Sadly Zkittlez #2 will no longer be with us. I had to make an executive decision to remove her. I really wasn't sure what was going on. I noticed that her stem were extremely soft and really sticky with a strong chemical like smell. Being that her stem were extremely soft, I could see how any buds would be able to grow. Since the other three girls were in late bloom and doing extremely well I didn't want to jeopardize their progress in late bloom. She was only a week younger than her sisters. R.I.P. Zkittlez #2

I (pre-moistened) worked in 2.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water, with my fingers into this high-porosity soilless growing medium. This variant is very dry, and seems to reject water, until moistened(3cu ft compressed, Agro a5-hp from local nursery). Even after the 2.5 gallons of water was worked in (with no runoff), there was still a dry patch at the bottom of the pot.. I figured it would start to absorb from the wet medium on top, over time. It is now Day 10, and the moistened medium never needed to be watered since day 1. The medium is almost dry enough to be watered (see final picture). Maybe one or two more days. I will poke/scratch the soil daily, to ensure that I wait long enough, to not over-water.

Dear diary, Week 2 done and on the books! Everything went mostly fine up until the very end of the week were I noticed some strangeness with G.C #2 that was transplanted. That will be covered more overall in next weeks update as I try to fix any potential issues. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 11: Calmag foliar applied 2 times during the day at 0.8ms and corrected ph to 6.3. They also got their regular feeding at 1.27ms 6.4ph with me increasing the light to 250ppfd. ⏰ Day 12: They were given a foliar and watering of calmag water at 1.13ms and 6.3ph early in the morning as issues had not cleared up. Later in the evening they got a regular feeding at 1.41ms, 5.9ph and lights were increased to 275ppfd. ⏰ Day 13: 2 calmag foliars, gave feeding at 1.54ms 5.8ph and increased lights to 285ppfd ⏰ Day 14: They have reached 3 nodes marking the end of seedling stage and beginning of veg! They were fed with 1.53ms 5.8ph and four 3 liter airpots was prepped with 75/25 coco/perlite and watered with the same feed until runoff before transplanting. As I can only grow four plants G.C #2 and #3 were selected as the final two. Temps are around 26 and RH 75% with lights on and 24C 80% off. Will be taking down the RH slightly over the coming few days to 65%. ⏰ Day 15: Gave the girls a feeding at 1.57ms 5.6ph. Also increased light to 305ppfd and they do look a bit droopy, but that’s not to surprising after the transplant. ⏰ Day 16: Daily feeding at 6ph 1.59ms and increased light to 320 ppfd. Aiming for 465 ppfd by the end of next week as that would move us up from 20 to 30 DLI. ⏰ Day 17: Sprayed a foliar coat of Leaf Coat from Biobizz as prevention for pest in the morning. For the evening they got their feeding at 1.58ms 6.2ph and foliar spray of calmag as G.C #2 is showing some strangness like small white marks and drooping on the new leaves. Week 4 is here! putting in some over time with the leaf tucking, this girl is very short and bushy! Prepping for her stretch, opening the plant out nicely so light can hit deep down. She is stretching slowly and throwing pistils everywhere. Im holding fingers she stretches some more

So the first week out for this plant and she’s put plenty of growth on since she come out a week today. I’ve been down every 2 days to water I have a little feed of grow to give a little boost. Had no rain few weeks now I think it’s due and she will shoot right up. I still abit of clearing to do to improve more light and air into the spot but so far it’s looking good. That’s all this week, happy growing🌱

Watching the time lapse shows me how my plants are doing throughout the day. Unfortunately, I am only setup to download the data once a week after the grow has already happened. I noticed on the one from week 5 that there would be times it would show growth, and then later in the day start to droop. I figured this might have to do with my watering schedule, I did not want to over water, so I only did it every 2 days. Then I bumped it up to 1.5 days, but now I am watering every morning and that seems to have helped a bit after watching this weeks video. Next week should show better results I hope. So far each time I check them they seem to be doing well. I would like them a little taller, but I can't complain on how they are doing. I upped the nutes a bit this week as well. Do you think I should water more than once a day? When is the best time to water, just before they start daytime or just before they hit nighttime? Or somewhere in between?

Both seeds were planted on the same day, however, one is growing faster which leaves me to assume that's a male which I am very much happy for…time will tell.

D88 - She stretched a lot and I did not intervene with her stretching that much. She doesn't even need any LST since the beginning of flowering. I am just defoliating her a little bit by taking out the leaves blocking the direct light and that's it. Pollination - Previously I harvested some male pollen from a female plant by spraying colloidal silver. This plant itself was a breed of White Rhino X AK47 (White47 I call it). Now I pollinate White 47 with AK47 again at the third week and it will have time to mature her seeds I hope. I marked the branches and turned off-the fan nearly for a day to prevent over-pollination.
