How's it growing farmers? She finally came through this week, showing me some of her potential. we finally have stinky flowers and resin. if you grow this strain in DWC and know what you are doing, top it at the fifth node, you will thank me. There's just too much foliage, I tried very hard with lollipopping and daily defoliations, yet there's still so much growth. if your aim is phat colas, this strain can deliver for sure, but you gotta top it. That said, im sure im still going to get very pretty and very sticky flowers, I predict to harvest around day 90, this is day 63. We have a whole month to go, plenty of time for her to get even frostier and fatter. I also added another trellis late this week, in futile attempt to expose more flower sites and reduce the chance of mold. doing this also reduces the overall rh in the tent, which im having some issues with right now. I started feeding green sensation this week, and kept my EC close to 1.6, this turned out to be a mistake, overnight she brought that 1.6 down to 1 and made the Ph skyrocket, She clearly needed more so I increased the dose to 2 EC later in the week, this is on the high end for me personally, especially for autoflowers, lets see how she responds to it next week. I stopped my Hypochloric acid too, Green sensation has enzymes in it, and i'm not sure how chlorine acts with it, it seemed to make my water cloudy, if anyone knows why, let me know, for now its cold enough to run sterile without chlorine... Day 57, didn't upload anything as nothing had changed. Day 58, still no noticeable changes to her but gave her a pH 6 drink. QB still hasn't arrived but hoping soon. The temps here have turned very pleasant and the tent stays between 21 and 25 throughout the day and night. My humidity also stays under 50% which is nice. Ordered a PPM meter, more pH calibration solution and some new soil for the next grow after this one. Ordered some "Super soil" mix that apparently should cover the first 2 months of nutes. Fully prepared to make the next grow a good one after the learning experience on this. I managed to source 5 RQS Diesel Autos and 5 RQS Royal Madre Fotos (I guess the guy only had stock of the older seeds as he listed it by that name and not the Mother Gorilla that I wish it was). I also have the random bagseed growing in the tent with this NL Auto still in Veg but it showed sex this week and turned out to be female. I was using it to practice HST and attempted to FIM / Top her so I will see how she grows and maybe finish her out before starting my next grow of the Diesel Autos, probably 2 at a time. Day 59. Noticing a lot of the lower leaves are yellowing more than before. Not sure if this is at a normal rate or because of a deficiency. Bud sizes don't seem to be increasing in size still but I am not expecting them too at this stage. I am hoping the yellowing is a normal process at this age and isn't happening too soon as she doesn't have a lot of them to spare if they start dropping off this quickly! Day 60. Definitely noticing a lot of leaves starting to fade and die. I am not sure if I should be doing something to fix this or if its part of the natural cycle at this point in her life? Buds look like they are putting on some nice frost though and the smell is really strong now. I had got used to it because when I left the house for shopping and came back, I could smell her from downstairs. Need to invest in a filter but for now making sure the door is closed in the room with the tent seems to be working. Day 61. Decided to give her a watering today as she was looking a bit droopy. My PPM meter still hasn't arrived so I am unable to check the runoff at this point but hopefully the soil isn't still too hot for her. Also waiting for the loupe to arrive to check trichs but from my best attempts to zoom in on them, they still look to have a fair ways to go. Day 62. She's still chugging along. Haven't noticed any new issues or changes to her today since watering yesterday. Temps got a bit cold last night and the tent dropped to 18c from its usual 21c at night. Doesn't seem to have bothered her too much though. QB arrived today! Swapped out the noisy hot blurple for this 150W QB. Currently running it on 100W as I am not sure if the shock between the 230W actual draw blurple to 150W QB would stress the girl out too badly. Already have to say the light coming off this thing feels "cleaner" somehow and its a beauty for taking pictures with. In love already and can't wait to get the next one going. I have a bag seed in veg in the same tent as the auto that I was planning on flowering after she is done, I think the QB on this intensity might fry her though? Day 63. She has spent some time under the new QB and hasn't shown any visible signs of stress with the light sitting at 13" and 100W. I bumped the wattage up to 110 this morning and plan to do 10W more a day until at the full 150W. Gave her a watering today until about 10% runoff. Watered at 6.5 and the run off measured in at 6.6 so next watering I will go for a lower pH. Not sure how it's built up as I've been watering around 6 for a while. Will keep a close eye on her again after bumping the wattage and watering her. The bag seed seems to be perfectly happy with the change in lighting as well and hasn't shown any signs of stress yet. Also got my seeds today! Will likely grow one or two together, not sure which yet though and will wait for the bag seed to finish up. Will give her the whole tent for flowering to see what kind of yields it will pull. Anyone got experience with the strains Royal Madre or the Blue Cheese from RQS?

