The zipper material is a little cheap i think. Some of the black fabric from the zippers are fall of… lot of light leak. The velcro from the fabric tape to hang of the front door are to short.

UPDATE - sat 6th March Doing good for first week. The change of light made all the difference. One is a hempy that I am going to add some worm castings and I’m already adding loads of microbes so it should buffer the ph for me. UPDATE - Monday I ordered some worm castings so I can mix it with my coco and perlite, as well as a few other goodies so I can treat a hempy more like a soil grow but get the benefits of the passive hydro system. I’ll probably use around 10%. I’m still waiting for my fan and my microbial product that is made by the same people as charge. It looks great. Loads of ph buffering microbes to munch on the vermicompost and enable me to get away without spending 60-70 on a ph meter.

This week I Realised I'd used the wrong feed chart so I was over feeding 🙄 the leaves burnt on a few plants so I've only fed them water this week and will resume feeding from next week. There are still no pre sex pistils showing but it can't be far off now. As soon as pistils start to show I'll start feeding bloom feed. I've turned the light up to 30000lux using HLG's online calculator for converting a lux meter/app reading to PAR , my light is 3000k which with lm301H Led's works out @ 465ppfd which is about the max the plants can use in veg without supliments co2. This one's been a breeze... The wife's following the book word for word and the plant is doing what I was sowed to do... Just a little cal mag in the pH 6 water and she's living her best life. More and more pistils are popping and the bud sites are all stretching to even out the canopy. Good genetics and proper care... Can't wait to see what the effects of this lady are as the stem rub has a skunk and earthy smell that just gives you an old skool vibe. I expect her to really start to stack up this week and then begin swelling those calyxes through to the end!

She is definitely one of the most photogenic cultivar's I've grown, especially with her 'Triple Headed flower', and is looking lovelier by the day! 😍 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days, which will put her around two or three more weeks from finishing, with the most exciting weeks yet to come! 12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Last week of nuts is on the book... Plant is building up and a pretty intense smell is starts to spread all over the tent. As said this past was the last nuts week, I pretty much increased all the nuts for the last 3 watering and starting next week shes gonna receive only plain pHed water. I was expecting a bigger plant overall, but she's beautiful anyway and I truly love her colours. My estimation in yield is around the 30/40 grams dry, let's see if my guess is going to be right. She's stretching like crazy..... starting to drink water like they do about this time.. experiment trying a little of everything come with this one .....Scrog Defoliation HST LST Top Fim

A lot of growth this week, the back right is rather spindly and tall compared to the rest so will need to train her down quite a bit I think. I have some soft ties coming in the post tomorrow so will be doing some extensive LST over the next few days, aiming to spread out taller plants and giving the shorter ones a chance to catch up. I did do some HST this week, but I botched a few up and had to add a splint to one of them. The tall one also has a couple yo-yo supports as she was leaning over a little bit. PH swings are less frequent but do happen from time to time, went as low as 4.7 PH during lights out but doesn’t seem to have affected them. I am determined to have an even canopy by the end of the transition period this time 💪

The new Apex's are growing much smoother and vigorously than her sister did!

Week 2 had a few challenges. The seedlings were getting little leggy so I got them outdoors in the breeze to strengthen the stem. The wind caused one to snap but it didnt fully break so it is in scotch tape traction right now 🤣. It is still hanging tough after day two fingers crossed. I am preparing the pots for the seedlings to be transplanted into this weekend. I plan to use FishSh!t to easy the stress of transplanting. I am using the leds on overcast days to supplement till they get bigger. Happy growing and any suggestions are welcome just be sweet. 😘 -Kate

This is a great strain from a great seed company in Canada, 34 street seeds. I have had great results from germination to harvest with their strains and these Cookies are no different. Nice tight nugs, some great tasting hard hitting smoke 💨 They grew easily enough, no disease or weirdness that couldn’t be solved by proper NPK. This would be a great strain for beginners looking for an easy harvest, with some good bud to show. I definitely did not maximize the potential of this strain this go around, but I still have 2 seeds from the 5 and it will make it back to my garden again. ❤️🇨🇦😎💨
