Did a good defol this week and immediately she starts to pray, very cool. Buds are swelling up every day and there is a nice fresh smell in the tent. I will bring it to the end, i think 4 more weeks to go..

Day 49-56 (June 18th - 25th) (Day 51) Slurricanes and tuna are doing excellent despite their hail damaged leaves. I’m seeing good growth and decent dry downs. One of them looks like it’s been ravaged by pests but I still can’t find any evidence or signs of a pest. I’m suspecting caterpillars so I’m going to grab some BTK killer and also some all purpose insecticide sometime this week if I have time. The clones are all really lagging so they won’t be flipped until July 15th at least. I’m still not seeing normal growth on any of them yet. It’s still quite gnarled and twisted. (Day 52) The slurricane and tuna roots are starting to poke through the bottom of my pots. This is usually from underwatering, a thick soil or a hot root zone. I’m going to give everything except for the autos a good watering with some runoff. I am going to start incorporating 5mm sand into all of my soil mixes to help make the soil more loamy and give it some better drainage. I will also top dress every container and bed plant I have. (Day 53) I was at a local department store today and I was shocked to see pallets of Destiny dark matter soil selling for 60% off! I bought 10 bags for a hundred bucks. At any hydro store that would have costed me 250 at least. I might go grab more because it looks like no one is buying it for 60% off even. (Day 54) I’m going to be harvesting both of my indoor crops today and tomorrow or the next day I am going to be reusing the soil-coco blend for the slurricanes. I’m first going to till it, add a gallon of sea compost, a gallon of Destiny soil and a few cups of 5mm sand per container. I will use the excess for 5 gal pots. I will be amending with: 5 tablespoons of nature’s pride bloom 4 tablespoons of kelp meal 2 tablespoons of Gaia green AP 2 tablespoons of glacial rock dust 2 tablespoons of oyster shell flour 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 1 tablespoon of rock dust blend 1/4 teaspoon of langbeinite (Day 56) The autos are really making a comeback now. I was under the impression that I was working against the clock and they would start flowering after 3-5 weeks. I guess if they’re stunted from the cold they will delay flowering. I don’t see any pistils or signs of flowering yet so I don’t think they’ve officially started flowering yet I didn’t get a chance to do my transplant this week or pest control. I will get to it ASAP because my photos are drinking almost a liter a day

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

Shout out to Barney’s, freaking love their genetics! Harvest will be plentiful of super quality bud. Something I this far have only achieved with their genetics.

Learning a ton as I go. Started low stress training using rubberized wire poked down into the soil. Spent a lot of time just tucking the fan leaves down. I'm an idiot when it comes to watering. I dont think I'm getting enough down to the bottom of the pot, but dont want to over water. I'll just continue with what I'm doing.

Watching the time lapse shows me how my plants are doing throughout the day. Unfortunately, I am only setup to download the data once a week after the grow has already happened. I noticed on the one from week 5 that there would be times it would show growth, and then later in the day start to droop. I figured this might have to do with my watering schedule, I did not want to over water, so I only did it every 2 days. Then I bumped it up to 1.5 days, but now I am watering every morning and that seems to have helped a bit after watching this weeks video. Next week should show better results I hope. So far each time I check them they seem to be doing well. I would like them a little taller, but I can't complain on how they are doing. I upped the nutes a bit this week as well. Do you think I should water more than once a day? When is the best time to water, just before they start daytime or just before they hit nighttime? Or somewhere in between?

