Day 50 - All still ticking along nicely. Tank topped up the other night...think I am starting to see the 1st signs of Stretch, 1 week in to 12/12 (well, for the 1st few days it was more 12.25/11.75 but its adjusted now. Now just tucking and weaving the canopy and attempting to keep things even(ish). Refreshed the CO2 Milk Jug and thats about it for today. Enjoy the time lapse of last week (!st week of 12/12).

From this point on, things should get much more interesting because the differences between the phenos are becoming impossible to ignore. 📈 Current observations: Several phenos are stretching hard since flowering started Some plants are already reaching heights of around 40 cm Growth patterns are becoming much clearer between each phenotype On the taller phenos you can already see that the first side branches are developing almost like additional main colas 👀 💧 Feeding & training: This week the plants received their first bloom nutrients following the Master Recipe. To be Completely honest , I’ve Heard a lot of great things about The Cali Connection, but this Strawberrry OG Is not really impressing me at all and as been a pain to gro w , very delicate to anything, Great cloning tho, at this point it has no Trichomes at which I think it’s upsetting for me but its my first grow so idk if they will come eventually if Most OGS ARE LIKE THAT I know know . Any help would kindly appreciated

Day 35 Flowering: The bud fun continues to impress me with these Exotic girls.The heat has been ridiculous this last week and in the 37°c area more than a few times. It shows the brilliant resilience of the genetics. They have not stalled or shown any heat exhaustion during the practice for hell week which has been a relief. I think without the co2 bag , they would have feared a lot worse. The Banana are really filling out nicely now and when I tested the smell with a rub, the hit of ripening bananas hit me hard. They are not as chunky as the purple monkey but there are a lot of mains among the 4 plants so fingers crossed for a good haul. The Purple monkey are doing really well with some excellent examples of buds on them., they should start to really bulk up over the coming week you. I still think they could finish early around day 49 flowering maybe as they are so well developed and are starting to show more orange hairs all over their buds. The smell is amazing too with a really sweet candy and lemon hint with it nice and tacky to touch now too. The 2 crosses are trying their best to catch up with the main ladies and all look healthy and well too thankfully. Playing the waiting game now with the last 4 weeks to swell and ripen . Got the grow bars in today and they will added to the tent, they are 90w Led grow lights 4 feet long with Banks of Sanan Epistar Smd 2835 and Osrams. PPFD of 198 @ 18” added to the power already there and we got a heck of a light setup. The lights are of great quality and have a three year warranty. Next big investment will mostly be an Apogee Light Meter, tired of fucking around and playing the Guessing game with “Lux meter” on the cell phone. After we acquire the ppfd meter the next step will be acquiring parts to build our own grow light. Also planning on experimenting with light moving technology next grow so we can avoid some of hot spot issues known to be present with Cobs. Lights lights everywhere lights what the heck is going on here? Well the whole idea is to have a ppfd that is as close as possible to 1000 or higher Par/ppfd at 5 foot by 5 foot. Ladies will burned but yields will be large. No guessing or estimating yet. Taking a wait and see approach. The purple gelato mutant is still showing signs that she may indeed be going into flower. Not overly concerned, just kind of cool thing. So all said and done we will try to run 6 side bar lights. 4 cheaper led bars equaling about 180w with 2 Chinese high quality led that are also equal to about 180w. There is also a 2000w Cob grow light with 4 cobs and a bunch of leds draws about 400 watts. And finally a Parfactworks 500w grow light draws about 150 watts. These are all give or take numbers so really I could be drawing 1000 watts or I could be drawing 800 watts. Not really concerned about the power draws we are after bigger weights. And without investing in a new grow light this was our best course of action. Pleased with how everything is progressing and looks great. So I'm actually kind of not use to plants growing this fast every plant is showing gender now in some way. The mutant is most likely not pushing into flower. But again I'm not use to plant growth this fast... Umm #@$% you Advanced Nutrients I used them for half a year and never really had anything to compare them too. This is a superior product in every single way including Price.. Thank you Green Planet Nutrients for making a fantastic product. SMD 2835 – A cheaper led fairly efficient rated at 2.2umols/j with a 3 year warranty offers good value to performance. Comparable to Lg 5830s and Samsung 301h(b) But not as energy efficient. A cutting requires roots to uptake water, we must create an environment so humid the plant can absorb moisture through its one set of leaves, 70+RH% but also a good supply of fresh air and full temperature control. Once I see light lime green it will signify new growth of the plant, I will know it has started to re-root.

Day 56 for Chem91 and day 54 for the HighLux. Really excited to see the chem finally come around A huge difference from a couple of weeks ago. She went through her stretch and now has some distance between nodes. At 16 inches she is structured much like an azalea bush She looks nothing like the traditional Christmas tree shape they you associate with cannabis plants I am hoping she is able to handle the stronger light but we will see. HighLux! Hello sweetie! Love this plant. So far no issues. She is coming out of stretch and is closing in on 32 inches tall. She has created a terrific canopy, all side branches ended up a couple of inches apart in height. Beautiful. Flowers are getting bigger every day and the early frost is just incredible, it covers fan leaves inches away from the flowers. Started feeding her with General Hydroponics CocoTek bloom A&B for the higher pl values of the Canna Coco A&B line. She seems to love it. She also received a 6 ml dose of King Kola and again she seems happy with the extra pk. I have been giving the a fresh ph’d water flush flush about once a week and again they seem happy with that regime. Will flush the chem91 tomorrow and begin the General Hydroponics CocoTek bloom A&B.