🥒 Project Blue Tent – Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Plant A Week 3 – A Change of Direction Hello everyone, and welcome back to another week of Project Blue Tent! 💙🌱 This diary follows one individual Pickle Lemon Haze F1 from Zamnesia, grown completely independently from its siblings so we can appreciate each plant’s unique development from seed to harvest. The goal of this project remains the same: growing multiple genetics side by side under identical environmental conditions while documenting how each cultivar expresses itself. Every plant shares the same home, the same feeding schedule, the same lighting, and the same care, allowing genetics to tell their own story. This week certainly kept me busy. Just after the reservoir refill, a small irrigation incident turned into an unexpected flood inside the tent. Thankfully, because everything is built around the Zamnesia ecosystem, the water never escaped the tent itself. The tray contained every drop, preventing what could have become a much bigger disaster. After drying everything thoroughly, checking every dripper, and making sure the substrate was still in perfect condition, it was business as usual. The plants barely seemed to notice anything had happened. But while nature stayed calm… I decided to interfere. This week marked the beginning of this plant’s training journey with its very first topping. ⸻ Environment Conditions remained extremely stable throughout the week. • 🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C • 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C • 💧 Relative humidity: 67% • 🥥 Root zone temperature: 24°C • 💦 Nutrient solution: 18°C • ⚡ EC: 1.61 mS/cm • pH: 5.8 • 💨 CO₂: Ambient (~450 ppm) • ☀️ Light schedule: 18/6 Nutrient strength was increased slightly to match the plants’ accelerating vegetative growth. The Pickle Lemon Haze accepted the stronger feed without showing any signs of stress or nutrient burn, indicating that the roots are becoming well established inside the Plagron Premium Growbag. ⸻ The Genetics Continue to Impress One thing that immediately stands out with this phenotype is its beautiful structure. Internodal spacing remains compact while side branches continue to develop evenly. The stem has thickened considerably over the last few days, giving the entire plant a sturdy appearance despite its relatively young age. Like its neighbours in the tent, the foliage continues displaying that lighter shade of green I’ve been seeing across all four plants. Since every genetic is showing exactly the same coloration under identical feeding, environment and irrigation, I believe this is simply how these young plants are expressing themselves rather than indicating any nutritional issue. Growth remains vigorous, leaves are standing proudly toward the light, and fresh growth appears every single day. Exactly what we like to see. ⸻ Time to Top This week I made the decision to top this plant. Unlike low-stress training, topping intentionally removes the plant’s primary growing tip. By doing so, apical dominance is interrupted and the plant redirects its energy into the lateral branches. Instead of producing one dominant central cola, the plant now has the opportunity to develop two equally vigorous main leaders, creating a much wider and more balanced canopy later in life. The cut itself was clean, quick, and performed above the selected node, leaving healthy growth tips ready to take over. Now comes the important part. Topping isn’t about what happens immediately after making the cut. It’s about what happens over the following week. Over the next several days I’ll be watching carefully to see how quickly both new tops begin accelerating. If everything continues as expected, those two branches should soon become the new leaders while the lower side branches also receive increased hormonal signals, creating a much bushier structure. For a project like this—where every plant is documented individually—it’s always fascinating to compare topped plants with untouched ones grown under identical conditions. Sometimes the smallest decisions create the biggest differences by harvest day. ⸻ Recovery The best part? The plant barely reacted. Within a short period, fresh growth had already resumed, and the remaining foliage stayed perfectly turgid without drooping or showing signs of stress. Healthy roots, stable environmental conditions, and consistent irrigation make all the difference when performing high-stress techniques like topping. A healthy plant recovers remarkably quickly. ⸻ Looking Ahead Next week should be exciting. I’ll be watching for the formation of the two new dominant tops while continuing gentle canopy management if necessary. As vegetative growth accelerates, the structure created by this topping will begin revealing itself. This is one of my favourite moments in the grow—watching a plant completely change its architecture after a single cut. The foundation is now in place. Everything from here will build upon it. ⸻ Final Thoughts Despite an unexpected flood inside the tent, this week turned into another successful chapter. The environmental parameters remained stable, nutrient uptake continued improving, the plant accepted the stronger feeding schedule without hesitation, and the first topping was completed successfully. Every week these genetics continue giving me more confidence, and I honestly can’t wait to see how this Pickle Lemon Haze F1 develops once both new leaders begin stretching toward the light. What could have turned into a much bigger mess ended up being nothing more than drying the tray, fixing the issue, and carrying on with the grow. Moments like these remind us that great equipment isn’t just about making life easier on the good days—it’s about saving the day when something unexpected happens. Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Well she took over the 7 gal in 2 weeks and was stressing about it's roots being restricted so I soaked her and transplanted to a20 gal tub.i was not happy at first because it wasn't planned and I didn't know how she would handle this but after watching her I think she'll grow to enjoy the extra room