Commencing Week 10 - 2nd week of flowering - Day 64 from germination - Day 14 of 12/12 on December 26th All is awesome! 😁 Although all plants have hairs right now, 818#1&2, BH2, & GZ2 (especially 818s) seem to start throwing hairs just a few days before the rest. RD is stretching out rather nicely and is working in sync to make a nice level and full canopy. Have noticed the pH of the nutrient solution now swings very low with every plant, especially the bigger ones, within 24 hrs going from 5.8 down to 3.8-4.3. I pH back up accordingly every day. Lastly I decided to go with "bonsai" training instead of topping. (This is in order to keep plants growing at a steady pace - non-stunting - while taking away the apical shape that is natural for some strains.). I "bonsai'd" The following: GZ1&2&3, AND 818#1. Simply put I coiled bonsai wire around the main cola and bent below the next lowest node /tier (see photos) The other s: RD, BH 1&2, and 818#2 have a natural level/close to level shape. D.65/15 Started tucking leaves and light stress training. So far I have taken only 3-4 leaves off per plant. And other than coiled the Apex cola they are been untouched. Also to balance out the pH drop, I have been pHing to the 6.0-6.2 range. Seems to steady the solution better so I will continue. Lastly I have put both the fans and the oxygen pumps on a 15m on 15 m off interval throughout the 24 hr day. I thought it might be risky however the plants seem not to mind, rather maybe even like this better. D.69/19 Yesterday I added a tiny bit of bloom food high in phosphate to help with the flowering since it's picking up now, as well as some extra Cal Mag and the plants seem happier because of it. And I have still been putting the pH a little higher, in the 6.1 range, rather than a 5.8 since it seems to be dipping low every time I check rather than going up. Also I put these pumps back on 24 hrs per day because after two days of being on for 12 hours her day they seemed not as happy as they were prior. Lesson learned with that one no harm done so that's a good thing. The raspberry diesel is really taking up the space wonderfully in between the four plants in the corners and is becoming almost + shaped really filling in the canopy just like the description online says don't vegfor long because the flower phase stretch is something to behold. 818 headband number one has a really beautiful medium sized stature not too short but not tall and lanky either and tons of Bud sites and is looking the most bud-filled already whether that means it will have the most yield or be done the fastest, or both we'll have to wait and see., All three of the Gorilla Zkittles seem to have slightly different phenotype variation one a little bit more sativa than the other two that are more hybrid looking. All 3 have very different root masses compared to the rest of the plants and are pretty big but one in particular is absolutely huge. (Comparisons will be posted in next week's update.) the Boss hogs also seem to have very different phenotype expressions as of now one is staying much more short and having a very level canopy naturally and no hairs, while the other is close to a level canopy but still has a little bit of that main cola dominant feature as well as a lot more hairs. alarm!! something went wrong the leaves hang down a lot on the vroder plant. it hardly smells like grass but only like wet hay. the tubers look a little shriveled up in the front ones. I have the feeling that she is already overripe but can't really say because it's my first grow. I urgently need good advice

Ending week 5. Paradiso is finishing the fastest and has the biggest nugs. Banana clipz is taking the longest to flower. Banana clipz is greasy feeling and smells alot Diesel started to smell like cheese and funk but the sour lemon smell is still there. Lung Buster is the frosiest. Turnt smells the most and the smell changed a bit to more of a sweet berry smell. The peppery garlic funk is still strongly there.

