Coming along nicely, buds are shaped like christmas trees, slowly expanding. I was worried about mold but this baby didn't show any sign of infection, whereas two other plants in the tent got slightly affected. A few more days to go...Stay tuned! 😎

It’s the first day of week 7. The nugs are swelling up nice considering what they have been through. They are starting to smell strong. Both plants smell completely different. Even tho they are the same strain and from the same pack of seeds. If you have an idea of what’s going on with my fan leaves let me know.

It grew to within about 10 inches from the light, so 6-8 inches more than last week. I did some FIMing and trimmed off lower leaves this week. I'll check the growth this week and decide to switch the light schedule with the next week or so to 12-12.

I'm expecting one more week to chop. Most of the trichomes are cloudy. Fan leaves are yellowing already and I'm gonna be using Flawless Finish for this final week. It will be a clean smoke for sure. My feeding schedule was all over the place on this grow, lesson learned for the Royal Creamatic that I'm growing.

Big tops! She's got a lot of rocket colas thanks to the training techniques that were applied, she smells exactly like her sisters, very sweet and floral, I'm starting to feel the cherry 🍒 notes on the smell of the buds, very good strain to grow, only 2 of the 5 phenos are 100% percent purple but tje other ones show purple on the leafs like this one because of the cold temperatures

Defoled and tied down and she’s pumping now , another week of veg keeping up the defol and spreading her out before flipping. I’ll raise the lights this week to get a bit more vertical growth .

Although she is still weird to me….she is a fighter for sure.

Welcome to week 7 of veg life! The lady’s took around 4 days after there transplant to find there growth rate as they would have been filling there pots with roots. They have come on strong over the last 5 days really filling out and keeping there nodes really tight as they grow in height. They have been getting 2ltrs of water every 2 days. This is not giving run off but that will come when we get into flower. We have been feeding the lady nutes twice a week and keeping a eye on there tips as I think out nutes are rather weak. They have shown nothing but love for the larger amounts of nutes so far, see if it bites me on the butt I guess. We will run them another week in veg and switch them from there and see how we go. Week twenty-two is officially done on the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This week is a turning point, marking the end of vegetative growth and the start of the flowering transition. I decided to switch the light cycle to twelve-twelve. Initially, the plan was to wait for a stronger recovery, but the reality is simple: it wasn’t happening. The plant was given roughly three full weeks to acclimate after stress, and the response stayed limited. Rather than staying stuck in an endless waiting phase, I chose to move forward. This means accepting that flowering may not be extremely vigorous or high-energy. That’s fine. This run is also about observation, learning, and adapting. Flowering was initiated gently, at around three hundred PPFD, to avoid adding more stress. At the same time, I switched the nutrient program to Athena bloom and adjusted the recipe accordingly. The plant has now been under flowering conditions for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Over the coming week, I expect to see the first signs of stretch. It’s a bit frustrating, because structurally the plant was doing really well. The LST work created a clean, balanced canopy, and the potential was clearly there. Now the focus is simple. No rushing. No over-correction. Just letting the plant transition naturally into flower and observing how she reacts. Next week will officially mark the first true week of flowering. From there, we’ll reassess posture, stretch, and overall vitality. For now, the plant is left alone to settle into its new rhythm. That’s it for week twenty-two. See you next week.

Added the scrog net and defoliated a bit to help spread out the canopy. They are looking healthy and happy and ready for the flip! That deep-topping really was a great way of creating a very even and clean canopy (you'll see that in the next week's update)

finally they are in flower! Yay final foliar spray applied. They are still smelling like chocolate and peanut butter. Did not get 1 drop of rain this week. It is getting so frustrating plants are 1/4 what they should be this year.

4/1/21 - Both plants were transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pots with Ocean Forest soil by Fox Farm Nutrients. I will be using plain water for the next two weeks to allow the plants to get acclimated. (See video) 4/2/21 - Watered both plants with water (ph 6) noticed the grow room is a little humid throughout parts of the day but I will be installing the fan today. Both plants seem to be adjusting well. 4/3/21 - Plants are doing good. Watered them with ph 6 water. Noticing some yellow on the bottom leaves. 4/4/21 - The ends of the leaves are turning a light yellow from nutrient burn as a result of the ocean forest soil. Started low stress training today, added two clips per plant (see photo) 4/5/21 - The soil is still moist from yesterday, I’m not going to water today. They are still in the low stress training clips. You can really see the nutrient burn today. (See video) 4/6/21 - I watered the plants today with water (ph 6). Not much change in appearance from yesterday. 4/7/21 - Plants are looking great, the nutrient burn is starting to fade a little. I will be starting a new week tomorrow. (Continuing with water, and low stress training)

Pretty much been hands off. Letting drip system take care of watering, and controller and inkbird manage climate and humidity. Been weening it off nutes. From 15-1800ppm to 9 to 450 today. All cloudy now so no more feeds. Little leftovers from final res top off then straight water till the ambers show up. Aiming for few. 5-10%
