Day 22 (2020-05-31): Did some additional LST and defoliation. For LST I used wire hooks pushed into the soil to encourage sideways growth of the new branches. The G14 looks a lot bushier but it did not have as many large leaves that needs to be removed. Also, due to it's mutant nature, it started with two main branches. Maybe I should have pinched one back, but it seems very healthy so far. Roots are poking out the bottom of both pots. Not sure if this is bad or not. It did not happen in my previous grow but was using 3 gal instead of 2 gal fabric pots. Day 23 (2020-06-01): Investigated the mesh cup filter I am using with the Blumats. Turns out I had it backwards and it had some slimy feeling film inside. Not sure if that is contributing to the PH rise when water sits in the tubing, but I cleaned it out and swapped it the right way. Made some small LST adjustments. Day 24 (2020-06-02): Removed a couple of blocking leaves, made some slight LST tweaks to even things out. One of the Blumats seemed like it was not dripping but bleeding the line caused it to kick in. Must have still had some residual air in the system from yesterday's filter adjustment. PH is still a bit higher coming out of the line, but is much improved. Will continue to monitor. If it stays high may try removing the filter altogether to eliminate that possibility. Day 25 (2020-06-03): Changed the reservoir out. PH was high, but still in range but the water was cloudy and had a pretty rotten smell. Going to check PH and smell daily and see if I can get a handle on what is happening. Maybe I just need to have a regular changing schedule. Day 26 (2020-06-04): PH of reservoir at 5.6. Day 27 (2020-06-05): PH of reservoir at 5.7. DId some LST adjustments and removed a few larger leaves. Noticed some light discoloration spots on a couple of the older leaves. Moved lights a bit closer (21") Day 28 (2020-06-06): Noticed some yellowing on the tips of some of the new growth. I checked the lights and they had been way closer than I thought. Moved to correct distance to see if it may have been early signs of light burn. PH of reservoir is at 6.2. Most likely will change out tomorrow. I also noticed today a bit of white fuzz mold growing on the outside of the pots and even a little bit on the surface of the coco. I am going to turn off the humidifier for a few days and get some 3% H2O2 to wipe down the outside of the pots.

the girl went to the tent on the 69th, they predict very bad weather, which would probably cause her to rot, I will try to finish the growth in the tent, she has 14 days left and will be cut, I am going on vacation, so I am forced to do it a little earlier... In general, the girl is very it's healthy, it barely fit in the tent, so a fair amount of leaves were stuck to the edges of the tent, I've never seen anything like it, that people carry from nature to the tent - and not from it to nature :D it will be interesting to see how it all ends :) good luck:)

Day 36 Ladies look great on the start of week 6. Yesterday’s feed went in well and they both seem stretching their nodes. Day 37 Watered them with water only today. They look happy and healthy. The red stems on the taller lady are genetics as kindly confirmed by Fast Buds. 🔝 Day 39 Water day today / mixed different cocktails for both with specific needs. Run off Ph and EC improving :) Day 40 All looking good today 💚 - both plants have some slight rust spots on some leaves but I think it’s Cal/Mag deficiency and yesterday I both gave them some. Today the spots seem to have remained the same so maybe it’s solved. Day 42 Ladies are stretching their tops during these days and filling up slowly but steadily. All looking good till now for the Gelato Sisters 👯‍♀️

Last few days now, i gave them one feed with canna flush. I’ll just give them ph balanced water for now. Then put them in 48hr darkness with no water. I moved them to my other tent in preparation for harvest.

Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

11/3 Week 6 Watered roughly one gal each @6.5PH, Fish Sh!t 5ml - Karo 1 tps /gal Flower Girl still in the pot, no deficiencies I can see, well new ones :) Mag-Sulfur Foliar spray (Epsom Salt 1tbs/gal) on all as leaving cal-mag out this time Moved the two healthy plants to the center of the light, they can use it, the others might respond well to lower levels. 11/4 Better pics uploaded Placed Brandy on a block of coco coir to bring her canopy up to Layla's level. Moved Maggie to the corner she has a stretch going that I HOPE is ending and I dont want to set the lights to her. Watching that plant carefully Considering a PK boost watching only Layla for that as the other two ... well hell what can they tell me? 11/5 Working to getting the canopy under control with one stunted plant and another stretching like crazy. Put a block under Brandy to move her up level with Layla. Trained down Maggie this growth needs to end, it was already stressed. Still giving light pref to healthy plants. 11/6 Raised lights three clicks, increased extraction, showing some heat stress in those edges. 11/7 Good results on the heat stress curling has ended. Noticed some improvement also in the tops of Brandy and Maggie, so raised lights another couple of clicks. I have been using lemon juice as a PH UP since we went organic late last spring. Because of all the problems I have been looking into a lot of things further and found that lemon juice begins to degrade as a PH up after as little as an hour. A 6.0 PH water gallon can go to 6.5ish in 24 hours simply sitting in a dark corner in a jug. One can imagine the variances in soil. Why I dont know but I am going back to chemical PH additives post haste in fact its already done.

