Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. So last week I accidentally posted pictures of the other phenotype of gorilla cookies in this diary. She's doing great though. By far the biggest plant in my tent currently. Feeding with med man brand nutes, kind bud base at 600 ppm and half a g of bloom per l of water

Day 31 of flower Basically the girls are on autopilot, with the autopots and Gaia green there really isn't much to do, both methods are super user friendly and the basic needs that need to be meet are just ph water in the reservoir every couple days and then watch them stack buds on top of buds...Occasionally I move a branch over to another square in the net to make room but Basically after the last top feeding it's just watch and weight, pun intended....

The girls are fully in flower this week which of course is a GREAT sight to see when opening the tent. The smell in the tent is so sweet and fruity it's already making your mouth water!! So this week I feed the girls with a little of the living soil veg so they are still getting a helping hand. They were also given the living soil bloom and some barley which I will admit is the first time using it but so far me plus the girls are very much enjoying!! I have done the necessary light de-foliating on all 4 girls over the past 2 weeks and more LST. Happy toking guys and girls!! Did a good defol this week and immediately she starts to pray, very cool. Buds are swelling up every day and there is a nice fresh smell in the tent. I will bring it to the end, i think 4 more weeks to go..

Only watering with plain water this week. Last week PPMs were hovering around 2k so the slow flush is working properly. I will skip nutes this week to prevent additional build up. CSK 1 - PPM 1230 / PH 6.7 CSK 2 - PPM 1315 / PH 6.6 CSK 3 - PPM 1225 / PH 6.5

Good morning all Day 63 and everything goes wonderfully I think for most that feels the end. Some begin senescence including my gorilla glue from fastbuds and northen light auto from RQS I start rinsing all of my 5 plants except the bubblegum which has not started to flower after 63 days I specify that in terms of performance the blueberry auto of pev seeds and the most prolific it is beautiful. 😍 The gorilla glue from fast_buds is smaller but is not left behind because it is loaded with nitroglycerine 😋 We are no longer far from the harvest I am doing a final defolliation in order to let the light reach the lower heads I think that within a week for some to two weeks for others they will all be harvested What a pleasure for this run even if the weather is long approaching the harvest ... patience is the mother of all the virtues 😉 May the strength be with me 💪 And in french langage Bonjour a tous Jour 63 et tout ce passe à merveille je pense que pour la plupart cela sent la fin . No extended vegetative phase, no shaping beforehand. What you see now is the result of: * Early root establishment * Immediate flowering signal * Structural decisions made by the plant itself This creates a different type of growth: Less stretch chaos, more compact intention. Not bigger plants — but often denser, faster-finishing expressions. ⸻ 🌿 The Room — Controlled, but not forced At first glance, some parameters might look “unusual” for this stage. Outside temperatures are getting hot, 30+ degrees, meaning hot inside the tent, night temperatures hotter than day in the photo period tent, but Blueberry ghost og is budding beautifully, with purple starting to show, girl scout cookies is looking frosted and stardawg an critical orange punch auto close to harvest, mothers are growing nicely and I should be able to clone the new seeds soon. I have harvested the sour orange auto and some white rhino also, hanging now, will update weight next week 🦏🦏😀😀

Preflowering, maximizing the sizes

The end of what I considered week 2 of veg. These babies REALLY took off, one of the little autos have a little light burn but I adjusted the light to plant distance, nothing else has been affected. I upped the dosage of "Grow" to a little under normal for the autos and full blast for the photos. Up until this point I've only had one harvest from RQS, I should've let her grow more as she was early just due to the inexperienced part of me. None the less, I got about 1.5 ounces, all information is accepted to help up. I believe cheese might have a nitrogen efficiency due to the bright green leaves, will back her off a bit

I can't believe she is still so happy. She may make it to the finish line. This will be the last week of nutrients. I have no way to flush her so it will be water from here on out.

1st photo We did the scrog, it helped us a little more to use as support to tie the branches with threads and manipulate them as we wanted, so we tamed it. but they kept growing as my colleague affirms

The two Tropicanna Poisons are truly beautiful for different reasons. One is a beautiful and perfectly normal plant with a 16 topping that has suffered a few deficiencies but is now rehabilitated and ready for flowering. The other is a beautiful mutant plant that at one point threw a polypeptide internode and I took the opportunity to make a very special and unique topping to see, there is an internode at 3 and it will look very strange.