10.05.21 Anfang der 7. Woche alles läuft ganz gut hab heute wieder gegossen für jede Lady 4,5 l wasser mit Zusätzen bis auf lady #2 die hat nur green sensation bekommen da sie den anderen voraus rennt mal schauen was diese Woche so bringt...... 11.05.21.................................................. 12.05.21 hab es gestern leider nicht geschafft den Bericht zu aktualisieren hab aber auch gestern nix an den Pflänzchen gemacht hab heute mal ein paar buds fotografiert und das erste mal geprüft wie fest die buds sind also gelato 41#2 ist wie ein Felsen die anderen 3 Ladys sind eher fleischig aber dennoch fest (fast wie ein Hüft steak Medium rare) sieht auf jeden fall viel Versprechend aus und der Duft an den fingern nach dem prüfen, ein hauch von zitrone trifft auf leichte Minze mit cremiger Dunst note schon ziemlich geil muss ich sagen freue mich schon drauf wie ein kleiner junge auf sein Eis...... 13.05.21.................................................. 14.05.21 hab mich dazu entschieden nur noch alle 2 Tage was zu posten ab jetzt passiert nicht mehr viel sie wird nach und nach fetter und die trichome sind zum größten Teil milchig werde Sonntag die Spülung beginnen das währe dann Tag 57 nach flip und somit tag 49 der blüte, demnach sollte ich an Tag 63 fertig sein plus 1 bis 2 Tage dann hat sie 9 Wochen blüte hinter sich und 10 Wochen 12/12 der breeder selbst gibt an 7 bis 9 Wochen flower sollte also hin hauen die Angabe bin gespannt wie sie am Ende aus sieht. Werde Sonntag mal versuchen die trichome zu fotografieren aber mein kleines Taschen mikroskop zu fotografieren während ich es an die Blüten halte is etwas kompliziert für mich hab einen ruhe tremor fehler sprich ich zitter sobald ich etwas mache was mit fein Arbeit zu tuen hat, nicht stark,aber ein Bild machen is da schon schwer, werde es Sonntag versuchen an meine Kamera vom Handy zu kleben mit Maler crepp und dann mal schauen ob es einiger maßen klappt..... 15.05.21................................................. 16.05.21 so liebe growmies und canna begeisterte heute war der Tag der Spülung hab jeder Pflanze 22,5 Liter Wasser verpasst so das eigendlich fast alles an Dünger und Zusätzen raus sein sollte die Suppe die am Ende unten raus kam war fast komplett klar wie wasser sein sollte. bitte schimpft jetzt nicht mit mir das ich so hart flushe, ich hab mir gefühlt 1000 blogs durch gelesen von Zamnesia bis royal queen über Humboldt usw. Zum Thema flush und da gibt es ja echt viele Möglichkeiten wie man das ganze angeht der eine giesst normal weiter halt nur mit Wasser der nächste spült mit doppelter Menge von gewohntem giessen und wiederum andere stellen die Pflanzen in die Dusche und spülen da eine ganze Badewannen durch die Erde. War mir da einfach nicht mehr sicher wie ich das am besten an gehe und bin halt am ende auf die idee gekommen wenn das wasser gut klar ist Dann Sollte doch gut gespült sein hoffe ich zumindest in ca 14 tagen hack ich die Ladys Dann ab ihr könnt euch gar nicht vorstellen wie ich mich auf den Tag freue wenn ich schneiden darf ist wie Geburtstag und Weihnachten auf einem Tag........

Off to the races after the first week of veg. And the girls are looking good. They had about 24-48 hours of transplant shock but have since turned over and look perky. They never fully transitioned and all of em look like they’re turning back around. Definitely starting to see some pheno variation on one of the indicas (F6) - trademark from the Skywalker 100%. A light bluish/purpleish hue on the fan leaves. We’ll see what happens over the next week then probably just pick a day and flip. We don’t need em huge - just big enough to show off dem buds. On the hardware side of this grow, the mods to the dutchy system look to be working well. It just makes plant management easier with a full trough drain as opposed to individual drainage holes. Really, the system isn’t a concern for the most part. It’s proven time and time again how manageable a recirc system can truly be. Scaling down to smaller pots and more plants has also been a revelation of sorts around here. We used to grow monsters and now the aim is strictly proportional yields across a wider array of genetics. Been a great trip so far🤟. Couple more boring weeks of veg. And as soon as the breeding tent is cleaned up and pollen free - it’s go for blast-off👍. Background This cycle of clones represents all the potential of this F1 line of WalkerBerry OG. Bred by myself over the last couple of years. This genetic shows excellent hybrid vigour, incredibly stable nutrition requirements to date and an eclectic mix of long and short internodal spacing bu specimen. We know we have indica and sativa dominant traits spread evenly across the 6 available clones. Now it’s just a matter of seeing them run out under controlled and pollen free conditions. We’ve labelled each plant and it’s resulting seed accordingly. Once we get to the F2 run, we’ll hopefully be able to isolate down to 2-3 phenos if the bud is any good. From there, who knows. It’d be great to get to a finished, stable generation that would be fem worthy but that could be a very long way off. For now - we’ll focus on this line and see where it goes🤞🤞.
