Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. It has developed so far and is now slowly starting to develop its flowers :-). As soon as the first forms of buds can be seen (I think in 5-10 days) 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom per liter of substrate are added. In the third week, 1 g per liter of substrate is added so that it lasts through to the end :-). This week it was poured 3 times with 1 liter each 👍. The entire tent was also cleaned and the electronics checked for functionality. The humidifier was refilled every day and fresh osmosis water was drained into the tank for the coming week ☺️. The plants have all been checked for health and pests 👍. Next week the bamboo sticks are inserted towards the end for support and the lowest shoots are removed so that at the end the energy is not wasted in the lower area 👍. After the 9th week of flower she came to get dried for 12 days then trimmed and placed in jars for the cure. Now here we are on day 55 of the cure. I must say this stuff is oh so sticky! It's absolutely covered in resin head to toe. When I smell the jar it smells extremely appealing. Taking after her parent Afghani her nose has a kushy gassy smell that makes you want to keep your nose right in that jar. After throwing some in my grinder I roll her up into a raw paper and light her up! On the inhale it's sweet like sugar then on the exhaul she's still sweet but with hints of gas. The effects are almost immediate. You can feel it in your face and eyes then slowly works down to the body to bring a heavy indica stone. This stuff is very strong and I usually use it for evening use. I can see this being highly medicinal for people suffering from insomnia and pain. Let me say one more thing. This stuff leaves a fantastic flavor on the palate after smoking. It is also oh so smooth after the long cure. Thank you Green House Seed CO for being the legends that changed the cannabis world 🙏

Again I did not connect her on autopot but soaked the soil with loads of water and left wet towels all around the bottom of the tent to keep humidity since capacity of my humidifier is just one day. My idea was that she will use all the water in the pot and nicely dry out the root until I am back next time and in the meantime wet towels on the bottom of the tent will keep air humidity for first few days and than I can switch ON my humidifier remotely for last day, if needed (I am using alfred camera app and my old phone inside of the tent to be able to keep an eye on conditions while I am absent however I can only remotely control humidifier). Turns out (AGAIN) that it was too much water and she did not manage to use all of it during this 5 days. I found the top of the soil to be completely dried out while at the bottom of the pot and by the weight I would guess that there was still plenty of water available. I am using guanokalong soil that normally spreads water and humidity very nicely so I was bit surprised about such a difference from top to bottom of the pot. Overwatering signs are visible on young leaves; they became soft and start curling down got darker color. Despite that I have added 0,5 lit water (with orgatrex) just to balance the humidity in the pot. I am here only for day and a half and after that I will be gone for 10 days. Will not be able to dry out the soil before connecting autopot so more problems related with overwatering can be expected next time I am back. Will try to calculate quantity of water needed for 10 day and fill the tank of autopot with just a bit less than that so she can recover from all that water at one point.

Strawberry pie.....wow so impressed with the yield but also the looks are amazing and smells like strawberries... who’d of thought it lol. Recommend to everybody will defo grow again. Welcome to the new week. Don't forget to bookmark and follow. The plants are getting fatter and I do start to see a nutrient burn on them due to excess food. I plan to flush this in the last two week of the grow. For now they will be pushed with 1.8ec, fed every day or every other one. I'm getting closer to the end.. I'm not happy with the hight of them but this is on me as I didn't let them to stay in veg enough after placing them in the tent..

Green House Feeded one is moved to the middle and she enjoys her new spot. Advanced Nutrients feeded one is overfed. I will be adjusting the Ph and reduce feeding. Light intensisty is at 90% in 50 cm distance.

Beginning of week.. Both have some gorgeous flowers.. Purples are already coming out on both. Both are flooding with complex aromas.. ETHOS Cookies is doing great.. Mandarin Cookies is gonna make it to harvest, I'm sure.. So excited! Mid week.. I love how they both are giving off nice purples on the calyces already! Both smell so amazing! It makes me tear up with joy! Not sure when I should start flushing! ETHOS says that you count 9 weeks from flip to 12/12.. Not pistils forming.. Cuz you know, you need to factor in the transition time.. 1 - 2 weeks.. Sometimes 3! But I am super excited to harvest these lovely ladies!!! Next day... Ok.. So the runoff issue has gotten worse for the Mandarin Cookies.. Obviously, with all the def. you can see.. At least 3 that I can see right away.. Calcium.. Potassium.. Phosphorous.. Maybe even a slight Magnesium def. in there too.. Kinda hard to pinpoint when there is multiple showing, yet I am feeding PLENTY of all of them.. She should have no issues.. The runoff pH is now coming out at about 4.9 - 5.2, depending on a good or bad day, I guess.. I have just been puttinf it in at 6.3 every time.. Sometimes (alot now) I get a salt build-up between feedings.. I like to feed, water, feed, water.. Now I need to feed, water, water, feed, water, water... It's really bothering the shit outta me lol.. But the ETHOS Cookies is pretty close to peing on point.. Going in: 6.3 pH.. Runoff: 5.8 - 5.7.. Still in a decent range.. No signs of issues on any leaves.. They are both making some gorgeous nugs tho! Stackin calyces and trichomes lile crazy! And now they are really fattening up! I am so ready for this run to be over and let this medium dry out reeeeally good.. And take it out back Ol' Yeller style.. Yup.. That sounds like a plan.. I have PLENTY of NEW coco coir bricks and perlite that I have been hoarding.. Just like I do with my genetics 😄.. But I feel like you can never have enough.. And I plan on growing cannabis in coco coir till someone takes me out back Ol' Yeller style! End of week.. They are both showing about 50% turned pistils.. The ETHOS Cookies is a little further along.. Not by much.. But the trichomes on the Mandarin Cookies seem a little further along.. Word.. They are both going to be epic smokes for sure! So I believe I will just give both of them small feedings just to get them through the week, then I should be good to start flushing.. On to the next week!...

The Blue Planet fruity Pebbles is starting to bulk. She will take longer then the one I grew in Athena nutes. She is gonna produce more as well. Everything is going well. She has lots of frost on her.
