Another week has passed. An eventful week in our lives, but the plants came back on track. Some regular water and defoliating made them happy again. I see lots of similarities between the two strains. Where the XL Runtz ae a true XL and sees to adapt a little better to the conditions than the Forbidden Runtz. But the fight isn't over yet. We still have weeks to go and the forbidden Runtz might recover, my two cents is this: Fastbuds are just a little bit less heat resistant and temps went up last weeks with the SP -3000 on high. Also the XL Runz are closer to the intake of cooler air. So it would be fair to trade places what I do coming week. Thanks again, see you next week!

Not many fan leaves to chop. She grew nice and uniform. Buds look great, Lots of crystal and the purple makes them stand out!!!

I guess the correct headline here is bud rot. Took a while to figure out why I ran into these issues, after a bit more snooping around and investigating I came to a mostly certain conclusion. My passive intake was clogged with dust, barely any air was coming into the grow room. This, coupled with the fact my temperature and RH sensor/recorder was giving me back dated information and applying it to the present day. I didn’t realise I was getting 80%+ RH spikes during lights out for the last 3 weeks. I’ll call it a lesson, and start to check things more regularly around the grow room, not just the plants themselves. After a heavy crop scout with sterilised gloves and alcohol rub to hand, I carefully pulled back and inspected every cola, washing my hands between each cola. Unfortunately most of the largest colas fell victim to botrytis, in the end I cut off 7 colas completely and carefully sorted through into 3 separate piles on D100. One pile was the bin put into double tied sandwich bags with a good spray with 70% alcohol , this contained directly infected areas with a 5cm radius. (235g including fan leaves and stems (wet)) The second pile was for buds that were within 10cm of the rot sites that appeared to be healthy, this went into a brown paper bag, ready for hash making when I complete the harvest in the next couple weeks. (305g including buds and sugar leaves (wet)) The third, and most limited pile was bud sites that were more than 10cm away from the rot sites. These are now successfully dried and are now in their curing jars. Based on the smell, they already smell better than my last harvest so I’m hoping it’s a sign of things to come. (58g buds (dry)) I had to buy a 4x4 tent to temporarily dry the good buds, and will use again when I do the main harvest. The top colas that are left look a little stressed this week, not sure if it’s to do with shock from early harvest, but I am going in and checking every other day with clean clothes to make sure the problems are not progressing further. Based on the trichomes (video) the samples look like they’re a week or two away from harvest now, so hopefully I won’t have the throw anymore away before then. Anyway, waffling over, mainly wanted the detail for my own reference if I ever have to come back to this (I hope not). Good luck all!

And here we are with another week just over... And most probably next week I will also chop her down!! In these week probably for the heat stress she got I started seeing some main buds foxtailing. We are in the 10/14 days of plain pHed water, but I'm considering cutting her before the full flush is complete, this cause I can also see some amber trichomes. For now that's all, but now more than ever stay tuned for the next week, which will be most likely the harvest week! Stay high peeps!!

It’s been another good week for this stinking lady. She’s doing good! I do think I gave her too much cal mag though so I stopped giving her any this week. I’m gonna let her fatten up a little more. I’ll start checking trichomes next week and when she’s ready she can start her final week on a pH’d mix of just water and flawless finish. That’s all for now, Have a great week growers

I was on a Holiday for 4 Days - when i came back, i saw that all branches with a LST-Clip completely snapped, because it grew so fast and did not resist the pressure. There was no chance to fix it, so i took these branches off, so I only had 4 of 8 mainbranches left 😣😭😭😭 I started to Scrog both plants now - especially the Lemon Cherry Cookies on the left needs more space for light. The papaya Cookies will now be tied down in all 4 directions, that the remaining 4 mainbranches can produce a lot more sidebranches and Buds in the end. I had to make the best out of it.

I have been adding EcoThrive charge too much which has cause lockout due to excess nitrogen in the soil, at first I thought it could have been PK but some research and listening to Brandon Rust I have come to my conclusion that it is a nitrogen toxicity. I was adding far too much organic microbes and supplements. Basically nitrogen locked out Calmag that caused tip burn, the plants or on the edge of a nitrogen toxicity but because they’re in Coco and have had a mixture of organic and synthetic the organic side has acquired to much nitrates locking out calcium to the tips of the leaves The BBM has had tip burn the cheese looks too green, both are dark green but the Cheese has more foliage to store the nitrogen hence why little tip burn but more of a vegetative colour, the BBM has hardly any fan leaves left after a strip early in flower. I also think I defoliated too early, but then to second guess I believe if I didn’t feed to much organics the flowers would be much further along. After the previous 2 feeds I can notice the buds picking back up again. Hopefully I can continue with this mix I’m using now and get some consistent bud growth over the next week. I’ll be glad when this one is over. The summer heatwaves are just tiring when you’re growing especially in coco. Looks like the Tangie is not gonna be a big yielder. The frost on it makes up for it though. I think she got about a week left. The Glueberry is smelling so nice. Skunky-gassy goodness. A Plant next to them (Orange Diesel) hermed and I took some pollen to polonate a branch of the Glueberry. I'm very pleased with how this Pink lady is turning out. She packing very nice looking colas and the smaller buds are looking very good too and all of them are feeling very dense and sticky 😍🤤 I'm giving her another week or so... I started flushing a week ago. So guess we're good to go🙏

Thinking of pulling this whole run at this point, the stems are in a bad way and general structure has really suffered. FIM'd both girls this week & gave compost tea(ecothrive biosys) to aid recovery. Will make a decision on growing them out depending on how they respond. (Update end of week.) So in the first week these girls stretched terribly, instead of riding it out and letting them adjust I tried a trick I've applied with tomatoes in the garden and coiled an inch of the excess under the surface and covered it. After a burst of invigorating from the microbe tea(biosys) these girls seem to be recovering from the stress fairly well. The only down side, the stems have broken the surface and left me with these crazy bonsai style stems & the girls are very short and bushy, concerned the stems won't hold any weight later in life.. Will give this another week and make my decision TLDR; Don't interfere with nature when you can help it, especially with autoflowers. Update day 28 from sprout. Bbk1 showing signs of nitrogen toxicity after perking up, I had to use the bottle measure last week instead of a syringe. Much less accurate so assume this is the cause, just ph water for a while. Bbk2 perking up slightly. I did think these girls looked a funny shape and now I can see the stem properly its starting to make sense 🤦‍♂️🤣🤣
