Day 96, 15th of December 2020:
Wao and wao... this is what I can say.
A bit late I was on holiday I usually start the week with the first day but now with the last one.
So let's start with the "black sheep" of this group as she is alone here RQS Wedding Gelato.
Easy growing issue free little bushy lady. Absolutely great choice of grow. Pretty much ready for Christmas but she can be cut even now lol....
And now let's speak about the Original Sensible Seeds' girls...
Well Black Ghost OG similarly to RQS Wedding Gelato is calm little bushy and issue free lady.... no problem all good ready for Christmas....
Runtz Gum the thick chick with heavy big buds and excellent appearance is really amazing. I placed a stick there and fixed her to look better... It was not necessarily but i have done it.
She needs more time pretty much done ny Christmas or a bit after....
Gelato from Original Sensible Seeds is similar in terms of acting such as streching and all that ...
The same situation applies not much to really say we wait ;)
I am really happy to have these ladies....
Well, Do-Si-Dos OG is the craziest one ever... lol.... not only due her crazy kind of streching style but the trichome developement that comes along to the fan leaf "holder" stem is pretty crazy....
Those buds are like a diamonds sticky and she would be ready to harvest but need to wait because I need to go....
I really had to fix her by placing a stick there I broke one stem but fixed as it did not come off... so crazy especially now because of the weight of the buds... now she looks even more beautiful...
I think she is the most challenging grow ever.
Original Sensible Seeds genetics is unique really high quality just look at them.
Royal Queen Seeds as well but this is my second grow from them my first was a Green Gelato which is the same calm littlw bushy plant. Amazing very good for newbies ;)
I am going on holiday again and back on 28th of December so after harvest starts.
Girls will be cut after.
The 7th weeks starts with tomorrow 16th of December....
Only flushing and no more nutritient will be used.
Soon full report comes. Lamp is the same 11 hours on and 13 off....
The last 4 days they will get 4 days darkness and only ventilation will be working no even more water ;)

She is very frosty and smells like candies. Nice color and the trichomes are passing from clear to milky.

03MAY - woke up to a melted fan. Did a quick fix and hooked my intake fan to it, until I am able to replace that fan. Seems to be working for the time being. Updated pics to follow throughout the week.
04MAY - did a little bit of defoliation, think I did good, still debating on doing more, but I'll wait until she recovers from this one.
05MAY - Woke up late and didn't have time to check water this morning, so they are a little dehydrated, watered them, but other than that seem to be doing ok.

Do you see that SWAMPMONSTER in the corner of the tent there ?? The Queen towers above the canopy and the rest of the plants lol. It's really interesting from using the Smart Proteins, i think how they work is that the plant is able to process them and compensate any kind of slight deficiency which means that each plant that gets the proteins is able to grow to it's maximum potential and at the same time grow to its **individual** potential... that's why each of these plants has so much "character", because if you look closely it's less a question of phenotype but more like "individual expression".... INTERESTING !!! Anyway that's about the visual... my main concern about these is how loud they f-ing smell !!! ITS PROBLEMATIC, so be conscious of that if you plant to grow these one day ! REALLY REALLY LOUD, honestly there should be an additional category on GD like "problematic" which is beyond the "strong smell" category. I have two large carbon filters on two 1330m3/h fans and it's a problem. Hope you understand how unusual that is for a plant in veg lol... I think the smart protein probably affects how strong the plants smell because all the plants seem more smelly than expected... TBH i'll fix the smell issue but hopefully it's a good sign and an indicator of the quality i can expect by harvest time? These also got two rounds of defoliation , and i flipped them to flower like 4 days ago. This was an exciting veg to me, but now is when it gets interesting, let's see how beautiful these flowers are !! Test genetics always have that little bit of mystery to them right? Awesome! Went away for 10 days over Christmas and was not sure what to expect when I got back. Obviously re-potting them and letting them dry out has been effective. I've started adding a little Fish Mix to their water. I don't think they need it but I'll go really slow and try it out on my tomatoes to see what effect it has on them. I'm cautious about drowning them in nutrients as I have no experience with this and don't want to slow the grow down any more than I already have.

Starting to notice some amber trichomes in certain areas of the flower. Decided to raise the light a few inches, defoliate a bit more and add only Ph balanced water. Thinking of another week tops and will look to harvest.

We begin week 4.i have finished all the rearranging of the colas and adjusted the net after trimming all the branches. Focusing the plants to produce to the top buds.

Temps and humidity stable at 81-83f and between 72-78%. Ppms up to 700 for both. Dli at 20-22 roughly. 300 ish ppfd for 20 hours.
The gelat.og is super vigorous and looks the healthiest in the bunch, with super thick stems for its age and lush green. 0 issues just chugging along.
The orange sherbet is healthy af too going good going great. Its already smelly, sour and planty.

God only know what I spent to keep these gems up, but in cure a thing I swallowed another!
The too much warmth in tent has arisen a reaction of strong stress in the plant by transforming their peaks from the shape of fox's tail.
This happens in some cases when the temperature is very high in a tent and makes it believe the plant that is still full summer making it bloom and vegetate at the same time

The week was gone very well until yesterday. I happen to check on the girls when the lights came on I noticed one of my two lamps were out. A bulb burnt. It is only two months old.
I bought it online and delivery on everything from this company is out over two weeks. They are closed for the pandemic. Surprisingly, a local hydroponic store where I bought my fans and air scrubbers from was open. The guy cut me a solid and $85 later I am back in business. The girls just had one night with one light. I don’t think one cloudy day will hurt them
They’re budding nicely, I just pick a few leaves every now and then to get some light to specific buds.

Same this week. Some stretching and lst as it follows.In the second watering with 1L saw run off for first time. I think that I will lst again in (if necessary) the first days of next week and then stop.
