Girls are looking stunning, first round with the cropsalt nothing else PH 5.8, no fluctuations, DTW. It been a slow transition to flower but this could also be due to flippin’ early, in a weeks time when I see more pistils and flower development I’ll be switching over to Bloom nutes. Temps/RH are on point 80/60 has been my range for this one.

Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Week 8 of flowering was rough did not look in the tent for 2 days as my perimeter were all good and I watered every plant so I thought but did not water the gg4 as she felt heavy (her pot) and as I opened the tent on the second day i was shocked and very upset as she looked dead with the ph problems I already had a lot of her leaves were already damaged. Lost a lot of leaves and could probably pull off every fan leaf as all of them have damage now but were in the final week now so she should make it. The bud is not so frosty, nice size buds but with all my mess ups there was no time to create triclones. That my theory as I have gg4 clones at 4 weeks that are twice as frosty fingers crossed last week goes Smooth. Well hope it's last week blimburn seeds says 9-10 weeks so ill go 10. I'll try my jewlers loop but it's only 40× and does not work well if it don't look ready it will go to week 11

Day 29, Too many bugs! Mini grasshoppers and one of those leaf tunneling bugs, as well as a respiratory bug within myself! I’ve taken care of the bug inside myself, now time for the Diatomaceous Earth!!!! And to get that bug out of that leaf! Still feeding a little cal mag. I think it’s necessary. Day 31 - Day 1F Going to ramp it up from 1mg to 3mg per Gal of CalMag OAC. I will top dress something special, maybe the mother earth acid mix, or maybe I will do a seabird guano with insect frass and top it off with an Epsom Salt solution feed. I’m trying to practice using less of a branded store-bought approach. But to source everything is so much easier out of a store bought package, so for now, I might just do a small amount of seabird and insect frass, maybe just a super small sprinkle on the soil surface, not in water. Day 5 of flower: and WTF is up with this foul weather. Only 46 degrees Fahrenheit! (7.8 C) Cloudy with 15-20 mph winds. Gonna drop to 29 tonight… this is ridiculous. I don’t have access to the tent at this time, so it’s cold weather today. I could bring her inside where it’s warmer, and there is no light! Or those house lights put out only a few candelas worth, not exactly light for a plant. Do she would just stretch and go hungry inside. I’m leaving her outside. Bringing her in over night obviously! But not much growth is expected. Just gotta roll with the punches. I thought we were flowering this week, but barely small preflower development. So this is switched back to a Veg week.

Hi growers, so the girls are getting going Zombie D.F. in 3-liter pots got pH Perfect Connoisseur A+B Grow 3 ml, B-52 0.75 ml, Katana Roots 3 ml, Silicon 3 ml, Zenzym 3 ml, Terra Grow 3 ml, Bio Down 1 ml. I’m learning to use pH Perfect, but after adding 1 ml / EC it goes up to 1.5 and the pH only drops to 7.4, so I’d rather add a bit of Bio-Down. Otherwise, I did topping on three autos, and defoliation and light training on the photoperiod plants.And in the end, thanks, and I’ll be glad for any advice.

