Hello again, Growdiaries community! 😎 We have reached the end of the vegetative stage with my Critical, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This week has been entirely focused on preparing the 'engine' for the explosive flowering phase that begins this Sunday. 📏 Evolution & Structure: The plant is now 20 cm tall. After the intensive training last week, she has spent these days consolidating those 4 main colas. The canopy is perfectly flat, and the secondary shoots are receiving direct light thanks to a final strategic cleanup. ✂️ Applied Techniques: Selective Thinning: I performed a cleanup in the center of the plant. By removing internal leaves and small shoots that were shaded, I’ve guaranteed total light penetration and better air circulation around that massive fasciated stem. LST Maintenance: Adjusted the ties to keep the structure wide. No more topping from now on—I want those 4 heads to stretch vertically! 💧 Watering & Nutrition (The Big Jump): Volume: Increased to 1 Liter of water per session. Water Temperature: Always watering with lukewarm water (approx. 21°C) to avoid thermal shock, which is vital when growing in an outdoor terrace setup. Fertilizers: Stepped up the dose to 2 ml/L of Bio-Grow. The plant is responding with a deep, healthy green and zero signs of stress. 🌤️ Bunker Environment (Terrace Setup): Temperature: Stable at 27°C with lights ON. Even though external temperatures drop to 1-2°C, my 'closet-within-a-closet' system keeps the minimums at a safe 18-19°C. Lighting: My QBK1500PLUS (150W) is running at 100% in Veg mode, kept at a 60 cm distance to encourage that final pre-flowering stretch. Aroma: A very noticeable 'fresh green' scent fills the tent every time I open it! Next Step: This Sunday is the BIG DAY. I’m switching the timer to 12/12, activating the Bloom switch (adding the Red/IR spectrum), and getting ready for the legendary Critical stretch. Hello friends and followers, Welcome to my weekly update. 3/3-9 This has been a good week for learning. 1) Autos do not tolerate high stress training. Don't do it unless you are sure of yourself. I topped too late. This reduces yield, stresses the plant and delays harvest by a week. 2) Too much of a good thing is not good. My Teapot gal has a copper excess (I believe) and unless I take her out of the copper pot, she will continue to be stunted. Everyone needs a bonsai in their garden, so I'm going to grow her out. 3) Know your plants. Other than Zkittles, my grows have been a 4 plant variety using only 1 seed per strain. Without a comparison, you don't know what to expect. I have looked at other gromies gardens for appearance, size etc. Everyone grows differently with their multitude of nutes and high-tech equipment that it's fair to say that I have to base any improvements in my grow only on what I have done in the past. Let the stacking begin; we are off and growing buds. RQS says harvest 70-75 days or 40-45 days of flower. My calculations – harvest of T3 will be April 13-18 and T2 15th-20. Based on the size of my gals, and the number of bud sights, I’m only estimating an ounce between both plants. This is one time I hope I’m wrong. For these Titans, I water 1- 2 liters every other day. Most of T2s (teapot gal) water (1ltr) runs thru to the bottom catchment. I leave it on the towel to keep humidity around the pot. T2 grew .5 inches and now shines brightly at 3 inches, T3 is 7. I topped my T3 last week after she started flower. Big Mistake. Autos can be HST only in week 2 and never in flower. If you remember my week 2 stats, neither girl was over .5 inches tall and only T3 had the second set of true leaves. There wasn’t any growth to even begin training. Know your plant. Here I should have chsnged.my grow plan and.not done any training besides defoliation. T3 in the 3-gallon air pot is larger at 7 inches now. I did a bit more lst on T3 tying branches down. The leave branches are at the most an inch long with most smashed up against the main stem. I also put a separator between the top 2 buds to give a bit of space. The stem on T3 is thick for being so small. A solid ¼ inch. If this gal was growing to her estimated height of 60cm, the main stem would be over an inch, like my Apollo grow. I will say for sure the RQS F1s are strong and sturdy. With T2’s stretches her tippy top is just peeking above the copper pot rim. She is towering at 3 inches. I keep supplementing and foliar spraying with Cal-mag but the internodal chlorosis is still visible. Despite separating the copper pot from the soil with coco liner and coffee filters, I think Teapot gal (T2) has a copper deficiency. ✅️ Slowed Growth, ✅️ Fewer branches ✅️ Internodal Chlorosis ✅️ Stumpy roots (I won’t see this until I harvest and reveal the root ball). I'll show pics at that time like I have with my other diaries. Given these RQS Titan are F1 hybrids and should be stable, I believe the height and the health differences are attributable to the copper wire teapot. They are in the same soil, same tent environment, same nutrient solution, same light, same everything except the growing container. As I stated in previous discourse, I expected the overall plant to be smaller than T3 simply based on the pot size but did not expect to see such size differences so early, not to mention the nutrient issues. It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. It's crazy how much my permanent marker plants have grown! They've really taken off. One's got these super cool purple stems, and the other's covered in buds – it's gonna be beautiful when they bloom.

week 3 is a tough rn not gonna lie shes yellowing extremely fast and shes begging me for potassium. i was just giving her 2 tsps to 3 gallons of water. as of today (jan 8 2022) i gave her a feed of 1 and 1/4 bloom and 1/4 veg nutes to try to fight the yellowing. i honestly dont know if that was the right thing to do most threads i read just said to add some nitrogen but idk if dyna gros bloom and grow are meant to be mixed. especially this late in flower. either way its too late i already gave it to her i guess now all i can do is wait and see what happens. you can see how fast the yellowing is happening too.

Going well, started flowering . From what I've read about growing Auto's, it says to feed them about half the amount of what you would a photoperiod plant, but i have been giving her nearly full strength nutrients & she is doing great. Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔
