A few days ago the Blue Cheese Phenotype 1 was harvested and placed in the dark room :-). This week both Kosher Tangie Kush phenotypes will be harvested 👍. Had to rearrange everything and start using the 5 x 5 tent for all the flowering. Put the 11 Timber Grow Vero cobbs set up in the tent. Had to customize the frame to fit it in. Customize is code work for cut up. Did not change the cobb spacing at all, just trimmed the overall frame so it is slightly smaller. They fit good. The tent is bright. Had to install a 6" exhaust fan to the tent to suck all the warm air out. This gets dumped outside without a charcoal filter, haha. I can smell it in the backyard, I wonder if anyone is going to say something. Who cares though, haha. Installed two small fans above the lights to cool the cobbs and a larger floor fan to keep the air moving around in the tent. The end result is good however the temperature is still slightly higher than I want. I will work on ways to lower it. Plants are doing good, smell is stronger now. The smell is great too. Buds are bulking up and really frosty. The silicate seems to be working fine, Ifeed this every watering. The plants seem to love nutrient, I keep adding it and watching this closely. The one plant is starting to get orange hairs, this is the one that was always under the cobbs. The other two are a week or two behind. Cheers.

Day 29: LST is done. 600W LED, 20 hours on 4 hours off the same with ventilation. Insetvrhe lamp approx 36 cm away. Water intake: 75 ml per plant plus triggering, humidity around 60 percent. Fertilization is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with BioBizz family, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Critical Orange Punch started flowering se grows very quick. Rest of them are OK as well they are on the way... Day 30: I did LST again. I didn't have enough elastic band yesterday so I bought today and bent them better. I also set the lamp closer approx 32 cm.Day 31: I did LST yesterday and bent them. They already "lifted up" their heads toward the lamp. As they grow I will keep bending the main stalk and the side ones. I will try to create a spiral form and spread the plants with time. Day 32: Almost all of them started flowering except Sour Stomper. Day 35: Auto Critical Orange is the monster here. She is the most developed and tallestbwoth approx 28cm. (Hard to.measure property because of LST). Pre flowers developing nicely along the plants. I changed the lamp as it needed to my other tent because my other lamp is shit. So I will swap them one week here other week there... End of the week the tallest is Critical Orange Punch with approx 28 cm and the shortest Sour Stomper with 14 cm.

8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. Welcome back, Other that the time lapse looking like an earthquake went off the RED POISONS are kicking ass the DARK DEVILS did not respond as favorably to the super soil. look like N toxicity! I thought it might have been over watering, but I let them dry out a bit this week and let them use the water left in the soil instead of watering the reservoir again. the DARK DEVILS look liked they stretched this week and there is no sign of nutrient deficiency. give them a drink on Saturday and re hydrate the soil.👍

Week 6 Summary: First off, Happy New Year! May the new year filled with peace, love, joy and dank buds! 😄😉 Day 36-39: Despite my heavy defoliation they seem to bounce back quite quickly every time, but this is my first grow so I could be completely wrong and slowly murdering my plants... 😅 WC1 starting to frost up, the two double buds are starting to split themselves up while stretching: WIN! WC2 and WC3 really starting to show their size compared to just a week or 2 ago, really spread out now, and starting to stretch. Day 40-42: WC2 and WC3 really stretching now. WC2 almost catching up to WC1's height, and has probably spread out the most out of all plants when you compare it to a few weeks ago. Maybe defoliating is a good thing for Autos after all? I'm stoked about these. Although WC2 and WC3 are a few days behind of frost production it's definately starting to show itself by the end of week 6. Stoked for these!! These are stinking aswell, but for now the 4AM in the tent is sweetening it up! On to week7!!!

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. March 20, 2019: The girls have transitioned nicely into the flower room. I’m seeing them all start to stretch out and all showing definite signs of their femininity. The DinaMed CBD+ is still the tallest, but the CBD MediKush is catching up quickly. The 4 Cherry CBD Hemp plants are all smaller so far. But the Jobe’s fertilizer spikes seems fine so far. No signs of deficiencies or issues after the first week. Watering with living water (tap water with a few ounces of fish tank water mixed in per gallon) or just straight tap water (well water). The girls remaining in the veg tent are doing OK. They really need to be transplanted into larger containers. I’m going to go shopping this weekend looking for square nursery pots for transplanting into.

The smells are becoming very strong in my house and truthfully I am still pretty pleased with trichome production although I definitely can tell the wish i had calmag 3 weeks earlier but better late then never about 3 weeks from harvest can't wait for this one been long road but a rewarding one.

WEEK 10: OVERDOSED. HANGOVER SEASON. 🌊 Straight up—I think I drowned the b*****s. Went too heavy on the pour and now they’re looking like they spent the night doing shots of nutrient water. Hoping they don't catch a nasty hangover from this dose. They’re standing there a bit heavy, trying to process the flood. We’re backing off the juice, letting 'em breathe, and praying they sweat it out without stalling the progress. Even the best get sloppy. Let's see if they got the guts to bounce back fast. 🦍🍰 Who’s accidentally flooded the engine before? They gonna bounce back or am I in for a rough week? Help a brother out. 👇

For 6 plants I got 415 grams which is so far, again my most yield to date. I think the light is deffo a factor plus the genetics help. It says it has up to 27% THC, it was deffo one of my favourites and I think I’ll be growing this again in the future. I’m terrible of explaining the smell and taste but it was really danky and a lot of my mates loved it.

Sorry I didn't update yesterday. Been bending limbs down to keep a consistent height. Using LST and HST this time. Soon I'll be identifying which branches from which plants will make the final cut. I've been very rough on these plants and they all continue to thrive. But I've noticed a clear distinction between some that are fast growing and some that are slow growing, under the exact same care. Since this is a relatively new breed I'll be interested in how they differ at harvest. I'm noticing most of my challenge now is to get the branches all at a consistent height for the switch at the ScrOG net. The challenge is not among individual branches, but among slower and faster growing plants. This would be much easier if I had a way to raise or lower whole plants in the grow. Not likely in a hydro setup, water seeking its level and all.
