Jack herer is doing alright for a cold space grow. She started showing her first pistils. So her preflowering stage has started. I imagine she will start to stretch soon. I don't see her getting really big with the cooler growing temps. I could be wrong though. Sex should be showing any day now, on these regular Banana chem freak plants, from Terpyz mutant genetics. I did include some pictures where you can almost see there is either a calyx or a pollensack on the way, but i think the details disapeared when i transfered the file, i´m currently using my Samsung smartphone for pictures, and my old Huawei P20lite for the videos, it get´s old really fast doing this week after week, so i spend a lot more than i can afford, on a brand new camera and lens, bought at Cotswoldcameras.com, just hope they are legit, trustpilot only had positive remarks, but there is a long delivery time, 2 - 3 weeks, so for a little while longer i will continue to use the 2 mobile phones. Once i can tell the difference between females and males, i will discard the males, transplant the females and feed them with some Bactrex and Orgatrex, then after 24 hours, take clones of the females for a small pheno hunt, veg the mothers untill the fill out the tent, i might even top them again some time soon to get them to branch out even more, but that also means for a longer veg time, it depends on how many females i get. Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. Hi all another week done strawberry banana still hanging on ill chop her tomorrow though and hang to dry for 5 to 10 days but other plant well thats a different stroy i chopped that bitch down and dried it all lasted 6 days drying between 16 &21 degress a few warm days but nothing to mad and 55 to 62% humidity now its curing in cvault containers no smell of hay at all jst pure sticky and opened container to weight it and wife screams down stairs about the smell of house I wouldn't say it was out of container and on counter top for more than 3 mins and she roaring over smell so hopefully that a good sign 🤣🤣66 grams dried. Now to my one criticism to myself the buds are a bit airey compared to what I was aiming and hoping for did I do anything wrong or will they dense up in curing process or do they come out same way they went in either way tho im well happy with my first run at this plus strawberry banana a much bigger plant buds look much denser and frostyer so dying to see what grams she gives out when all done Thanks again all Keep grow and blazing.

Little buds start showing up more and more everyday now, and the smell is incredible! Massachusetts has been experiencing some heat waves a lot with short intense thunderstorms with high winds yet these plants have continued to do what they do best and thrive. Plants have been given another round of Jobes organic granular feed with a 2-5-3 composition on NPK, and have started to restore their dark green color in new bud sites. I have been giving them heavy water due to the intense heat of 90-100 degrees, sometimes twice a day of around 3-5 gallons each watering which could result in slight flushing and more frequent feedings. I will have to wait and see, and watch how the ladies respond

Noticed some slight yellowing and the white blemishes on a couple of the older plant's leaves were getting bigger. I believed the white blemishes were do to a cal-mag deficiency and added that to my feed. Also was using 1/4 nute strength and now bumped up to full to counter the yellowing. Started LST this week too.

the girls looked like the second week of his life. Now they are a little older and already look like adult plants.

Hello world, 🇬🇷 the previous week was good,the girls are growing and they were finally transplanted...everything seems OK,I would prefer them to be a bit bigger but they need their time...what I have changed the previous week was the ph of the water...I now adjust it to 6,0...since there's no playing around with nutes I have to play with something... WEEK 4: "WHERE THE GRASS IS GREEN AND THE GIRLS ARE PRETTY..." ☠️Day 22...💧they need to be watered daily,500 ml each time,as the sun dries their soil out...no need for nutes...Just add water and off you go!!!Today it's gonna be hot...37°C...I will have to keep them inside under the Leds cause 37°C is just too high for them...hope the temps drop the following days...I can't keep them inside cause the Leds are just 50W ...way too weak for my girls......I really miss my tent and my HPS...my wife doesn't want it around so now I have to compromise with the sun and the Chinese Leds...🤣 ☠️Day 23...Angie is a bit behind the others...Michelle and Lucy have gained height...generally I would like them to be bigger at this point...we shall see...the weather today is hotter and the temps will reach 40°C... ☠️Day 25...Michelle and Lucy have streched...that's probably because the 3 last days they are inside under low light, due to the heat wave outside...will be training these two shortly...Lucy will be topped and LSTed while Michelle just LSTed...Lucy's tooping will have to wait a bit... I bent over Michelle's stem,at the beginning a little,but shortly after, I was more aggressive to her...she will be fine tomorrow... ☠️Day 26...Michelle has taken LST well and her leaves have already turned up towards the light...the side growth is beginning to turn upwards as well...the other two girls are doing fine... Today I topped Lucy at the 6th node...new side shoots are tiny but I am expecting them to grow vigorously since there is now main stem...I will do some LST to her as well but later on... ☠️Day 27...the temps are back to normal, 25-28°C...the girls are outside and will stay there...I used Enhancer today at ph 6,3,but only on Michelle as I am kind of afraid of it...When I first got it I used it on 2 other plants and burnt them...So I am waiting to see how Michelle will react and then use it on the other girls too... ☠️Day 28...last day of the week,the girls are fine...Michelle took Enhancer well,no signs of whatever,so I will give it to the other two as well...the weather is crazy...it's a bit cold and windy now... I am happy with the outcome of this grow. This was my first time growing autoflowers and ILGM genetics. Total wet weight was 1301 grams Total dry weight 8.5 oz These plants are very hardy and grow tall very quickly with the tallest plant reaching 4 ft tall. Each plant grew very different bud structures which resulted in some very dense and very fluffy buds. If you are looking for a very uniform growing plant with dense buds you may need to look for another strain. The smell from these buds are strong and amazing. I would describe the smell as fruity glue with rubber. I am overall very pleased with how this grow went and I cant wait to grow some more!
