Hello This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. I don't know what happened?!? I made a diary entry last week and now it's not here?!? Strange stuff is going on on this site. ⚡🔱‍ Anyway... The plant is doing good and growing fine. I'm starting to see the flowers, and buds forming now. I see a few thrips marks here and there, I'll keep and eye on that. It gets put in the tent each night and put out each morning. It's 29*c in here today. I'll run the same 3 comics that I put here last week, for those who follow, so you won't miss any. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Week 3 and they are starting to take off. I used some Recharge by Real Growers. Instant compost soil amendment ingredients. Great stuff.

I did the paper towel thing and the sprouted after 72hours so I place them gently in cups and placed them in my germination tray under 16/8 ts600 Mars hydro led lighting

Another boring week in flower. One of the indigo childs is fading to yellow. Checked the trichomes and I'm starting to see some ambers. Will probably wait till 7.5 week. The rest of the indigos will probably go 8-8.5 weeks. The medipak needs a lot more time. Not a resinous as I would have liked to see at this point. But I have a feeling that it might be my fault with not providing them proper environment for a sativa. I also suspect there might have been a fungal issue from the medipak tent as one suddenly died. Classic fusarium. We shall see with the others.

On day 1 the girls are doing well. Many preflowers showing and the plants are stretching a little every day. On day 2 the reservoir is almost empty. The plants are praying and growing well. On day 3 I changed out the reservoir. I also lolli popped and defoliated the plants to focus energy on productive bud sites. I set up my carbon filter mixing chamber, which is a box where I feed my exhaust ducting from my grow box and have it meet up with my carbon filter in the mixing chamber, then is scrubbed and sent out the chamber. I have to do it this way because I don't have space in the grow box for the carbon filter to be hung. I'm excited to see these two different phenos, I know which one I'm leaning towards so far ;) On day 4 I defoliated once again. I also applied BTI as a fungus gnat larva preventative. on day 5 adjusted ph in reservoir to 6.1. On day 6 flower clusters are forming on tops of plants. stretch seems to be slowing down which seems soon but we will see ;). On day 7 the girls are doing well.

Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.

This one was a monster of plant she took the 140x70 cm like a real champ. Sexy frosty dense buds with a beautiful blue/Grey shadow This one can really be the champ of this season 💚

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 2 weeks into flower, and the stretch is winding down. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I will start to add a PK booster this week. I also will be switching to light from V1 to F1 sometime this week, and also integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 90% in the V1 cycle and will be transitioning to the F1 cycle later this week. Overall, the plants seem very happy and healthy. The temperature and humidity is significantly dropping so that helps keeping the tent cool and not overly humid. This is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. So outdoors are always so tricky in Illinois. This plant started in mid April when it was warm, then super cold with snow, followed by moderate weather, to be harvested a touch early due to high humidity, drought—followed by days of lots of rain. She suffered bud rot on a few sites and was harvested immediately after to save the rest of the plant. Super frosty, great terps and she survived it all! Literally! Smells like fruit and dough.

Have some Hurkle regular seeds i got my hands on. I germinated them and they sprouted. Pictures are a real testament to genetics, and pheno types. all planted same day other the same circumstance and rotation in hot spots. all diff sizes and leaves are a different health. This grow is an experiment the weakest one will stay in the tent and go 12/12 after its first set of true leaves to see quality. the 2 bigger ones will be for an outdoor balcony grow on the lake. Direct sunlight from 6am-2pm. Right now they are in the tent for another week until the temperature is a little more consistent outside. then i will transplant.
