This girl is currently in the darkness to speed up the process a bit. She's been flowering for over 63days already and white pistils dont seem to stop coming out. I think this is before of her strong sativa strain. Anyway, next week will be about her being harvested. I hope to get at least 8oz out of this girl. Let's see if i can do it.

Day 40 of bloom. The stench is so loud it smells like a juice bar in here! Out of 5 Runtz plants I can already distinguish 4 distinct phenos. Two that smell like pure candy (probably the zkittlez influence), one that smells like earth, mint and baked goods (very reminiscent of thin mint gsc or even dosidos), one that smells like straight cherry coke and one that smells exactly like Gelato 33 (citrusy and fresh)! So yeah, pretty excited.

Week 4 8/9 - All the girls are still moist so no water today as I'll let them dry out a bit until tomorrow when I'll check them again in the morning. The FastBuds Purple Lemonade and Seedsman Gelato OG girls are ALL getting it done! They are all 8" and bushy as hell! I've been tucking leaves, gently bending branches and doing my daily LST on all the girls to stay on top of them in this stretch before flower. 8/10- Checked the soil on all the ladies and it was very moist down deep, but fairly dry in the top 4" so I gave all the ladies a small drink (1 quart each) of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 @ 77deg. OMG they are really starting to bush out and stretch now, especially the girls in the Fox Farm/Natures Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate mix, they're literally exploding! FastBuds Purple Lemonade and Seedsman Gelato OG's continue to lead the pack with growth and overall looks although the rest are now looking like they're gonna give them a run for their money! 8/11- No water for the girl's today. Mail Call! The Nematodes arrived today, 10 million of them, goodbye Fungus Gnats!😀 Temp's, RH and VPD all remain on point with day temps running 75-84 deg. and 68-74 deg. during the 5 hour dark period, RH maintaining @ 50-55% (I've been running the humidifier set @55% and I'm adjusting the ph to 6.5 on the water in it as well and the VPD runs from .90 to 1.18. Started a batch of Compost Tea ( 4g de-chlorinated 6.9ph water, 4 cups Worm Castings, 2/3 cup Kelp Meal, 2/3 cup Alfalfa Meal, 1/4 cup Bat Guano, 2 scoops Great White Mycorrhiza, 4 tbsp. Neptune's Harvest Seaweed Extract, 2 tbsp Alaskan Fish Extract and 1/3 cup unsulfured molasses) for the girls breakfast in 2 days. They're all growing like crazy now and the FastBuds Crystal Meth is beginning to flower along with one of the FB Purple Lemonades, the rest shouldn't be far behind. 8/12- Applied the Nematodes to all the girls this morning mixed into 2 gallons of 75 deg de-chlorinated 6.8ph water divided equally among them. I continued with my daily mild LST on all the girls, continuing to spread them out to allow light to reach all parts of the plants. I also cranked up the HLG 650R's to 450 watts each for a total of 900w @ the wall hung @ 36" from the soil. After I eventually have them cranked to max during flower I may drop them slightly depending on how the girls react. 8/13- Compost Tea for breakfast! Fed the girl's 1/2g each through the top with tea (840ppm, 1780EC, 7.6ph @ 81 deg), tucked shade leaves and LST'd where needed. FastBuds Purple Lemonade's and Crystal Meth's are all in flower, still waiting on Seedsman! Growth is phenomenal, girls are healthy looking with the exception of the Seedsman Gelato OG in SOHUM Living Soil - she is getting what appears to be tip burn, I'll be keeping an eye on her. 8/14- Well well...almost the end of Week 4 and I thought it would be prudent to calibrate my Blue Labs Soil PH Pen and TDS/EC Pen, which I did. I then proceeded to check all of the ladies mediums ph and OMG am I glad I did! All of the Natures Living Soil/Happy Frog mixes ph'd between 6.2 and 6.8 which is perfect! The SOHUM Living Soil with the Seedsman Gelato OG in it also had an acceptable ph of 6.4 ----BUT, and I mean a BIG but, the SOHUM Living Soil with the FastBuds Crystal Meth #2 in it had a ph of 5.2-5.4 checked at four places around the pot!...WTF! I double checked everything and same result. The plant looks generally healthy, although not as robust as it's sister in NLS/FF mix. Gonna sleep on this and ponder my next move. The rest of the ladies are on FIRE😍 They are all in flower now with the Seedsman Zkittles the furthest behind and the FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 and both of the Purple Lemonade's are the furthest along so far. No water today as they got a healthy dose of compost tea yesterday but I did do my daily leaf tucking and light LST to keep the light penetration good into the lower bud sites. Speaking of light penetration, I cranked the HLG 650R's up to 450w at the wall each for a total of 900w hitting my girls now and lowered both of the 650R's 4" from 36" to 32" and will see how the ladies respond. 8/15- Well, I slept on what to do with the Crystal Meth #2 in the SOHUM Living Soil with the ACIDIC ph. Today I ran 4 1/2 gallons of de-chlorinated water @ 7.7 ph to try to get some ph back. I measured the ph and PPM/EC of the runoff and more surprises awaited. The runoff had a PH of 4.2, repeat FOUR POINT TWO, 1480 PPM and an EC of 6550 @ 77 deg. I don't know how this girl looks as good as she does considering that she's basically living in ten gallons of between black coffee and tomato juice! I'll check the ph of her medium tomorrow and see where we go from here. I gave all the rest of my girls 1 gallon of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.9 @ 76 deg. and defoliated a couple of leaves on the OG's, Zkittles and lightly LST'd everybody, even the girl living in a pot of coffee!...LMAO😂 ONWARD to Week FIVE!!! D57. We're at the start of the fifth week of flower, and I suspect she will finish in a couple of weeks. I removed all LST wires and soil staples today. Last night, I gave her one liter of sprouted seeds tea with humic and fulvic acid. A bit redundant, but I had some extra after I was done with my other plants. ------------------------------ D60. She is doing her thing quietly in the tent. I'm starting to see senescence in her leaves, and I did the first trichomes check today, but no amber yet. She is at least a week, if not two, from harvest. The reservoir is getting empty again, so I should top it up. I'll only fill it half-full as I don't know how long she has left. Instead, I'd fill it multiple times rather than deal with a reservoir with a bunch of water at harvest. ------------------------------ D63. We're at the end of the fifth week of flower and on the home stretch. Looking at the trichomes, I think it'll be a week until chop day. I partially filled the reservoir with 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.6 to keep her happy for a few days longer. ------------------------------

