photos later this afternoon mid light cycle. *Update* Big bulk phase is 100% on right now. Wedding Cake is thicker than a tall can of beer in 4-5 nugs easily. Tropicanna Glookies is sweating out trichomes and getting super sticky while slowly turning purple Great things await for these 2 ladies over the next 20 days. *Update* 2 close up shots of some purpling on the Tropicanna Glookies. ----- Day 44 ----- Here's a video. slow easy day of nothing ----- Day 45 ----- I see a tiny bit of yellowing at edges, nothing serious. I don't have to feed every 2 days now anyways its slowed to 3. I top off the ones near turgor pressure loss levels ( I check my whole hand down side of pot for moisture now) with tap water when needed today. Tomorrow will be feeding ~1000ppm most likely due to using Diamond Nectar chelating nutrients with large amounts of blackstrap molasses when combined and left in the reservoir before use. This seems to drop the detectable ppm even though it retains a high level of nutrient content... with Cal/mag (1-0-0) and KoolBloom Powder which is like a 0-30-40 its wildly powerful. Back right Tropicanna smells like Pineapple Sour Patch Kids without the sour. Its insane. I wish I had smell o' vision for you folks right now. Wedding Cake is like sugary sweet but weed esque... earthy esque type of thing. Not the Tropicanna... Shits fruity like kool-aid. Nugs are getting humongous and its pretty fun to watch it fill in, I had a low level anxiety of it never "Filling" in... but yea it's day 45 and look at Big Bertha... nearly dwarfing my fat ass arm... wild shit. Feel like these ladies have at least another 14~ days on the lower end. Wedding Cake should finish a week after Tropicanna... Trying to grab Wedding Cake "indica" tendencies and max them by going for 40-50% amber, 60-50% cloudy trichomes with under 2% (like literally 1-3 clear per 60X magnifying pic) clear trichomes. Tropicanna only 20% ish amber until clear is only about 20% of trichome and cloudy makes up roughly 60% of total trichome finishing... ----- Day 46 ----- Easy day Fed 1050ppm @ 6.4ph 13 Liters only. I want the root zones to dry out more and quicker, less chance of mold and other root rot issues. Cutting watering/feeding in half now but will be feeding prob twice as much. Buds are fattening FAST and are turning purple. Looks like I got the purple pheno Wedding Cake. Woot. ----- Day 47 ----- Easy day Buds are gettin freaky. Really poppin out now. It's quite awesome to see. **Update** *** HEIGHT CHANGE EXPLAINED! *** Took the Tropicanna's off the pot risers I DIY'd and brought them to the floor. Gives light in between the 2 plants at the side and also helps remove any light burn on the tropicanna, as I have been noticing a very slight tinting of too much light in the central part of the tent. Plants look incredible, tiny bit of tip burn but im not too worried, I'm feeding 1000-1200 ppm at the moment. Speaking of which, fed some tap water, 500ml each, they were dry enough to warrant a turgor pressure loss top up. Feeding tomorrow.