The final week is upon us. The buds glistening with trichomes, the smell is strong and pungent. Buds are tightening up and getting heavier, stems can barely hold the weight. Next week ✂️ I only gave plain water this week and added once 2ml/L of Flawless Finish

As I figured she really started picking up speed this week. I'll be switching her to swell this week. Looking at a week 8 or 9 finish

+=+=+=+=EDIT=+=+=+=+ Found a bunch of mini pollen sacks on plant #3 [Yellow], only started looking for them after I saw what appeared to be a seed and in turn was a immature seed in plant #1 [Blue], I think I have #3 Yellow and #2 Red clones left so will have to kill off the yellow ones when I get to it. I left exotic seeds know their plant went off, will see what they say about it. +=+=+=+=EDIT=+=+=+=+ ok, not a lot is happening this week. Plants are doing well and bulking up. after checking this morning they are also much greener then yellow. So the top dressing and added calcium is helping. likely more so the immediate nitrgron from the calcium as its calcium nitrate. Hopefully it won't get to much from the other amendments as I added in more IF then before and less 2-8-4 I think they have about 3-4 weeks left now, so entering the end of its life soon. I definitely think I messed up this grow a bit, mainly when it was transitioning to flower I feel I needed to double the feed vs split it out over 4 weeks and add in some sulphur to the soil to keep the PH down when making it in veg, It does not matter how much PH down I am using they are still going high from the goal I am trying to hit. I just want it sitting more aorund 6.5 vs 7-7.5. Plant number 3 or "Yellow" is really the best out of them all. bigger plant, more buds, more frost and healthy looking. I think this might be because plant number 1 "Blue" was just a bit setback by some root issues but it still is not overly frosty its like 1 is worst 3 is best and 2 is a mix of them both. just bad to good left to right. I'm also curious to take some clones from the other plant back at my parents but I know I don't need em, just want to know if it smells any better then the current ones. I want to get strains that really smell and taste amazing. Having 2nd thoughts about making this all into bubble hash. Might save a oz or two for friends as buds to compare to the hash I want to make from this. Speaking of the the small plant I gave to my parents, it started to enter flower, they are going to have to transplant it into the backyard in full sun soon. so it will be going thought a weird reveg period then back into flower end of summer. If I go home and visit I will likely have to do this for them. They have it in the same pot that I sent it to them in and gave it a feeding of miracle grow 20-20-20 and that's great for some NPK, but it does not have any micros or secondary macros. Thank that's about it, last week had a bit more details involved and the music on the videos is a bit much but I am liking it. Video games soundtracks for the win. 9/14 Week 9 and she is doing fine Little vid she is front rt Nuets not changing for now 9/16 Doing well but some white tips are saying we gotta reduce the salts so will be dropping CT nuets 10% and upping PK to 2.5 Extra space is really doing them well Defoliation again tonight the war on stemmed leaves has begun 9/17 Held a meeting of the minds and decided the best course of action is to flip the light schedule so I can feed them more appropriately, twice a day. Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. I've been doing some light defoliation where leaves were overshadowing other shoots. She's showing a clear preference for a pH below 6. Anytime it creeps above that, the plant begins to experience nutrient lockout. I'm keeping a close eye on this and will adjust the pH as necessary. Ended the last week of veg going into flower!! Excited never grown photoperiods! Second grow ever! Sprayed them down one last time with NEEM oil. Top dressed w/ elemental, foundation, and bloom from Roots Organic’s. The plants at the bottom that you saw are Dj Short Newberry.

This week, the plant is feeding heavily and has grown well. I super cropped the main stem to help with the plant becoming too tall. It has taken very well. The plant was becoming very tall so I thought this would be something to try out.