"Impossibility is a kiss away from reality." —Amanita I am really impressed with the RQS products, especially the easy bost. I think the micronutrients are a bit strong. With the bactohemp the plants have developed very well. I am normally a plagron fan and ordered the RQS batch out of curiosity. Now I regret not having bought the RQS mycorhizas as well. However, the bactohemp also works very well. I had ants and they went away with the cinnamon tea. I have applied spruzit twice and once alg a mic as a foliar nutrient. I think the micronutrients from RQS are a bit strong and I advise to dissolve them in 12 litres of water or more. But this is just a guess. Next week I will use them more dissolved and I will explain. I have not used the easy grow but instead I have started to use sugar royal from plagron. However, I am impressed with how the RQS autos grow. Next batch I will use Mafia Seeds with the easy bost and the RQS mycorrhizas. The RQS pots are also a marvel. I am glad to have had the opportunity to use these products. Plagron soil with coco fiber (2:1), mycorrhiza from bactohemp, some neem powder and the easy bost from RQS in the marevelous pots also from RQS are a working very well this year.

Just got them potted. Plants are in Shock. Removed Damaged Leaves. after Day 1. New growth is standing up and Praying. Flooding every 3 hours. 9/18/2020 had a problem that looked like Cal-Mag issues & overwatering... Was using the tank labels for water marks to tell how much water was in the tank. Discovered that the marks from the factory are wrong. Measured back in exactly 100 Gallons of water and re-nuted the tank. It didn't solve my issue. So I changed the water flood schedule to see if I was overwatering or underwatering. no response from the plants except it was getting worse. After trying things for two days, I "Phoned a friend"... and they suggested to turn the lights down to 25%. BAM! after 20 min or so, there was a positive response and lifting of the leaves... Moral of the story is to start your clones and a lower light setting and gradually bring them up over time. Pics included...

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. Hello, On Monday evening, I watered with a supplement of 1 gram of Trichoderma and 1/2 teaspoon of dolomite lime to boost calcium and magnesium levels. Today, I defoliated, keeping only the top 2 or 3 sets of flowers to concentrate energy on the top buds, knowing they haven't finished growing. Incidentally, I found 5 male flowers on the lower part of the plants, but they're still closed, phew! I slightly re-trained my plants. From today onward, my watering schedule will be. I'm really moving into the flowering phase and I'm adding Green Sensation to my nutrient solution. Once a week, in addition to Plagron nutrients: Power Bud 1ml/L once a week. (Why only once a week with POWER BUD? Plagron confirms that they have achieved better results in hydroponics, so for me, who works with soil, there is no need to use more.) This means that according to Plagron, POWER BUD is more effective or requires different usage in hydroponic systems, while for soil cultivation, a lower or less frequent dose is sufficient. Also, Cane sugar molasses 2ml/L once a week. I don't use royal icing. Cann’Candy is the black cane molasses from the organic fertiliser manufacturer Guano-Diffusion. Black molasses is a by-product of sugar refining, resulting in this thick black liquid with miraculous properties for microbial life. These ones going crazy right there! Week 6 of flowering just a couple day ago they started to bulk up. I did some defoliation but nothing big Strong and extraordinary smell of both strains. Two different worlds in tha tent.
