Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. it's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what mine gets.

Hi@ALL, it's the end of the second flowering week, unfortunately, I’m dealing with fungus gnats. As a countermeasure, I’ve used nematodes. The challenge is that during the flowering phase, I prefer to let the soil dry out completely before watering. However, nematodes require consistently moist conditions to survive. Additionally, I’ve read that nematodes can take three to four weeks to eliminate all the eggs – quite a long time. I might also try neem oil. Also, I’ve noticed that the tips of 20%-25% of the leaves have turned brown and become crispy. This occurs both at the top and bottom of the plant. I suspect I’ve provided too much light. My biggest challenge currently is finding the right light intensity. I’m using an AC Infinity Ionframe EVO3 with 280W. According to the instructions, I should operate it at 100% intensity during the flowering phase when it’s 30 centimeters away. However, that feels like a full-blown laser show for the plant. (supposedly around 1600 PPFD). Now I’ve positioned it at 45 centimeters and 70% intensity. According to the Photone App, the upper part of the plant receives approximately 900-1000 PPFD. Unfortunately, I can’t fully trust my smartphone an the app… well, that’s what happens when you turn everything into science 😅 And one more thing caught my attention: the smell. It’s not there. I can hardly smell anything. My GG#4 is three weeks old and fills the entire room with its strong odor, but the L.A. Amnesia simply doesn’t smell like anything. Somehow, that worries me a little 😩 Overall, the plant seems "healthy" and does its thing, but I’m unsure whether to prune the lower branches. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht dieses Mix Pack anzubauen und die verschiedenen Genetiken zu sehen.Jede Pflanze hatte einzigartige Merkmale.P2 hatte sehr schöne lila Töne.P3 Wurde sehr kompakt und ihre braunen Härchen sind wirklich einzigartig.P4 ist sehr kompakt gewachsen und hat sich fast gar nicht gestreckt.Sie hat auch eine sehr starke trichom Produktion und wurde sehr frostig.Deswegen versuche ich einen Steckling von P4 zu reveggen.Die mutterpflanze habe ich geerntet um die ergebnisse beurteilen zu können.

Veg for 13 weeks and take clones before switching to flower? Fer Fucks Sake! Day 3 - Coco is finally prepped and pre-soaked in 0.6EC solution, PHd to 6.3, with normal dose of CalMag. Inoculated the two 5gal containers with 25g DynoMyco. Transplanted my two surviving little gals in their forever home this evening. Watching the (kinda old) OCN seeds to see if they're swelling - they are - but I have a lot of newer seeds I could try, too. 12/26 - My vision is that I’ll have beautiful bonsai mainlines under the canopy of the autos. I’m betting it will get completely out of hand, but WTF, worth a shot. Ok, so only one of the Orange Cookies Nicole popped, and it’s looking a little wimpy. Popped two more Grandmommy Purple from Herbie’s. The three seedlings will stay in one gallon pots until the Autos are out of the way. I’ve never tried deliberately stunting veg growth before, but I’ll probably end up getting 32 tops if I mainline the hell out of them the next 12 weeks. Will probably only have room to flower out one of the photos if I’m going to let them go that wide 🙄, but I’d rather go for it now instead of a summer grow with humidity and vacation issues… Plus, the Grandmommy Purple should be THC monsters!

Hi budds and buddettez how is it growing?😁👍 A little greenhouse update today! Bin a while and the Runtz has grown insanely, i lolipopped her al the way up, supercropped/HST'ed her once every 2 days and still she is unstopable😁🙌 The soil is just spot on, i can see it on all my species of plants, they are really thriving, all the hard work of my dad and myself is paying off with lots of high quality veg and a little sidedish... FLOWERS, i love flowers, dense ones, rock hard covered in trichomes and bright orange pistils with insane oddours that want to make you clap your hands of but you cant cause your hands are glued together, those buds i ador. Oh yeah about those😂.. the Runtz is slowly showing of some pistils, and the Pineapple Glue? She is getting fatter and fatter last weeks, i fed her some extra nutes, Plagron👍 alga Bloom and some BIO Enchancer from the mighty Greenhouse👌 both bio and work like a charm, first time i fed her extra nutes and the last i recon, she doesnt seem to need it but i wanted to boost her a little to increase bud density and mass😁👌 Have a great week all and happy growing!!😁👊

This harvest has really been vey easy compared to my previous experience. I think the quality of the seeds shows in how smooth the process has been.

I just cant get over how well things are going!!!! I've come so far in only 3 generations of plants! Today I did my FIRST DEFOLIATION EVER!!!!! It went so well!!! Shout out to Bill Ward for having some good views to brush up on! My first grow I didnt have enough leaves to defol and last grow I was to scared to lol. This time I made them my bitch!!!! It was EASY! NEVER BE AFRAID OF YOUR PLANTS!!!! I'm tinkering with the light so they aren't super happy atm. I turned on the exhaust and the Vaporizer. I also raised the light to 2ft and will try to consistently keep the light at that distance. I bumped up the nuets to 2ml. I'm a little lower than my schedule called for but i might bump it this week. Gonna watch the ladies! I tested the runoff and its 6.1, perfect. Starting to see how the plant is gonna look. __________________________________________________________________________________________ The plants came down with some spots. i did some reading and i came to the conclusion that they needed a bit more cal-mag. I also had noticed some of the newer growth had reddish stems too. I checked my discords and that's what they thought too!!! I was going to bump it anyway bc I've seen alot of diaries on here with ALOT more Cal-mag than me. Otherwise they look great! I got them out tonight for a light watering and noticed they had grown like 4or5 inches! Go Baby Go! __________________________________________________________________________________________ I fed them this evening and gave them a small haircut for some light penetration. I put a few spacers in that I printed and they seemed to help salvage my LST. I think the stakes dont hold up to the plant. Next Grow I will use wire. Still monitoring the leaves and while its slowly spreading I don't think I will see the effects of the extra calmag for a while. I have double downed on my videos, working on editing and hope to really develop my dairies! __________________________________________________________________ Things are going great as we wrap up the week. The plants are almost fighting for space in the tent, and i'm dialing in how much water the pots hold, I think this is the sweet spot size. Defoliated about 20 leaves, just a trim and tuck. I didn't do well at LST at all this round, i noticed all the main stems are ramrod straight, but using the spacers seems to be making the plants into pretty nice lil trees. I think the best part is right around the corner!!! Its about to get very pretty up in there!

Now using the perfect PPM worsheet made by Grow Boss.

The heat wave has just passed, after 15 days of hell no serious problems to report, few burnt tips, some spots where the water has fallen on the leaves, some bites. Huge beast in full stretching, I've no more options to control the growth. Stay safe Bros

Hallo zusammen 🤙. Habe auf der Cannafair ein paar Samen zum Testen bekommen. Wir hatten ein schönes Gespräch gehabt über Gras haben viele Infos bekommen. Freue mich die Sorte hier zu zeigen 🤙 Ich benutze die Bio Hanferde von Sonnenerde aber zum 2 mal habe sie mit 2 Liter frische Erde nachgefüllt und dann die Bio Taps Sachen drunter gemischt .