Alright first off, the nanners were mostly sterile and/or removed by Yours Truly. I could barely find any seeds actually. So far I have only 2 after handling every bud. I did defoliate heavily and put them under very intense lighting. Probably, the male parts were stress induced. I would not fault Dinafem anyway because hermaphroditism can happen. And let's be honest, if you look at those plants do you see a female one or a real hermaphrodite? BTW, this plant was so good that I can't wait to grow the seeds- and I am not a fan of "bag seed" From a 2x2 I got a little over 130 grams. But let's not talk about yield because this is truly some amazing quality. The smell is 10000% kush, you will love it. I have a second seed that shows exactly the same leaves, stems and smells as this one. So I have faith that there is some stability in this genetics. Haven't flowered it yet though. Like I said, just read Dinafem's description on the website. I think it is 100% true about my result which is something I find amazing. The harvest window they gave was pretty much right on the money. I think these people have really done their work, at least, with this strain. Well, I can't really say all this because I only flowered one seed of it. But to have such a result makes me really happy. I don't write this review for dinafem or any other seed company... just for you, the reader, who wants to find something dank to grow If you want a little more yield, go for another one. This is also a pretty slow vegging plant. The THC % must be really high. The first time I smoked it I started sweating. Ignore the flavors I report, it's either dank or not and this is Dank

Almost the end of the week. I thought I'd put up a midweek post. First week of flower almost in the books and the stretch has started. Everything is going well so far. Nutes dialed in, plants happy, the green thumb is working its magic.

Well this was the last week! Had to chop her for various reasons but she’s pretty much done! I will let the pics and videos do the talking! I will update in 7 days with details of the harvest weights etc 😎

Canopy is very crowded, I am going to defoliate quite harshly on day 21. Apart from it being a little packed the plants are growing at a fantastic rate.

And we’re off! Day 6 after switch plants are looking beautiful 😍 let’s see how things go now! Also flora trio is the easiest nutrient to use and always works great! If you’re a beginner or novice grower always use general hydroponics flora trio! And check out their terpinator/purpinator amazing products!

ॐ MOBY DICK from BARNEY'S FARM "Bedroom setup" 10th week of flowering from 12.1.2026. to 18.1.2026. but content of pictures is from 12.1.2026. to 22.1.2026. Harvest week :) also drying days included. Harvest was done after 4 days of darkness (15.1.2025.) i did heavy wet trim and let them hang for few days before puting them in nets, after some days in net, i removed all buds from stems and put all in jars, will burp them for next few weeks every few days. Trough drying process(10days) i took 25g for somoking. and with that included weight of dry bud was 992grams, also i forgot about first two braches which i removed and smoked while platns was alive at end of week 9 which was 18g, so all in all around 1kg with 13 plants. Here with these 13 plants which i had is three phenos, maybe only two plants was real Moby Dick (pheno no1), these others (most of them) was mix between G13Haze and WhiteWidow, with strong domination of WW over the G13Haze (pheno 2), and one plant was where G13Haze was more dominant over WW (pheno 3). All buds are dense and rich with trichomes, smell is citrusy and very very strong. This buds hiting hard, very strong sativa which i rly like :) Moby Dick was very easy to grow, plants rly liked heavy training, and once again Barney's Farm genetics did great for me. :) Take care and much love. ॐ

Defoliated these ladies, still have the feeling that not enough I took down. What do you all think? Overall condition is great and buds are surprisingly well established at this stage. Stems already shaking some more weight and they gonna drop down easily.

Week 17 Day 113 (04/12/2020)💧: Nice start to the week with a watering. Just as last week, I will be giving them the increased nutrients until the flush. So today I gave them 1.5ml of BioGrow, 6ml of BioBloom, and 6ml of TopMax. Day 114 (05/12/2020): The trichomes were looking beautiful today! (really hard to take close of pictures of them though). You can see in the pictures that some are getting more amber now which is a great sign that the girls are almost ready 🌸 Day 115 (06/12/2020): Took a quick pic of the tent but didn’t have much time to check the girls properly. I’m sure they are great as always 👌 Day 116 (07/12/2020)💧: I watered the girls today with the same nutrients: 1.5ml of BioGrow, 6ml of BioBloom, and 6ml of TopMax. The buds on this girl are looking super dense and even the ones at the bottom are getting bigger! I hope that this 6ml of TopMax will fatten them up even more in the next few weeks before harvest 😄 Day 117 (08/12/2020): Didn’t have time to take pictures today actually Day 118 (09/12/2020): I’ve gotta say that their smell is definitely evolving in a more “mature” direction and they are starting to smell less like citrus and a bit more earthy and spicy. Really incredible! Day 119 (10/12/2020)💧: Watered the girls today with the same nutrients as last time giving them 1.5ml of BioGrow, 6ml of BioBloom, and 6ml of TopMax. They are both doing well but again some of the leaves and stems at the bottom were definitely a bit sad and wilting. But nevertheless, I took some videos and close-up pictures and they look incredible. Their red tint is definitely developing more and more, which is especially noticeable when I take close ups. Also looking from their trichomes, there are some amber ones already so I am thinking to even start the 2 weeks flush from next watering onwards and prepare for harvest! Will assess the trichomes in a few days and decide.
