05.07. - 11.07. (DD.MM.) On 05.07. I corrected my LST again. The growth of the plant had increased considerably by 06.07.. When examining the plant, I noticed the first beginnings of flowers as can be seen in the pictures. So we are at the end of the growth phase and starting the flowering phase. I cut off a large leaf from one of the main branches because it was shading the branches below. (see pictures) I also cut off two small old leaves from the bottom as they were completely shaded and interfered with watering. (see pictures) I also watered about 500ml without fertilizer because some leaf tips were dark green and bent downwards. (see pictures) 08.07. Plant is growing great watered with about 1l with flowering fertilizer. About 200ml of water has flowed out of the bottom of the pot after watering, it has a pH of 6,5. I interrupted the lighting of the plant for about 4 hours today because i moved house. 10.07. Watered with about 500ml with flowering fertilizer.

While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. 24.02.24 - 1.03.24 Red hot cookies performing stunnigly as always. This is a true beauty and a wonderful plant. Very healthy and sturdy. Yesterday I already noticed some distinct candy mandarine aroma with some chocolate cookies mixed in. Lets hownshe develop those lovely colours ans smell. One of the older plants is already fed 7 times a day. Thats a record for me. In around 9l of coco.

esta semana seguimos doblando y podando alguna que otra ramita . Al parecer la nº1 ,la Triploide (tres ramas mismo nudo), que pasó a ser diploide (dos ramas mismo nudo) después de podar el primer apical parece ser que ha vuelto a Triploide y esto podria dificultar las otras dos ramas que van más avanzadas por lo que me decidí por cortar y así que siga diploide. A los 40 dias volví a podar los segundos nudos de cada rama dejándolas ahora si listas para pasar a floración en un par o tres de dias. más un agarre de las ramas a las macetas y así ir deshaciéndome de los dobladores , estos estan quedando pequeños. A los 41 dias me dió por cambiar de posición la nº2 y ponerla en el lugar de la nº1, la triploide. La nº2 está creciendo algo más vigorosa que las otras dos y la nº1 va por el camino de quedarse algo más enana. La nº3 seria un intermedio.

Day 22 25/07/24 Thursday Still no Feed/water since Tuesday. Been a humid and overcast two days so not as much evaporation as normal. All plants happy and healthy 💚 Video updates Day 23 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update. Day 26 29/07/24 Monday Nice feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. They each had 300ml with small run off. All looks incredibly happy and healthy! The Auto Kabul that was mutated and twisted has pulled herself through and is just a bit shorter than the others. Day 28 31/07/24 Wednesday End of week😁 De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚

May have over done the nutes, so just ph’d water and enzymes for the next feeding or two. Then I’m switching to Roots Organic HPK. 4 more weeks until I harvest Mama Mia.

Hey Friends, end of week 11 from seed ☺️ Not much has changed this week in the growth of plant #2. I noticed some orange on the leaf tips. This can be due to overfeeding nutrients or because I recently ran into a problem with my Ph meter, it broke so I had to purchase one at a local Hydroponics store, different model so it was giving me different readings. For example, after adding nutrients to the water, ph would read 4.5 - 5.0, with the old ph meter I would add 10 drops of ph up and it would rise to 6.0 - 6.2, with the new ph meter it goes down to 4.2 when adding nutrients and I need around 20-30 drops to bring the ph up to 6.0 +. The old ph meter was less expensive I purchased it for $15, and the new ph meter cost me about $60. I guess the new one gives me the correct reading. The plant was used to the old feeding dosage now it just needs to adapt to the new feeding. Noticed some of the top leaves had curls so I lowered light intensity. An increase in red stems so ill keep lowering the light to avoid too much strees Colas are growing in width Smell is slowly getting stronger, not sure what strain it could be but it looks and smells like cookies and og. No amber trichomes yet, maybe there is some already but its not very noticeable yet QUESTIONS How long before flushing?

3. Woche So langsam tut sich was. Ich muss noch bisschen an meiner Technik üben. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass ich bei den anderen Ladys irgendwie was anders gemacht habe aber naja egal, ich probiere das jetzt erstmal so aus. Hulkberry, Cinderella usw zeigen noch keine Anzeichen, dass sie blühen wollen 🤷🏻‍♂️ Hoffe ich kann bei Cherry Cola RF3 und den weiteren noch bisschen weiter Üben. Mein VPD ist mal wieder nicht erwähnenswert mit über 2. 🤭 Habt ein schönes Wochenende
