This plant was the first of the 4 to come up, it also basically exploded out of the shell in the germination process. While she was still in water I could already see green leaves lol. She’s really plugging along. This is a cross made by a friend of mine and is the first time it’s being grown.

The girl is fantastic :) she looks strong, healthy and happy :) next week, I will defoliate her to give energy to the flowers, and at the same time improve air circulation closer to the stem :) everything is going smoothly and well :).

Couldn't wait for new pots to be delivered so I used a couple old ones I had and improvised with the other 3 and made some from instant noodle pots 😋 I vacuumed and disinfected every inch of the tent today before I put the little ladies in there, I have to say it is much brighter now...didn't realise how dusty things could get! Hopefully removed all traces of pollen. I'll mist/spray these regularly with water as a precaution.

Plants are doing well. Watering roughly once weekly continues to be the current schedule. In this week's watering (week 6, Thursday), a nutrient mix was added (19% Nitrogen, 5% Phosphate, 20% K2O). pH was measured (via the runoff/drainage water collected) on all three plants using a pH probe, of which was measured to be slightly acidic for all plants (exact pH numbers above in the photo descriptions). We are aiming for a pH range of 6.0-7.0, so in next week's watering, we will add a buffer solution to alkalize the soil. All three plants lower branches were also pruned.

Week 8, probably the last week of Veg , it will depends on how the main tops are gonna grow compared to the side shoots that are supposed to fill up the inner holes. If the plants redirect their energy in the shoots instead of the main tops I could be able to add another week of Veg , plants have been ScrOG’ed and shaped for this but after all they will decide by their own if they fill that the main tops are to low to catch the male pollen they will send the energy in the side shoots to get a chance to catch it ! Plants grows for only one purpose, to reproduce ! And the Cannabis has an maniac obsession to reproduce this is why it makes it so resilient ! And this why it gets twice bigger in just 2-3 weeks when it stretch. So, if you’re reading this my friends, you will understand that the time to prepare your girls for the stretch is now ! It's below zero outside and my heater can't keep up. Also the humidifier for this tent broke and I can't afford to replace it right now. It's starting to smell like fruit roll ups, so that's nice. Hopefully reaching the end of stretch.

Welcome to week 5 of my white truffle grow! What an eventful week! After I installed the trellis last week one of the tips of a branch cracked completely. Luckily the crack was in the perfect position, so the plant just topped herself another time 😄 Nevertheless I’m defoliating a lot because of the small size of the box and trying to keep the plant as low as possible. I needed to defoliate twice this week because she’s building up a lot of biomass. I’m wondering why I’m still not seeing any sign of pre flower yet, but let’s wait and see what’s coming up in week 5. End of week 5- no sign still.