Hallo meine Freunde des gepflegten Grow sports! 💐 Die Damen sind abgehackt und aufgehangen davor habe ich alle Fächer Blätter entfernt noch als die Pflanzen im Zelt standen heut morgen Ach ja wir haben den 26.04.23 nur so zur Info 😂😂 danach habe ich alle Damen also 4stk an der Zahl genau unter dem ersten Knoten entfernt das gesamte ScroG netzt abgegangen umgedreht und wieder an gehangen (bin irgendwie faul diesmal) war die schnellste und einfachste Lösung und somit wurde aus dem ScroG netzt ein trocken netz 😂🍾😂 Jetzt heisst es warten bis sie trocken sind wie man sehen kann auf dem letzten Video überwache ich weiter die Temperatur und Feuchtigkeits Werte! liegen bei 50% rlf und guten 16 Grad, denke mal in 10 bis 14 Tagen werde ich dann diesen Bericht als ernte ein tragen da die Damen dann in die Gläser gehen werden zum curing, feucht Gewicht kann ich grad nicht sagen, da ich sie ja nicht aus dem netzt entfernt habe aber so bald sie in die Gläser wandern werden sie gewogen Ach ja bevor ich es vergesse habe die Basis der Pflanze dran gelassen da sonnst einiges aus dem netzt fallen würde ohne Befestigung. Wenn es soweit ist gebe ich euch bescheid wenn ich Samen und Setup bei mir stehen. So jetzt aufs eigentliche zurück. Ich habe heute erst mal mein Setup geprüft und so gut wie möglich desinfiziert. Es ist verdammt wichtig das nach jedem Durchgang sauber gemacht wird also zb Zeltwände, Boden, Topfe, Boxen, Wasserbehälter. Habe ich gemacht und habe meine ersten Samen in Anzucht Erde gesetzt, befeuchtet, markieren und in die Box. Wände und Deckel mit zersteuber befeuchten und ab unter die Lampe. WICHTIG MACH DIE ERDE NICHT SO NASS ! DAS GEFÄLLT IHNEN NICHT SONDERN HALTE SIE AM BESTEN FEUCHT IN DEM DU ABEND / MORGEN EIN BISCHEN WÄSSERST! ICH STELLE DIE LAMPE AUF CA 40 cm zum Boden ein bzw der Box. Ein gewisser abstand muss sein um die Fläche komplett zu Beleuchten. Da meine Lampe dimmbar ist muss sie nicht ganz oben hängeng sondern Kann näher an die Pflanzen ran und Stelle den Dimmer auf 20 %. Das reicht anfangs in dem Stadium völlig aus, muss aber dann später angepasst bzw hoch geschraubt werden! Lüfter I läuft 24/7 und sorgt für optimale Bedinungen! Day 132 - 22.09.2020 - Pic updates. Now that my other plant got the boot, this lady has more space. I put up the trellis net to move the branches slightly and get better light penetration. Day 134 - 24.09.2020 - Pic updates. Her lower leaves are starting to yellow which is concerning. I am keeping an eye on her. Day 138 - 28.09.2020 - Pic updates. So definitely concerned. I went out and got the items I needed to start brewing a compost tea as she was yellowing more and looking a bit sad. Even though all my nutes have been given and the PH is right, I do not know why she is having these issues, but I am hoping a nice compost tea will get her back. Other than that she needs to put on more weight. But of the little buds that are there, they are dense as can be. So I am happy with what I see quality wise so far. I will be checking her in more detail later to see what the trichomes are doing, but when I checked quickly we were still very clear.

De nuevo, actualizamos la séptima semana de floración y es que estas skunk están preciosas, es una Indica muy conocida y típica entre nosotros los cultivadores, muy sencilla de cultivar. El ph, la humedad y la temperatura son correctos, zambezaseeds está haciendo muy buen trabajo con sus variedades gente, os lo aseguro que ya son varios los cultivos con ellos. Hasta la semana que viene.

week 6 of the flowering period. the buds become heavy i supported the plant with rope after i took the pics looks like this crop will be ready in 2 weeks. straight tap water with bloom booster is all i give now.

Beginning of week 3 of flowering and plants are slowing there stretch down. I decided to let them come up into the second screen about a foot above the first screen. Second screen holes are twice as big as the first layer screen and is primarily to support the colas later in flowering. I stripped all the growth below the first screen so the plants won’t waste there energy on these lower beaches with no light under the canopy. I will be removing a few of the larger guard leaves later in the week on the top of the canopy to let light in to the lower shouts ready to come up, but not until after the plants recovers for a day or 2 from the bottom stripping. Smell is starting to ramp up, can really notice it strong when you open the tent now.

Took as much of the lower growth of the two plants that I can reach. I think I did a pretty good job for my first time. Cant wait to see how she focuses the energy on the canopy. The canopy itself is within 3-4 inches of each top with each getting a lot of light. I think the last of the pre flower stretch is over but if it isnt im still good with the second scrog. Pulled the two humidifiers and added a small humidifier as well as a 350 sq ft DeHum. Hoping to really keep the humidity low for her to get really frosty. Thanks for checking out the grow! The plants look stretched, because when I switched to 12/12, I raised the bulbs to about 60 cm, because due to the very intense light, the leaves did not burn, and it was very hot in the tent, everything else was going normally.

08/29/2018 Been a hot week but the girls don't seem to mind,90s in the day 82° at night and sticky,muggy weather. Their leaves all pointing ☝️,lets me know they are happy ☺️ .watered with plain water they were pretty dry pots weight was very light. Will feed and water in in morning sleep well and medicated😎 08/31/2018 Just a note today #1 is very green compared to the other 4 plants, could be potted plants running low on nitrogen? My soil has plenty according to soil test. I know last year's crop in soil was pale like other 4 plants, maybe biochar is helping soil retain it's nutes better? Year 2 for biochar, first year could have tied up some nutes....hmmm? Ps Last feeding today Fox farms big bloom at heavy feeder dose 1/2 cup per gallon, should see nice gains this week! 🙏🙏🙏. Pss. I am getting a noticeable smell now in my tent. To put it into perspective, it smells like someone is smoking weed in my tent all day. I am also giving the girls spring water, as our water is fairly hard and full of chlorine and they are coming on great. It's a little bit expensive but I'm finding the end justifies the means. I have started LST too. Perhaps a bit late but she is responding really well. By far this is the most enjoyable grow.

This week is dedicated to finalizing the pot and nutrients for the rest of the lifecycle, looks like it took to the nutrients very well not much new upwards growth but new leaf sites appeared!
